Partition not listed do not

(MacBook Air, El-Capitan)

Recently, I used Windows Boot Camp to create a partition and make Windows usable on my iMac 10...

I decided to do my MacBook Air, and it worked, until I discovered that the new - Windows - partition does not appear when you set up Windows. Now, I have a drive hard 128 GB of diving with only 60 GB of usable space.

I checked the disk utility, it showed that my drive hard 128 GB had a partition which consisted of 60 GB of SPACE.

Help, please

I tried to boot into recovery mode and looking at the partitions, no help.

  • Qosmio G35-AV600: using Recovery CD I get partition not created error

I recently ordered a recovery for my Qosmio G35-AV600 disc, because I started in safe mode to clear an alleged threat. Silly me! I forgot the password because I constantly use the fingerprint reader. Well, at the time where, that drives recovery came, I had remembered a password and access I.

The thing is I always want to format the laptop, but I get partition not created not errors. Is it because the laptop hard drive has SATA or RAID capabilities, or because of the so-called Qosmio player. * If I could format the hard drive, I would not be able to use the laptop Qosmio mode? *

I searched here and even contacted the customer service and have not found a definitive answer. Customer support's solution was to send to an authorized repair shop. My experience with computer repair shops, is that if the problem is not hardware related, they simply reformat the disks. I could do it myself if I could get help with this "partition has not created" or the partition not deleted"errors.

    Hello

I agree with you and I also think that this has nothing to do with the hardware failure.
But who knows, if you started the operating system in safe mode then we shouldn't exclude the hardware problem (IE. HARD DRIVE).

However, the restore CD contains already all the drivers and you n t need to install SATA or RAID drivers.

In my opinion, there are bad RAID settings in the BIOS!
Please check the settings in the BIOS on the third page.

If you know n t that mean simple settings, you open the user manual and check RAID chapter in the user manual.

table of partition not valid-how can I solve this... cannot do anything on laptop

If you get an error about "Can't fixboot", then proceed to the next step.

Type bootrec /fixboot (with a space after bootrec) at the command prompt, type enter.

Type bootrec /RebuildBcd (with a space after bootrec), and then press the Enter key.

If this is not successful, it is likely that the disc is not recoverable, and you will have to boot from the recovery disks to reinstall windows.

  • Can we import data from partition to a partition not table table?

    Hello

I have partition table export dump.i want to import the table into the table to partition not... is it possible?

    Thank you
    Yusuf

Yes. Just pre-create the table partitions WITHOUT in the system that you want to import. Then start the import operation with ignores = (ignore existing objects). To import the rows in the table, and since it is not defined with partitions there is no partitions.

  • Bootcamp partitions not bootable with iMac 2015

    Hi guys,.

I tried to install boot camp on my iMac (late 2015, Fusion drive) without success.

    • Download a picture ISO of Windows 10.
    • Point the wizard Boot camp on the image.
    • Create a partition for Windows.
    • Click install and wait until the end.
    • Restarting the computer but boots directly in OsX.
    • I can see that a new partition has been created with the fat. But it is not present when you start 'startup disk '.

All the tutorials and guides on the net seems to focus on the use of USB sticks to accommodate the installation of Windows, but I can understand, with the new iMacs installation of Windows is supposed to be hosted on an additional partition. I do not see such a partition.

Anyone have better luck than me?

Use the official guide Apple - https://help.apple.com/bootcamp/assistant/6.0/ .

You must make sure there is no storage devices external or connected hubs.

  • 4GB CF card in XP - type partition not there place and only 2 GB

    Hello

I have problems with my Toshiba 4 GB (Toshiba THNCF4G09QG) CF card in the PCMCIA (for IBM microdrive actually) adapter in my laptop.
I tried to format my Canon ixus 5 and XP pro (FAT and FAT32), and both show only 2 GB.

Under XP I then used the disk directors and I see 2GB FAT and 1.79 GB non-associated.
Under XP, I see in the hardware under attributes of the CF Disk Manager "type not usable partition.
Do you know a tool to format the way XP CF card?
    What could be the solution?

    Thank you!
    Chris

    Hello

In my opinion, it is not any kind of problem with Toshiba and you should check the adapter PCMCIA specification. Have you checked this with another card of 4 GB (non-Toshiba one)?

  • Z400 disks with EFI partition not mounting after the Windows 7 Pro upgrade

HP z400: after a repair/upgrade to sp1 of Windows 7 Pro (64), no matter what external disk with an EFI partition is not installed.  Player will be present in the BIOS and the management of drive, but without a letter. Cannot assign a drive letter.  All other discs mount correctly.  Disks with EFI partition will mount on other PCs.  All the drivers seem to be current and fuctional.

I thought about it... after two weeks of puzzle, I finally found the cause.

I run MacDrive 8 so I can play discs with HFS + formatting.  This program should be completely uninstalled and reinstalled after the upgrade.  I had turned it off before the upgrade, but it takes more than that.  Everything works now as expected.

But wouldn't be INCE if Windows reads discs mac natively?

  • Bootcamp partition not found...

    Hello

I am installing Win 8 on my iMac with OS X EL Capitan, but it is harder than expected...

I have the iso file to USB for Windows 8 64 bit, I start Bootcamp and I followed the directions for creating a partition on my hard drive, I number serial number, installation starts, but once it checks the partition where to install Windows it may not recognise and even if I format it does not work... here locked up the message that appears and when I stop...

someone has a similar problem or can support me with this?

    Thanks in advance

  • Impossible to split the partition not visible is (C) to a new system - 4 primary partitions

    Hello

TL; Dr. I'm probably stuck with 4 primary partitions (two WINRE, EFI and (C), and unable to split C on an installation DVD HP fresh system.

320 HARD drive failed on my G6 2233 HP laptop. I have fitted a replacement for 500 GB and does the following:

    • installed Windows 8 from the HP System Recovery DVD (provided by HP, not recorded by me, new facility)
    • deleted partition recovery with HP Recovery Manager
    • installed all the updates of Windows 8, and updates HP Support Assistant
    • upgrade to 8.1 Windows
    • installed all the updates for Windows 8.1 and updates HP Support Assistant

Went to the system partition tool, see 4 primary partitions created...

At this point, I was not aware, this can be a problem. I tried to split C as seen on the image. Has not been able to define the desired values (max stood at about two of equal size, because of ummovable files), but this was nothing new for me - on the previous 320 HARD drive that I met the same problem, I could (but COULD) make two of 14xGB were leaving.
Here I wanted to 120 GB and GB 344.
Anyway, even with different values I have a mistake in the next step, claiming that it has no place on the HARD drive.

So I decided to try the EasyUS software, as it has helped me in the past.
First screen is without any intervention (there are a bunch of weird music here, all created by HP software/operating system).

I could choose to reduce the size of the partition, but the ability to create from unallocated space was not active.

I'm confused. If I'm not mistaken, I shouldn't remove two WINRE and an EFI partition, but I either convert logical partition C (have no idea how, this option only is not active on EasyUS (could do that on my HDD USB drive), or remove one or more of the other primary partitions.)

Even if I'll find a way to convert logical C, which is safe, and that I should after D creation C back in elementary school?

I tried to play safe and let the HP/OS software do the work, and they left me with 4 primary partitions...

OK I found the guide which unfortunately is not sure... Any other ideas?

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/other-notebook-PC-questions/how-to-REPARTITION-HDD-of-HP-notebook-with-...

Unfortunately, they seem to have different names... Probably do similar things, but could someone just highlight is the partition EFI HP as mentioned in the guide, tools etc.

I guess I should, after that installation of Windows 8 and deleting the recovery partition, create a new partition can and upgrade to 8.1... Would solve many problems, but I'm not sure it would work and really do not want to lose more than two days on this...

I solved the problem with reinstalling Windows 8 from the DVD, and then deleting the partition recovery and at this point to divide the C partition and finnally upgrade to Windows 8.1. It works, and it was the safest, but probably not the best way to solve the isue. Previously I installed Windows 8, deleted the recovery, improved to 8.1 and got 4 primary those linked above.., so that the difference here is divide and distributes itself in the intermediate stage...

Thank you for your interest and have a good year.

  • HP Envy X 2: laptop recovery partition (D) merged with another partition, not be able to create a recovery media

I have merged my restore partition HP with another partition I created. Data recovery files are still intact in the New Partition. I have not created a recovery media. When I tried to create the USB Flash Drive recovery using recovery HP Manager media, I get the message that "recovery partition does not exist. How to get again the merged recovery partition and create a recovery USB Flash drive. If simply copy data from recovering files to a USB flash drive will work as a Bootable media in the case that need if in the future.

@joy1964: should not have done that.  Messing around with the OEM partition somehow good enough recovery ensures it won't work not later, when you need it.

Personally, I don't trust recovery integrated systems in any case.  You want to be able to recover from an image stored on a disk system large capacity Flash DRIVE or external.  In this way, if the disk fails, I can restore a functional system within minutes.

Consider using a third-party product known as Macrium Reflect this.

Macrium reflect (MR) provides a FREE version that can be used to image and restore partitions or drives together.

What I recommend is the following:
    (1) download and install Macrium reflect (MR)
    (2) run M. and choose the option: "Create an image of the partition (s) required to backup and restore Windows" to write a full backup to an external drive or USB key
    (3) use the option to create a CD or a USB startup key

NOW, you have the means to restore a full system that works for the external hard drive or USB key in a few minutes.

AND... you no longer have the recovery partition at all and can reuse that space for something else.

  • Data Tools HP partition not found

Hello. I recently installed Office 2010 on a new HP Mini. Intermittently the sessions of Outlook there is a window "HP Tools Data partition cannot be found". To close this window, freeze Outlook - cannot display messages in the Panel overview, or read emails or links in emails.

Is there a solution to this?

Not sure if it is connected, but whenever Outlook is launched, a window on HP Quicklook Add - In installed is also.

    Thanks for any help

If you do not use the glance, you can uninstall Quick Look of your system that would solve the problem.

Look: allows you to save valuable time by allowing you to view and edit your Microsoft Outlook data, including your email, calendar, contacts and information about the task, all without having to start your computer. Your changes are then automatically synchronized with your computer the next time it starts.

NOTE: I don't know if this software is compatible with HP Mini...
