Bootcamp partition not found...

Hello

I am installing Win 8 on my iMac with OS X EL Capitan, but it is harder than expected...

I have the iso file to USB for Windows 8 64 bit, I start Bootcamp and I followed the directions for creating a partition on my hard drive, I number serial number, installation starts, but once it checks the partition where to install Windows it may not recognise and even if I format it does not work... here locked up the message that appears and when I stop...

someone has a similar problem or can support me with this?

Thanks in advance

You have a Fusion drive? What is "the Unita 1' disk?

  • Bootcamp is not found on stratup disk and cannot be started

    Hey everybody,

I have a bootcamp with windows 10 running on my imac with OS 10.11.1. Until today although I could not see the partition on the boot drive I could start after restartig and pressing ALT... However, as I was running out of space for windows, I decided to create a second exFat of partition for windows with disk utility usage... After you have created the new partition successfully, I don't see the partition bootcamp anywhere except on the tab on the disk utility partition. I tried to erase the new partition but I can not boot my bootcamp partition... Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Of Boot Camp: resize the Windows partition.

  • Bootcamp partitions not bootable with iMac 2015

    Hi guys,.

I tried to install boot camp on my iMac (late 2015, Fusion drive) without success.

    • Download a picture ISO of Windows 10.
    • Point the wizard Boot camp on the image.
    • Create a partition for Windows.
    • Click install and wait until the end.
    • Restarting the computer but boots directly in OsX.
    • I can see that a new partition has been created with the fat. But it is not present when you start 'startup disk '.

All the tutorials and guides on the net seems to focus on the use of USB sticks to accommodate the installation of Windows, but I can understand, with the new iMacs installation of Windows is supposed to be hosted on an additional partition. I do not see such a partition.

Anyone have better luck than me?

Use the official guide Apple - https://help.apple.com/bootcamp/assistant/6.0/ .

If you do not use the glance, you can uninstall Quick Look of your system that would solve the problem.

Look: allows you to save valuable time by allowing you to view and edit your Microsoft Outlook data, including your email, calendar, contacts and information about the task, all without having to start your computer. • Bootcamp partition Windows will not start since WinUpdate

I'm working on a MacMini (mid 2011) on which a bootcamp partition has been installed. I had to work on windows update etc...

So I did update from our wsus server, and then restart Windows, windows no longer starts. There was a line of white underscore flashing on a black screen.

I tried to see if the Mac partition (10.7) was able to start. It has been altered too, but I was able to reinstall it.

To do this, I created a USB bootable key WIN10 (regardless of the Version of the OS in this case), I started on it to access the repair menu. Here, I opened the CMD and had results of the thesis:

I assumed it was due to drivers for windows compatibility. (something like record of $ $WinPEDriver), but no idea how to put them on my bootcamp partition, previously never worked with bootcamp.

I should also mention, I tried a classic Windows repair, he told me that my windows partition has been locked. I assumed it was a problem of version of bootcamp. I've updated everything on my mac partition, but he found no update for bootcamp. Right now I'm preparing a bootable usb key with both 'iso' and 'windows compatibility modules' activated with bootcamp assistant.

I don't know when it happens, but now, when I try to boot on my bootcamp partition, there are only blackscreen (not slider more). But also, my screen flashes as if he finally gets the signal just before the black screen.

    I need your help for:

-Fixed problem starting Windows partition, OR...

-Give me a way to get the activation key for the license of the installed windows (without starting it (if it exists)), so I can reinstall it correctly.

  • How to fix the fsck "your drive could not be partitioned..." Bootcamp does not

Hello, after days of searching for a solution and try several times to fix this, I write a question.

I want to create a partition with Bootcamp to install Windows 7. Here's what I made in the following order:

    1. Tried to partition with bootcamp, but he was only let me pick 32 GB or 1024 GB (which I did not available).
    2. Manually create the partition with utility disk and at the start of my flash, found that USB 3.0 drive / Bluetooth drivers don't would not load then ran in question where I couldn't go beyond 'select language' screen on Win 7 install.
    3. Tried to restart and delete my partition but noticed that I couldn't so I had to boot in recovery of the Internet and the use of the terminal commands and gpt, deleted the unused partition and used disk utility to merge it into main drive. I followed these instructions: deleted my bootcamp partition, but can not resize my osx partition
    4. Re-directed training camp and received the error "your drive could not be partitioned."
    5. Disc repair/check etc. ran and found errors.
    6. Run fsck by this thread that your disk cannot be partitioned. Win7 Bootcamp and still got here.
    7. Thought that maybe filevault caused outcome so disabled that. 48 hours later my 2.3 TB have been deciphered.
    8. Ran bootcamp, same problem.
    9. Run fsck, same problem.
    10. Currently using TestDisk to analyse the sectors on disk 1, correct? :

I'm ready to create another partition manual if I can get drivers USB/BT to work.

Furthermore, anyone know why there is a limit of 32 GB/1024 on the size of my partition for bootcamp? Why can't choose anything between the two?

  • Operating system not found, no boot device has been detected but can run XP in Bootcamp without problem?

The title says it all. I searched and tried the partial fixes to some of the questions.

I have installed Bootcamp and a working copy of XP Pro works no problem at all.

I installed VMFusion and merger goes to the partition, and I get the error no bootable devices and not found any BONES. It seems trying to boot from a network, it works to resolve a MAC address. Then he hangs on. Then don't say: "no found bone." I put the disc XP Prop and try reinstalling and it said: none found disk... I have attached a few photos.

    Thank you

Note: These senses are different which have already been posted so read and follow through... Note: These steps assume that you have a single Apple to default installation of Windows on a single Boot Camp partition and Boot Camp of VMware Fusion single default partition Machine virtual (without a snapshot *) and if you have changed the partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine to add additional hard disks to be virtual or RAW disk then do not use these instructions unless you backup the Boot Camp partition the Machine package virtual first. * Also note that Fusion 2.0.0 may accidentally have a snapshot with the virtual partition Boot Camp Machine and it should not have, then you should check to ensure that the condition does not exist as well. (With merger closed if the partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine package is over 1 MB in size, then you might have a snapshot in place and do not continue with these instructions.)

    ===

    1. If the merger is open, close it.

    2. in a Terminal (/ Applications/Utilities/Terminal) copy and paste command, as the following and then press Enter and it will delete the partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine of the metadata and the Virtual Machine to help.

Note: This does not affect the Boot Camp partition install windows in that it does not remove it.  Also be sure you copy all the command line below, as well as, "RM" at the beginning of the ' (quote) after the s in the Machines. "

    RM - dfr "/Users/$ the specified item was not found./Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines/Helper/naos-1.0.vmwarevm/vmware.log ' ~/Desktop/Helper_vmware.log

  • Bootcamp partition does not appear at startup

    Hello

I'm on iMac 27 inches, end of 2013, and I have a problem. A week ago I tried to clean my mac and start from the beginning. Because my mac has been very slow. Then I do what it takes. So, apparently, I erased all macintosh hd and leave bootcamp partition. So I used for a while because I was tired. And yesterday I don't know what I have everything in the bootcamp partition and recovery of mac has just finished after 4 hours I was relaxing and wanted to extend my bootcamp partition. I don't know how, I deleted both the partition boot and forcefully repeat thing of recovery for 4-5 hours. So now I mavericks, disc bootcamp as not a partition and a very weak internet because of the recovery. And cannot choose the startup as a bootcamp drive or can't do anything for the bootcamp partition disk utility... Can you help me? I'm sorry if I could not tell you very clearly

Off topic: should I upgrade to el capitan and yosemite? Or leave it as Mavericks?

    Thanks for your replies!

  • Bootcamp partition is not as boot drive, after running bootcamp to install Windows 10 on MacbookPro 15 "El Capitan running

    Hello

I'm trying to install 10 Windows on my Macbook Pro. I followed this guide, but I am stuck between steps 3 and 4. In disk utility, I see that the bootcamp partition is created, but it does not appear as boot drive. I also tried to start my mac while pressing the option key, but still it will not show.

See below for a screenshot that shows the current state of my machine.

How can I continue to install 10 Windows on my Mac?

Your BOOTCAMP partition internal not yet have Windows installed on it.  If you're between steps 3 and 4 (the installation procedure standard), your, assistant Boot Camp should automatically rebooting your computer after partitioning, from the installation media (Windows 10 CD), you must have created.  I assume that you already have a Windows 10 installation disk.  Make sure that the disc is inserted when you first enter assistant Boot Camp and you let the computer restart on its own.

Apple instructions are a bit vague (somehow I'm not surprised).
