  I have another scan which has two other columns, namely GOLD and LOANS. I want to calculate the total DISCOVERED + GOLD + READY.

  I'm on page 1 and passing the value G_DEPT_NO of the Application element .
  The problem here is, I don't get the point of Application inside the javascript function value.
  I tried to use alert(); and it gives me the undefined value

  I just want to know, How to pass the value of the Application in Javascript element.

  I'm not a Javascript expert, but the suggestin I did was because the javascript is a case-sensitive... language and thats why onChange is not the same thing as onchange.
  Not sure if this is causing the problem.

  Application elements not associated with a page and have therefore no properties user interface.
  So, as mentioned in another post, the rendering would not work for the elements of the application.
  If it is for a single item, used only on this page, you might create a hidden page element and use it fo your goal

  Yes, it's possible. Depends on what you are doing. Source value of the element can be a query, so if you have spent the value PK of a line in a table to the page, then the query source of this element could extract the line using this key and use the text value retrieved from another column to fill the text element.

  I need to know, is it possible to do the following.

  I have 4 buttons on the page as (Suspend, end, restoration, Add) and whenever you press a button and then MODAL_REGION will appear and I m using this javascript:openModal('Open_Page');

  within the action of the button - URL redirect for all the buttons. I did not create DAs for it as I create four DAs for each button.

  So my question is? I can pass the value in the code above. like javascript:openModal('Open_Page'); $s(P6_ITEM1,'S');

• I have a HTML5 form that sends a null (%) if the user does not have a choice. It works fine, but I get an error of W3c on the value of '% '. Is there another way to send a NULL value?

  I have an HTML5 form that allows the user to select 1 of 6 provinces of Costa Rica. If they do not select a Province, I use php code to send a NULL value and the other selections research of the form looking for all Provinces. If they choose a province, we are looking for database records that are found in this province.  Currently I use the value = '%' as the selected value if the user does not have a choice. It works and looks in all provinces, but I get an error of W3c checking on the value = '% '. Y at - it another way to send a NULL value.
