PAGE NUMBER QUESTION

Hi Experts,

I have a question about the number of page in my report.

This is the scenario. In my model, I'm a loop between quotation marks in my sample code XML 5 CITATIONS and I each QUOTE so generated have 3 pages each. The total number of pages is of 15 pages. And in my footer page number, tell page 1 of 3 page 3 of 3 by QUOTES.

Can the foot of page number become page 1 of 15-page 15 of 15 with all CITATIONS are consolidated?

Thank you! :)

You can use to the continuous numbering

    Hello

I'm on HFR 11.1.1.3 version. I created HFR report via the HFR studio and included the < < < card > > > function in the bottom to display the page number. When I run the report in PDF format, the page number is not displayed in the output report.

Please can you help me solve this problem.

    Thank you

    Michel K

I added the Page function in the report and now I am able to see the page number in the report. I created the book for these new reports and when I ran the book, I could not able to see the page. I've recreated the book again once and got the page number.

  • Can you tell me how I can ask for help with the following question of Indesign: I am a new user of Indesign and creative Member Cloud. I was using the fall of the window/Pages to the bottom of the window to view my pages alphabetically or by page number

I am a new user of Indesign and creative Member Cloud. I was using the fall of the window/Pages to the bottom of the window to view my pages alphabetically or by page number and also to determine whether or not my JPEGs have been sufficiently high resolution of the printer. I don't know how I did it, but somehow the window has changed so that now, there not alphabetical/digital/hi-res information. It shows just the pages in a two pages in numerical order. How to restore the window so that I'll be able to view the information I did previously.

    Your help will be appreciated,

    Hello.

Printers do not have the ability to print a page number of your document. This will have to be enabled through your software or document settings. Check if your document has the possibility of having a page printed on each page number.

  • Page number variable based on the anchor text & SEO numbered list

I looked and looked, not only in Adobe help centers but also just in Google, and I can simply find an answer one way or another to my questions!

I would like to do 2 things:

1 use a variable to refer to that page more information can be found on a certain subject (i.e. for more information, please see page #.), even if the page number will no doubt change I have continue to work on this project and eventually build my book from the various documents that I created. I can insert a kind of marker or anchor text or whatever it is I need the information that I am referencing, as long as it is not visible, of course. I would just have a dynamic reference, so I don't have to go back through and try to check my page references are all correct. The variable of the current Page will help me not in this case.

    2. I would also like to refer to numbered tables I have; they are currently configured as being numbered by a custom paragraph style which is mode number, 'continue previous number "; Another situation where the table numbers will change because I continue to work on this book and I want a dynamic solution. If I need to insert a variable to calculate the numbers in the table, rather than using the paragraph numbering style, it is very good; I prefer to do a little more work now, so that I can be sure my references are accurate, when this is said and done!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

  • Reset the page number for the new RTF (not group data) section

I am working on a set of maritime documents - Pick and Pack Slip briefs. RTF model has 2 sections for the same group of data (delivery). The waybill is a customer oriented document and sheet of choice is used in the warehouse to fulfill the order. The intention is to print the slip to pick and pack slip together, while the selector may include the packing slip in the package that is shipped. I want that each air waybill to start its page number to 1, but it always starts at the current page number - i.e. If the pick slip is 2 pages long, the leaf pack starts at 3. I tried to use the page number of the RTF/MS Word formatting, but it doesn't seem to work? Is there a way to reset the page number for a new RTF section?

Can I store the current page number in a variable and use a formula to reset the page number for the waybill?

Please note: this is not a <? for-each@section:tag? > question.

    Thank you

  • Insert page number in the footer

How is - a insert number into the footer of a document from the Page?

    Evolution of salvation,

5 pages has three fields in a header or a footer. Aligned left, Center, right.

Click in the field where you want the page number and Menu > insert > Page number (and the number of pages if you wish)

I had a look at your other post (how to insert a line over a foot of page)

How to put the line above the footer area?

and I couldn't find a way to insert a row above each paragraph, not the entire footer:

    Bad luck!

Maybe someone else knows how to do this.

    Kind regards

  • How to remove a page number for a specific page

I am editing a book of poetry in pages and my start of document with a title page, followed by a couple of blank pages, followed by the table of contents pages followed by the rest of the book pages. Now I have whole page numbering upwards in the foot with the option of "not visible on the first page.

My problem is, I want to delete the page number of these blank pages after the title page, but keep the numbering goes after that. However, if I try to delete the page number in the footer of specific, it removes all the footer later (or alternate footers.)

So my title page is number 1, but some like "poster is not on the first page" it does not show the number, that works. Page 2 and 3 are empty then 4 page is the first page of table of contents, etc.. I want to make pages 2 and 3 show not the foot of page/number, but keep page 4 and beyond.

    Thanks in advance!

You did not have the Pages you use. I'll assume Pages 5.x

Click on the last page you want to have no Page number > Menu > insert > Section break

Click in the next Section > toolbar > Document > Section > Page numbers > start: 1 > numbering > uncheck continue from the previous section

If there is a Page number in the previous Section, remove it.

  • HP Deskjet f-4272 all-in-one: how to disable printing of the Page number?

    Hello!

My printer always prints the page at the bottom of the pages numbers. How can I disable that?

I use Jarte - free version - which is like WordPad, but with more options such as the spelling checker and the number of words. By default, it is saved as a WordPad document, but by right clicking on the document before you open it (in the list of Documents), the option to open it in Jarte and vice versa.

I found the settings to disable printing page number to this topic in WordPad and Jarte:

In the WordPad document: file > Page Setup > Print Page numbers > (uncheck) > OK.

In the document Jarte: file > Page Settup > header & foot > print header and footer >(Uncheck it) > OK.

I use the HP Laserjet P1606dn printer. I am trying to print the user's Guide the HP for a new printer HP Officejet Pro 8620. The manual is in PDF format. When you view a page of the manual on the computer screen, the page number appears at the bottom of the screen. Unfortunately, when printing the printer manual HP Laserjet P1606dn, the page number is not printing. I tried to use the SHRINK TO FIT to the Laserjet function, but that does not print the page number.

Any advice on how to print the page number would be welcome. Aaron

Thank YOU FOR YOUR QUICK RESPONSE! PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED. I TRIED TO PRINT THE GUIDE THE USER DIRECTLY FROM THE WEB SITE THAT DID PRINT NOT PAGE NUMBER. I DOWNLOADED THE MANUAL IN THE MEMORY OF THE COMPUTER AND THEN PRINTED THE GUIDE FROM THE DOWNLOADED FILE. THE PAGE NUMBER DID PRINT WHEN YOU PRINT FROM THE DOWNLOADED FILE. WHY IT WORKED, I DON'T KNOW, BUT CELA WORKED.

THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR KIND INPUT1 BEST, AARON

This is the default value? Can I disable this? I would prefer to print only the document, without page numbers and the title.

I was printing of either Wordpad specifications, using Windows XP.

Using the front panel of the printer, I loaded the defaults of the printer, and that fixed the problem.
