' Parameter IN or OUT to missing index: 3 'call to a procedure.

Hello
Dear all, I searched the Forum before posting my problem but I can find no useful solution so please help.
I followed this Post and fact http://sameh-nassar.blogspot.com/2010/01/create-plsql-function-and-call-it-from.html
but after that I have little change and turn it into a procedure that is;

create or replace PROCEDURE xim_req
(reqID IN XIM_PURCHASE_REQUISITIONS.req_id%TYPE,
rreqID ON XIM_PURCHASE_REQUISITIONS.req_status%TYPE
)
IS
BEGIN
Select req_status in the rreqID of XIM_PURCHASE_REQUISITIONS
Where req_id = reqID;
END xim_req;

And my java code in Impl class

public String getReqID (int reqID) {}
CallableStatement cs = null;
try {}
CS = getDBTransaction () .createCallableStatement ("start?: = xim_req(?,?);") end; ", 0) ;
cs.setInt (1, reqID);
cs.registerOutParameter (2, Types.VARCHAR);
cs.executeUpdate ();
Return cs.getString (2);
} catch (SQLException e) {}
throw new Aexception.getLocalizedMessage (e);
}
}
and on jsf page behind the button code is

public String cb1_action() {}
BindingContainer links = getBindings();
OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("getReqID");
Object result = operationBinding.execute ();
System.out.println ("result =" + result);
If (! operationBinding.getErrors () .isEmpty ()) {}
Returns a null value.
}
Returns a null value.
}
but after the execution of this page, I get this error "parameter Missing IN or OUT to index: 3" Please help me
Thank you

Your call to the procedure

cs=getDBTransaction().createCallableStatement("begin ? := xim_req(?,?); end;",0);

Display three '?' so the statement expects three parameters, but you define only two.
As you call a procedure that does not return a value (other then the parameter defined on) change to

cs=getDBTransaction().createCallableStatement("begin xim_req(?,?); end;",0);

    Hello

    put a step DECLARATION above all. After that in my opinion, it is better to put a TO_CHAR().

    Try putting your variable in text mode and change your filter in

    TO_CHAR (LAST_UPDATE_DATE, 'YYYYMMDDHHMI') > = TO_CHAR(#PROJ.) P_EXTRACT_FROM_TS, "YYYYMMDDHHMI")

    In your operator if you click on the variable whose value you see?

  • JPA with Oracle stored procedure: setting IN or OUT to missing index: 1

    Hello

    I'm going to have bad configure integration between Oracle stored procedure (which returns a cursor) and the Parliamentary Assembly joint.

    Thank you

    The exception occurs because you said JPA to pass a parameter, but it is not expected the stored procedure. Try to change your definition of stored proc in a cursor output variable that can be used in your JPA query to return the cursor. An example is here:

    If your query contains the variable binding (not used in ViewCriteria), please indicate the variable according to the needs. Optional binding variable makes sense if they are really in-e option. g: when using ViewCriteria
    If your user interface is bound to the VO even, then you can set the bind the values of the variables in 2 ways
    1. of declaratively using executeWithParams link (shown in you pallete of control data, under opreartions of the VO)
    2. with the help of a method activity

    You have two versions of Pages on your Mac, probably the Pages ' 09 and 5.6.1 Pages.

    When you have clicked on your Pages ' 09 version previously opened in Pages 5, 6.1 and was converted into a format of Pages 5.6.1.

    When you double click on the document today you opened in Pages ' 09, who cannot open the format of Pages 5.6.1.

    To open the document in the correct application, right-click on the document and choose. Pages ' 09 has a bottle of blue ink icon, Pages 5 has a generic research paper Orange.

    If you want to convert your document to Pages ' 09, because it has over more than 100 features and is much more productive:

    Open the document in Pages 5.x > file > export > Pages ' 09

  • Check missing indexes

    Hi all
    We have a database with multiple tables using foreign keys. Some of my questions of coldfusion are slow. We use the 11g version.
    It's a way to check the missing indexes?
    I want to help the best results database, I know it's a broad topic but as new in oracle, I have to start somewhere.
    Links or comments will be appreciated.
    Concerning

    You have PROFESSIONAL secrecy? If Yes, you can ask Oracle to analyze your queries and recommend what indexes should improve performance. You need get the SQL Id for each query you want to analyze.

  • How to call a stored procedure with a REF CURSOR output parameter

    I'm looking forward to example calling a function/stored procedure with a REF CURSOR output parameter and get the result.
    In other words, I have a stored function/procedure that runs a SELECT statement using the OCI library and then he could get the values of each row and each column.

    I put a code snippet, it have only the main thing to call a simple stored procedure and to print the name of each column of the cursor, but I couldn t to print out values in the table that calls the stored procedure.
    I understand that the next step is to call an OCIStmtFetch.
    How to associate the slider with the OCIStmtFetch?

    If you need more information, just tell me.

    I use ANSI C with HP - UX (HP - UX C) operating system and Oracle 10 g.

    Kind regards.

    Hi Antonio,.

    I see this:

    c_buf=(ub1 **)calloc(sizeof(ub1 *),3);

    ...

    rc=OCIDefineByPos(pOciStatCursor,&pdef,(OCIError *)pOciError,pos,c_buf[pos-1],size+1,(ub2)type,(dvoid *)c_indp[pos-1],(ub2 *)0,(ub2 *)0,OCI_DEFAULT);

    That I don't understand. You allocate space for 3 pointers ub1 but I don't see where these pointers are then initialized to point to where the data is to be stored.

    I do not read correctly?

    Sorry for posting code long, but here is an example of code that I have. It is much more 'code' for your code, but maybe that will be enough...

    NOTE: This is just the code example and not rigorous. For example, I don't check the memory, allocations etc in this code!

    Kind regards

    A red circle that appears when you miss a phone call will not go away? Any ideas?

    Hello

    If I am not mistaken, you see a red circle when you miss a phone call that you would like to go. If this is the case, you can simply open the app phone on your iPhone and wait 10 seconds, and then return to your home screen. In doing so, the iPhone think that you have viewed your missed calls, once you see the red circles will disappear. If you're still having problems, this can be a problem and a simple reboot will help. Here's how you can restart your iPhone:

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears
    • Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone
    • Once the iPhone is off, press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears.

    I hope this helps.

  • C# Oracle.DataAccess calling a stored procedure with a date parameter throws formatexception

    C# Oracle.DataAccess CommandType.StoredProcedure is OracleDbType. Date

    I can't get my code to call an oracle procedure that has an order date.

    I receive a System.FormatException occurred in Oracle.DataAccess.dll

    I tried to assign the param. Value = DateTime and also tried assigning as a string formatted with no luck.

    What is the magic formula, I need to call this function?

    Here is a code snippet:

    OracleCommand cmd = new OracleCommand();

    cmd connection group appConn;.

    cmd.CommandText = "mypackage.myprocedure";

    cmd.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;

    Param = new OracleParameter ("iDateParamter", OracleDbType.Date, ParameterDirection.Input);

    Param. Value = "August 31, 2015."

    Here are other formats I' tried... ved param. Value = myDateValue.ToString ("dd - MMM-yyyy"). ToUpper(); (/ / "MM/dd/yyyy"); 'YYYY-MM-dd'); "MM-dd-yyyy");

    cmd. Parameters.Add (param);

                BindByName. cmd = true;

                cmd ExecuteNonQuery());

    Shame on me..., you can close this message

    It was not for the error on my date field, I had another parameter that has been attributed to a string instead of an integer.

    For the record, this has worked well for me:

    Param = new OracleParameter ("iActvyPerDate", OracleDbType.Date, ParameterDirection.Input);

    Param. Value = li. ActvyPerDate.ToString ("dd-MMM-yyyy"). ToUpper();

  • CVI 2013 SP1 - function calls repeated with pointer on a variable array parameter causes a shift of the index

    I have some functions will be pointers as parameter and CVI 2012 SP1, they work as before without problems but with CVI 2013 SP1 they are now incorrect.

    Here the description of what is happening - I found a cure, but a duty adopt the old code and I think it's clear that nobody don't "captures" all lines in a 'big old code' which are affected (maybe):

    I have functions

    'function_XYZ(int *p_paraArr) '.

    with 'p_paraArr' as pointers on a table (int).

    Suppose I have another function

    "fct_TOP (void)".

    where is a local array variable which is inizialized by

    "int TheArray [25] = {0};

    and inside of this "TOP"-function-body I call a function ".

    "function_XYZ (TheArray).

    There are no complains of the compiler (CVI 2012 or 2013) and the code works (but the CVI 2013 only once!).

    But if I put 'fct_TOP' loop I have a lag in the "TheArray' -memory.  (The loop surrounds the function "TOP"! "")

    This means that the result "TheArray" obtained from "function_XYZ (TheArray)" starts at index '1' not on the index '0' - as the first time that the function "function_XYZ (TheArray)" was performed. ".

    The solution is:

    I only replaced

    "function_XYZ (TheArray)" (<1>)

    by

    "function_XYZ (&(TheArray[0]))" (<2>)

    overall the program now works every time (in the whole loop)-the first time (in the loop).

    In the second version (<2>) everything is necessary to "work well":

    The '&' and parentheses "(...)", which contains the element that may be designated by the '& '.

    And I hope that you believe me: I've tested several times, it was only "little" change that solved the problem.

    So it seems that the ICB 2013 (SP1) is a kind of internal offset index by a repeated execution of the

    "function_XYZ (TheArray).

    but I don't know how or why but I see in debug mode by observing the expected against the values in the table received!

    At the first time the (implicit) internal index of 'TheArray' is '0', but the following times (during the execution of the loop) the internal index passes to '1' (seen in the debugger because that all the expected values were shiftet like that!).

    So there's an explicit index in the table ("function_XYZ (&(TheArray[0]))") necessary to make the first time of this clear code execution.

    There are some good improvements in 2013 CVI (SP1) and I like this environment more than the 2012 version - but:

    There are other "changes" also, in the compiler (or linker...?) that are more rigid than "in ancient times.

    The problem of this kind of error is always the 'old code '!

    It is expected of such behavior.

    The compiler/linker do not complain (a complaint would be good!) writing but he made this mistake (in a loop).

    By the way: my 'compilation Options' are set to 'Extended' (without change in the "..." ("- button - Options) and that all of the boxes, except the" OpenMP_support "-box are checked!"» So I think that I put the very rigid compiler - maybe there are some «...» ' - button - settings to get rid of this problem, but I have not found them/it.

    My request:

    -Check the stiffer compiler by the need of an explicit index

    - or switch to the 'old' behavior with "function_XYZ (TheArray)" always refers to implicit index '0' of the element "TheArray". "."

    Thank you for your messages, comments and suggestions.

    -As I wrote before - maybe it's the style of programming or error"self made"... maybe...
    .. But if I replace 'function_XYZ (TheArray)' by "function_XYZ (&(TheArray[0]))" and
    then it works... Why so and not, if bothe the same? ...

    But as long as I do not post sample code, nobody is going to accept - I accept it. So consider this post more as an allusion to the fact that of the LW/CVI 2012-2013 LW/CVI more changed than just the LW - GUI or certain features: the compiler changed its 'way to'... or almost.

    For this problem, I think that I will use the solution 'use no implicit and explicit pointers'.
    Who should be a good idea taking into account

  • Import out hardrive - missing images

    I run MAC & have lightroom CC.

    I stored a wedding on my hardrive RAW files, when double checking the folder in lightroom, I realized that I miss now about 50 cases who do not import. I went to import the missing files off the coast of the hardrive, dragging on import.

    It's now show this, say that there are no files.

    Y at - it something I am doing wrong? I'm still learning lightroom, but I've never met this error before.

    Thank you in advance to anyone who can know what is happening!

    Hi kimberlynf,

    If images are missing after import in Lightroom and showing gray-out, you can follow the link below for re - locate the missing images in Lightroom.

    How to find missing photos in Photoshop Lightroom

    In addition, if you looking to re - import all the images again and they are showing gray-out on the window import, then you should uncheck the "do not import suspected duplicates" option in the file management menu.

    Let us know if that helps.

    Kind regards

  • call a stored procedure with OUT VARCHAR2 parameter fails

    Hi all

    I use the Oracle 11.2.0.1 version OLE DB provider. I have a simple stored procedure that contains a VARCHAR2 OUT parameter:

    create or replace procedure TestOut (RESULT_CODE OUT VARCHAR2) is
    Start
    RESULT_CODE: = 'X '.
    TestOut end;

    The following c# code piece fails:

    String ConnStr = "Provider = OraOLEDB.Oracle; User ID = test; Password = test; Data Source = sandbox; « ;
    OleDbConnection Conn = new OleDbConnection (ConnStr);
    Conn.Open ();
    OleDbCommand Cmd new OleDbCommand();
    Cmd.Connection = Conn;
    OleDbParameter Param = Cmd.CreateParameter ();
    Param.ParameterName = "RESULT_CODE ';
    Param.Direction = System.Data.ParameterDirection.Output;
    Param.OleDbType = OleDbType.BSTR;
    Param.Size = 1;
    Cmd.Parameters.Add (Param);

    Cmd.CommandType = System.Data.CommandType.Text.
    Cmd.CommandText = "{TESTOUT (?). CALL} ";
    Cmd.ExecuteNonQuery ();

    If the stored procedure is modified to contain an OUT parameter, the same code works, after you change the type of parameter to appropriate OleDBType (OleDbType.SmallInt).

    What am I doing wrong when handling OUTPUT VARCHAR parameters? Y at - there any limitation on the types of parameters stored procedure using the Oracle OleDB provider?

    I get an access violation, using 11202. What do you get?

    In any case, it works fine for me using OleDbType.VarChar instead of OleDbType.BSTR.

    Hope this helps, comments welcome.

  • Missing index

    Hello

    I can be out a really simple place or box, check here, but I created an index for my project (RoboHelp X 5) and the index is genrated with the rest of the project. The glossary is fine, can anyone help?

    Hello

    Well, I managed to sort it out. I use HTML Robo X 5 help. There are certainly elements added to the index.

    I had not used the + no symbol, no idea why, think I've been watching this long form, as when I created the glossary, it was automatically added. Anyway your answer prompted me to look in the right place. Thank you very much

  • View VM 4.0.1 - Offline Desktop, "Check Out" option missing?

    Hello

    I'm currently trialing VM view 4.0.1 but I seem to lack the 'Check Out' of my VM option.

    I try to connect from an XP SP3 32-bit Client (with option installed offline), an XP SP2 32 bit VM with the agent installed (with currently out option also).

    My display manager has the Agent computer virtual defined as an office induvidual with 1 single user more to him and Offline Desktop are allowed in the policy. Offline Desktop also shows that licesensed in config because it is a path of 60 days license.

    As far as I can see on my client, I should have the option to 'check' my vm but its is currently not visible. I've seen a few posts similar to this problem, but none with a resolution - although 1 suggested the option has appeared during installation a correct license key Check-Out. I'm currently waiting on our buyer untangle a genuine license but despite this, I expect this function runs in the trial... that is the question!

    If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it a lot

    Thank you
