Password blackBerry Smartphones 8310 curve (vodafone)

Hello, I'm new to all this and my blackberry 8310, when I put it in my shows (qwas) password when he showed (*) before, and he used ACCEP, I have 2 tries to correct HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.or should I hit him with a hammer.

Thank you all in advance Geo...

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

You have stumbled into one of the most delicate things BBS. For security, you can assign a device lock password which, if your BB is lost or stolen, will take care of wiping the BB correctly clean once someone fails to enter the password too many times.

The BB keyboard is so small that each key has to do a lot of different functions, and they change according to different control keys (alt, caps, etc.). Therefore, when you created the password on the BB, you thought that you type one thing when you were actually typing something completely different. Now, whatever this modifier key is no longer in place, or is in place when it wasn't initially. So, what you type now isn't the exact password you created, even if it's the same keys you press.

With only 2 tries on the left, you have little time to try things. But you can try this:

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that this will reset your BB and keyboard than what it was when you created the password. You will immediately know if it works...

You can try the other control buttons to see what you may have used originally. But, once again, with only 2 tests left, you have little hope.

If you have attached to your PC ever and know how to type the password on the full PC keyboard can do now... the counter for the password entry is the same regardless of y enter on the device or via the PC. That resets the counter and give you more chances to understand.

Once you fail the maximum number of hours, your BB will be conscientiously wipe himself. When you do that, you need to restore your data from your backup... you have one of these, right? You treat your BB as the computer either, aren't you? Backups are not an option with computers.

If you do not have a backup, then you are going to migrate from the latter to the former in that old saying:

  • There are two types of computer users - those who have lost data and those who will do so.

Please do not use the hammer - like all computers, the BB is simply by doing exactly what you said to do.

Good luck!

Hello and welcome to the community!

BBs are very secure - only the password created by the user can unlock the BB. There is no password 'master' or 'ignore' to do so... only the password created by the user can do.

But, you can maybe in luck still... refer:

But other measures in these instructions are also important to... by the seller and the buyer. Not well fill ALL risks instructions making the BB not fully usable by the buyer (you).

Hello and welcome to the community!

If there is a latent policy, there is only one way to remove it... and while I can't tell exactly what you hear of "hard reboot", this probably isn't the appropriate method. To check, however, see this:

Of course, remember to take a backup before and after restore... but do not make big. One of the saved databases contains policy COMPUTER and, if you restore that, you'll be right where you started. On the contrary, only backup/restore these specific databases that need you, specifically avoiding those that relate to politics. I have try the backup via Desktop Manager, but only 200 contact that sync with my gmail had arrived at my computer and has no contact to yahoo. What should I do?

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

For backup of your contacts from your Yahoo account, you will need to disable wireless synchronization.

Go to contacts > Tap on the BlackBerry key menu > options > look for the e-mail account > tap on it, you will see the wireless sync if it is on you will see a control on the right uncheck it > click on the BlackBerry Menu button to memorize.

Then try to fill, save, & include backup - capacity storage media, before to set up your unit to the factory to add your new BlackBerry ID, wen you create your new BBID with a different e-mail account, you will need to go this account email & confirmed your email with the password of the BBID this wen so that you try to reset in the future he won't ask answer you the question of safety.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Curve 8520 (call and network problems)

    Hello

Recently, my BB Curve 8520 got damaged by water & with immediate support from a local vendor, it got fixed.

Just after 2 days, it has some issues of appeal & off-grid chess. To validate the question with the handset, I checked the SIM card even with other mobile & it worked perfectly.

    Now,.

Should I go to an authorized service center to solve this problem?

(If Yes, then please suggest a BB in Vadodara official service center.)

    OR

Do we not have an easy solution?

    Thank you

    Hi shahi_kailash

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Check here and locate the authorized Service Center near you, service centers for the BlackBerry Smartphones in India . But FYI as much as I know they will fix all the water damage to devices.

You can contact any local Mobile repair shop and see what they can offer. But more often in a water damage repair BlackBerry smartphone will cost a lot and you can't guarantee that it will work perfectly over a long period, you may experience the same problem right now or a new. So I think better to buy a new device or an opportunity instead of this unit damaged by the water.

    Note:

Some wireless service providers and third-party equipment manufacturers have processes called master reset, factory resetor master clear, which erases all the data and parameters for devices user non-BlackBerry carriers, restoring their to a 'factory' or 'out of box' State. The clear Pocket command performs this function even on a BlackBerry smartphone:

Maybe I do it by mistake!

Do you have BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) active on your account rather than BES (Blackberry Enterprise Service) - BIS is the customer service that allows you to add up to 10 personal email accounts.

If in doubt call your carrier.

  • Director of office of blackBerry Smartphones and Curve 8330

I just installed Desktop Manager 5.0 for my curve. The installation went well, and after it backs up, the curve works correctly. I wonder, however, if the Desktop Manager saved e-mails, MMS and SMS messages in a file on my desktop that could be retrieved and read later if necessary. I heard this answered both ways so far: Yes it did, and no, it's not. No one knows what is the real answer?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Well, two answers could be correct according to what you were doing. If you performed the backup, and then he did. If you have not run the backup, then it does not. If you performed the backup, then a file with an extension of the RPI could be saved to your PC - search your entire hard drive for *.ipd and see what you find. I have not apploader on my PC if this is helpful to all.

If you have installed, your PC, the desktop software and/or a bundle of BONES for your BB, then you apploader. Reference:

But, to start your diagnostic efforts, I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

If there is no Safe Mode, I suggest that you test to see if your battery is causal. Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must be directly connected to a charger checked (not PC USB, not a docking station):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens.

Otherwise, then you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

  • Password blackBerry Smartphones Desktop Manager

My Dexktop Manageer software does not accept my password.  I guess I don't know what password they ask.  I tried my phone password, my password Blackberry and even a few random that I use for other applications.

Thanks for the tips.  I disabled the password to my phone and now I can use the software.  That won't be a problem, turn it off for my synch.  I'm thinking of getting a new phone and wanted to back up my data before buying. A small question.  When I first bought the phone and used the Desktop Manager, it asked for the password, and then remembered?  Or he reads my password of my phone.  The reason why I ask is because I've changed my password several times since my purchase and I was wondering if it was reading an old password.  This problem is during the month, but I never had the time to remedy.  Thanks again, and I consider that this problem should be solved.

  • Button blackBerry Smartphones BB Curve 8320 unexpected behavior

    Hi community

I now own a BB Curve 8320, which arrived March 7 th 2010 with OS v4.2.

Having previously & successfully upgraded the OS on my BB 8310 curve which has an expensive screen problem, I downloaded OS v4.5 for BB Curve 8320.

    I used this download: 8320EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel108_PL2.7.0.78_A4.5.0.81_Voda_Australia

Everthing seems to work very well; the OS upgrade completed successfully and before & after reloading the data from Outlook I could access the menu via the Menu button & do what I needed.

However, after some time of operation (i.e. on 1 or more hours), random unit see the menu when I press the Menu key and I can't answer calls by pressing the Green Telephone button.

Instead, this key and a few others will produce strange characters (e.g., Yi) in applications that can accept text, or does nothing.

I tried to help me with this problem by making a following and after:

    Battery grips.
Hold the alt key, then press and hold SHIFT to the right, then press DELETE.
Reload the OS after the failure with JL_Cmder v1.9.1

I have read on this forum or on crackberry that I should consider the moisture under the keyboard and then proceeds to remove the battery and SIM and SD card then proceeds to the hair dryer the unit for a short period.

RESULT = everything works again for a short while (a few hours), then it will repeat the above behavior.

I'm a bit there is a simple fix of BB Curve 8320 or setting changes that I'm missing.

The 8310 has been solid on the performance... and honestly that miss me.

Please put me out of my misery.

    Who is blessed,

    Hello community,

After trying my own idea and add some silica GEL for the bowl to rice taking into my BB Curve 8320 & leaving for 2 days, I took out the camera fed up and had a brainwave.

I occurred to me that since this routine 'your BB dry' had not given a complete solution, while it was time to open the unit and correct what was going on inside.

So... on March 15, I found a local repair shop, said the problem, as well as to what this forum (thanks JSanders) suggest that he was wrong and ignored the diagnostic charge.

Finally, there is some minor corrosion under the keyboard, which he corrected and cleaned up.
I asked the tech if I took the phone to him at the time, and he said yes, that I didn't have to worry.

So now, I have a BB Curve 8320 with interchangeable spare parts of my BB Curve 8310.

    CONCLUSION.

I think that rice and the desiccant, drying methods are best used to DELAY the progression of moisture damage.

However, if this does not solve the problem... then you must go into the unit. (i.e. you or a tech)

Don't get too long..time is essential due to the miniaturization of circuit traces are very small and corrosion can quickly make the device unusable.
