  Please go into Photoshop preferences and then go to the tab Type.

  In it please change the text engine to Asia to the Middle East.

  Restart Photoshop and then see if it works.

• Windows Paint text installation will not work and the 'A' accentuates not when the cursor passes over it

  I just wanted to put some txt on photo paint open so imported the scanned picture and everything else works, but the ease to enter text. • Text formatting will not work on 7.23

  Hello.

  It has been recently updated (about two weeks ago) that completely broke text formatting for me.

  None of the options work for me.

  They would look like this under my messages:

  * bold *.

  _italics_

  ~ bar ~

  {code} and I don't even know what to call this code from {}

  None of them appear correctly, yet other people I chat with that do not have this problem.

  What happened, and is there a way to fix this?

  Under "Tools" - "Options" - 'IM and SMS' - "Appearance IM", make sure that 'Show advanced text formatting' are checked.

  I have a weird problem of InDesign CS5.5. If I create a framework and enter text as usual, when the text reaches the end of the frame it layers itself during the first part of the text? I imported the paragraph styles that I previously created and used without problem of thousands of times in the current document. I tried to start a new standard paragraph style, and it does exactly the same thing. I've looked everywhere and you can't find the information on wrap around an object that is not a problem for me! The clock is against me in a big way, so would appreciate any help you can give me - I'm sure it's something simple?

  I am changing the content on a block of text in Illustrator using a JavaScript file.

  My method is as follows:

  changeLayer = doc.layers.getByName(textKeys[t]);

  changeLayer.textFrames.getByName(textKeys[t]).wrapInside = true;

  changeLayer.textFrames.getByName(textKeys[t]).contents = textArray [textKeys [t]];

  Basically, I set wrapInside to true and then I replace the content of the block of text with a string.

  However, rather than the text as you wish, Illustrator print everything on one line expands the size of the text block (and sleep) to adapt the text on a single line. Even when I put explicitly the width and height of the image in the script, it shrinks the text to fit on a single line in the rather enveloping framework. If I explicitly set the size of the police he then extends the framework once again, but only on a single line. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  Don't forget that you have different types of linked text frames. In vba, you can find the property THAT allow you to show that read only 3 types of text frames aiAtraText, aiPathText and aiPointText

  padding-bottom will not work on a because it is an inline element.
  The height of inline elements is controlled by the line height of the
  block parent element.

  Cc 2015 Photoshop text engine will not initialize. I've been running PS on a windows 10, 64-bit PCs since August with no problems. Now out of the blue, I can't type any text. I tried to delete the Cache of police CT and the * FontCache-* .dat files and have even uninstalled, rebooted, and then reinstalled photoshop. Nothing seems to work. Help, please!

  Yohanna thanks for the suggestions, but I discovered the problem. It's a font that was damaged. I removed the police, that I used extensively in the past, and now everything works as it should.

  Steps of my work:

  1. I checked to see if I could load a file already containing fonts that I could.
  2. I then tried to change the fonts in the file to see if I could change it to something else. When I could, I went down in my list of fonts to see how I could use.
  3. It has stopped working on a particular font that I then proceeded to delete and now it works fine.

  I hope this helps others who may have the same or similar issues.

  Depending on the size of your image, 12 pt is too small to appear.  Have you tried a larger font?  Also you did not show the character Panel in your video.  That has a lot of useful information.

• Text wrapping does not not in CC

  I placed a picture over text and using the text layout Panel, added an envelope of basic text. The border appeared which indicates where the text should wrap, but the text does not wrap. I tried to place the image above the text and below the text with the same results (visible here)

  

  However, when I open a document in CC created the text wrapping CS6 works as it should. I even copied and pasted an image with a functional skin of the CS6 file to a new CC document and the text wrapping is more work. Everyone fell on this problem?
