• Too many favorite folders?

  Try to synchronize and import or export of favor'ites, I found several 'Favorites' "folders" or "files" in 'my documents' and outside as if, the "Favorites folder" was duplicated in several places.

  I then found, after trying to remove some of the favorites that are displayed in IE had disappeared. I could save urls and see those recorded, so I again that they have been called among the remaining files but who?  After you re-create the files in return locations, view the Favorites came back, but they are not the same ones that I saved.  This is... saved urls reach a file, while the view while recording the shows open links from another file to Favorites... so seekin paths, I found the sites y saved in the folder... //my documents / / Favorites/Favorites while the open window to view or select URL is in... //my... favorite docs.

  somehow, a few changes are reflected in both, but 'save' location is always special as 'Favorites' that appear when you click the Favorites 'tab.

  So what is it that? and how or where it my ' Favorites be only one's place these two shows and record them... the same one?

  The Favorites folder that will contain links in the Ie Favorites menu is C:\Users\\Favorites.  I have no idea the others came.  Is the color of the icon for this file blue or Tan?  If it's tan, then that's the problem.  It is not defined as the Favorites shell folder.  To fix this, go tohttp://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/90705-personal-user-shell-folders.html.  Even if it is blue, do the process anyway to reset.  Then restart.

  So the trick is to move the contents of all other folders (if all goes well, none of them are blue) in this folder (make sure it's the onne right now by testing with a few additions and deletions to ensure that changes is done correctly) without losing the information in the process during the removal of duplicates (which shouldn't happen (, but can happen).  I copy the right folder to completely separate on your disk as a backup in case where we do not delete the entries somehow (Yes, yet another folder, but we did and that we know will not cause this type of problem).  Since we do not know how they were created, it is difficult to determine exactly how to combine them again.  And then there is the problem of many duplicates.  This is a free trial of the software to find and remove duplicates: http://www.zultrax.com/finddoublefiles/.

• My documents, backups and favorites are now in my pictures folder. How reverse whateve I did it and get it back to normal?

  I did some looking around inside the 'computer' on my windows machine 7.  I clicked on network just to see what it was, and something began to happen.  Now, my documents, my excel spreadsheets, backups, and favorites are appearing in my photo folder.  How to make?  Removing them and sending them to the trash gets rid of them permanently and I don't want to do that.  I want to just only my images in the image file and only my documents in the documents folder.  Help, I'm not real smart PC then wouldn't someone to tell me how to get this back to normal.

• How can I get the favorite folders to show up?

  In my folder on the left side list, display all records. I know I can get TB to view just my "Favorites" folders by going to display. Files, but it seems I can't * be * show just the Favorites, * or * everything. I would like the display to look like Outlook for example all records, with the Favorites in a small pile at the top at the same time. Is this possible?

• favorite folders no longer work after upgrading 31.5.0

  I have a few files that have different subfolders. These have been created through the filters of gmail. Some of my subfolders marked as Favorites, some are not.

  The new, embarrassing behavior after the update is that umbrella, or superfolders, records appear in the Favorites panel, even if they are not marked as Favorites.

  It's cluttering up my favorites list because some of my favorites are actually sub sub-sub-folders.

  I found a solution. It turns out that there are two ways to view favorite folders. I was in "Favorite folders", but I had to be in "Favorite Folders - View Compact," to things like what I was used to.

• My two 'Favorites' folders have become different. I'm worried and how

  I thought as the 'Favorites' folder under library "Documents / My Documents/favorite was just a mirror of the Favorites folder copy real slot" users/David (that's me) / Favorites. "  But mine are very different.

  I tried to sort the items in one of the favorite folders, but I guess I don't know that I actually changed until I suddenly discovered that they are now both quite different.  Important to me that they are different, and how can I get them back to being the same?

  Which shouldn't be the case either.  On a Windows installation, the favorite folders is normally lies in the "username" folder, such as your forces be something like c:\users\sabredave\favorites

  But it is little matter, all you are concerned about now is fixing.  In this case, you can just drag - drop where you want it either, or even delete one you don't want.  One inside your username folder is used by your operating system when you add a favorite (bookmark) in Internet Explorer.  One inside the Documents folder might have just an error, a wrong file copy job, or even just a mistake with a drag-and-drop at one point.

  OK, here are three solutions I tested, everything seems to work in my copy of vista.

  The simplest: take the "places bar editor" from here: http://melloware.com/download/

  Moderate: use TweakUI, the utility of windows XP.  You have to jump through some hoops so he can work on Vista, but it seems to work fine.  Follow the instructions in n8barber a few posts down: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-help/700353.htm

  More difficult: change the registry.  I added the string using a single-in the path, but somehow, when I exported it I show a double.  I guess you have to play with that.

  They are sitting under the Firefox bookmarks folder "from Internet Explorer". Double movement necessary.
  I don't want to have to go through this folder. I want to put my favorites of IE DIRECTLY folder under bookmarks.

  Favorites of IE that are imported when you install Firefox or when you use the import menu of the library item, they are in their own separate folder named In Internet Explorer. You can remove this folder before you can continue.

  When you export to IE Favorites in bookmarks.htm file IE format > import & export the menu item, and then import this file into Firefox library window (from the item show all bookmarks menu) > import and backup-> import-> HTML file HTML - these bookmarks are merged with the existing Firefox bookmarks, they are not in this separate file.

  But, in my Firefox, after you click "choose...". "a large rectangle with folder tree appears immediately below the drop-down list, separately from him. If you don't see any, you have a problem. It can be caused:

  by userChrome.css (rename to userChrome_renamed.css)

  by Firefox theme (try using the default theme: Tools-> Addons-> themes)

  by an extension (try disabling all the or one by one: Tools-> Addons-> Extensions)

• Why Firefox will automatically open a new tab and go several times to the same specific web page? I don't have this Web page in my "Favorites" folders

  I have my browser open, work writing / reading email and BOOM, another tab opens and it's always the same web page. Why Firefox opens a new tab without any input from me? I don't have the suspect web page saved as a "favorite."

  I also have the problem. in my case that it is caused by an add-on, I installed recently. name of the add - on's Personas Rotator. I have just to disable the add-on and everything back to normal. just check your recent module, disable it and see if the problem persists.
