I have the creative suite CS4 Web Premium for my PC. I bought it directly from Adobe, not a reseller - forked so on a large sum of money. The product of love - use almost every day.

I recently turned to a MAC ProBook. I'd love to test my software on my Mac. I call Adobe to see if I can upgrade to CS4 Web Premium creative suite for Mac.

  • HP 8635: SAD for the POOR, SCARY, Customer Service

    First of all, I'm sorry this is a long assignment, but I'm a little worked up now.  I bought a new HP printer, I got HP printers for several years.  It was wireless and when I tried to use the CD that came with your printer, he asked for a file that says msg is on the CD supplied with the printer.  We could not find the file he was looking for so I contacted HP support.  I started to call at 13:00. The first question they asked me if I tried to do the installation myself (yes I did) and the following question was if I tried to use the CD that came with the printer (of course I did).   I gave control of person taking over my computer to get the problem resolved.  It took 1 hour and 10 minutes but got this computer to print.  I had a second computer that I wanted to also print from so I gave control of the support of my computer again.  It has been clicking around, I couldn't keep track where he went, but I don't know that he was in my network and sharing settings.  He said that the computer must be restarted, and he did that.  Trying to get to the top, I just couldn't past the sign of Windows on the screen.  I put my password and it would not go any further and he had a RED X on my network icon.  I could not in my outdated computer this stage.  He said there was a problem with MY internet, which was not possible as I could access the net on my other computer.  He said I had to contact Microsoft has nothing that could do.  I said that my computer was fine before he was clicking everywhere and they needed to solve my problem.  After about 45 minutes of discussion with them, I just finished the call.  Then, I had to take my computer to clips to see what was wrong.  When we got the outdated computer this stage, we couldn't get rid of the screen showing HP having control of the computer and there were still options NETWORK NO, it was as if it didn't exist.  The only thing we could do was to pay $110.00 a service for them to fix my computer.  Yes, I now have a year of service from them but I would not if HP had not messed up in the first place.  Staples had to do a system restore (I tried, but nothing but got error messages).  It took another 3 hours of my time for Staples solve all the problems.  I think that HP has to pay me back for that since it was their support staff who caused the problem in the first place.    Strange thing is that when I checked my email later in the evening, I had something Windows that my account had some strange activity.  There are 3 attempts to sign my account at 17:15 in Boston, which would have been my time 02:15, around the same time, I was chatting with them.  I'm on the West Coast for hummmmmm - I had lost confidence in HP at this point and if there is not a resolution for the invoices I've supported, this will be my last HP product.

    Update, I received an email from HP after my post.  They are working to solve my problem.  So far, I'm impressed by their response.  If he follows through, as I am told it will be, I'll be very satisfied and will continue to be a s Comsumer HP.

    For completeness, I'll give the full story here. We have a computer that is running Windows Vista Edition Home Premium. The other morning, following an update of Windows and reboot, when the user tried to connect it receives the message "user profile Service service has no logon. User profile cannot be loaded.

    We took the advice online to log in with an administrator account and change the parameter of the register for the profile, reseting certain values to 0. We have also followed the instructions to remove the ntuser.dat file. However, we have not find a file that was just ntuser.dat. They also had the long series of numbers after them, apparently, which indicates that they are temporary files.

    After several attempts to fix it, she now gets a different error when it tries to connect: "customer service group strategy was able to start.

    It can log on to the account in safe mode, and I can connect on his computer using his account from my computer on the same home network with no problems.

    We tried to copy the directory of the user to a new profile, except for the ntuser.dat file, as suggested by using Windows. It took a good 5-6 hours to copy, and the new profile seems to be heavily watered.     We have done sfc/scannow. He said that some files were corrupt, but he could not fix them. I couldn't understand what files it thought were corrupt.

    The Client Services group does not run when I see him the original profile in Mode safe. However, I don't know if it's supposed to be running in Mode safe or not. There is no way to start; to start or stop options are shaded out and unselectable. The Group Services Client IS running when I check with a different profile on the system.

    Would appreciate a fix for this, or at least a way to create a new profile that covers all sound settings and didn't result in a complete disaster.

    I think we have this resolved. Unfortunately, there was some steps as long as I'm not sure which were needed. It includes:

    (change of some registry entries for the profile)

    Uninstall of Symantec, which had an automatic scan which had been interrupted and was stuck not being able to complete or be cancelled.

    * The final bit of trouble who worked was (hope I get this right):
    (1) delete the registry as indicated above.
    (2) rename the profile folder.
    (3) restart the computer and let it create a new profile folder with the same name.
    (4) copy the files newly created to the old profile profile's ntuser.
    (5) by removing the new profile and rename the old profile back.

    And now things seem to be working, if she had to re-run Setup on some programs.

    If your card has been used fraudulently to subscribe, you should be able to get the charges reversed with your credit card company. Not to defend the whole Adobe Customer Service, but in this case Adobe has no way to tell if it is a fraudulent use.

    Tried new support chat online and found an individual who understood exactly what to do.

    For any other person with the same problem, here's what to do:

    1. Enter the serial number of the upgrade of the software (look for the green check mark)
    2. Select the product calling and enter the serial number of eligible product
    3. Software either active or generates an error message. If the error message, go to step 4
    4. Hit (ctrl + Shift + Double click left) - which launches the sequence of stimulus / response as follows:
    5. system creates a code of challenge you will need to provide Adobe with a customer service representative
    6. Adobe customer service will provide you with a response code that perfectly complements the software activation

    Sounds like you are trying to install with the ORIGINAL serial number provided with your product rather than the NEW one with the download.

    Adobe do support the last two versions (10 and 11) so if they have knowledge of 7 at all it's just a lucky accident...!

    Furthermore, I hope that you install on an old computer to Windows XP, because you won't get far in Windows 7 or Windows 8 with this version...

    Long story short, I would like to make a timeline, so that you can see how messed up you did gourmand to me.

    2-3 years, I got a used ps3 and it worked, it was one that you can play all the games of ps2 for ps1, long story short. they offered me a new ps3 (right WOOO!) for $100 $ turning mine. I said sure why not! It's great I grew up with Sony since the Ps1.

    7 last month or 8, could barely play ps3 cause I was in College full time, away from free time.

    I sit a day that the ps3 is upward, I ended up calling to see what is happening. They finished by telling me to format it, I did 3 times, same problem of gel ect. not really helped. When I called they told me this. "Oh you are out of warranty" I said ok, but I bought this brand new from you guys how can be like that? the person later told me the one that hurts the most... TADUM said 'No we sold you a refurbished PS3' I've never been so Livid. I decided to be profesional (I do service also good customer and never have I experience from this case, I thought that maybe it's just say be I should stop buying from them.)

    and here's the last number that all topped above all.

    Don't forget, I share this ps3 with my neighbore invades it and we play or he plays a versa, nether, less as the ps3 does not always leave my house. They me denied 2 times and had the biggest, worst customer service ever, I was called a liar, and it of not his fault, I bought this in error. When I do not accept that to buy it!.
