Update Windows 10 has been declined through process going... back to Windows 7 and now the password doesn't work.
Windows 10 upgrade decreased original title
Hi Porter,
Thanks for posting in the community.
We are happy to help you to provide the necessary assistance to help solve the problem.
Before I continue, I would like you to provide the information below:
1. do you have an error message when the installation failed?
2. How have you tried to install Windows 10, via the update or ISO file?
3. do you get an error when you enter the password?
For now, if you own or have a Windows 7 installation disc, I recommend that you follow the steps below to make the Startup Repair.
To use this method, you need to restart (boot) your computer using the disc or USB flash drive.
Insert the USB flash drive or Windows 7 installation discor a system repair disc, and then turn off your computer.
Restart your computer using the power button on the computer.
When you are prompted, press a key, and then follow the instructions that appear.
In the page install Windows, or on the System Recovery Options page, choose your language and other preferences and then click on Next.
If the page install Windows or the System Recovery Options page appears, and you are not prompted to press a key, you may need to change some settings of the system. To learn how, see start your computer from a disk to install Windows 7 or USB flash drive.
If you use the installation of Windows or the USB flash drive disk, click repair your computer.
Select the Startup Repair tool , and then click on Next.
In the System Recovery Options menu, click a tool to open it.
Hope this helps

After that I upgraded my Mac OS to 10.10, PhotoShop was no more working. The rest of the Adobe design Premium CS5.5 programms were still working. To resolve this problem, I have re-installed PS now it works, but only in the trial serial number of "Adobe design Premium CS5.5 ' is not valid. No idea how to solve this problem. Adobe customer service can't help. When I installed Adobe design Premium CS5.5, initially, I had the same problem with Acrobat ProX; to make it work, Adobe had to provide me with a number of additional series for this program.

Windows Media Center could not update Playready after that kb3004394 has been installed.
Windows Media Center could not update Playready after that kb3004394 has been installed. I then uninstalled kb3004394 and tried everything I can find on the web for difficulty playready including this procedure
http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-pictures/PlayReady-update-was-incomplete/8119d0a8-6106-489D-B5CB-4979a6a9ad0e
and this procedure

Nothing worked and I'm pulling my hair out. I use WMC with an HDHomeRun and a map of Time Warner cable. This facility worked well for more than a year before installing this update. The machine is a Dell XPS 8300 running windows 7 SP1. I'm unable to watch all channels protected by DRM and I lost all my legally registered content. It is a disaster and cost me 30 hours and counting. Anyone have any ideas?
I don't know your problem, but 3004394 has caused a lot of problems for a lot of people - https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_update/windows-update-kb3004394-issues/ace25277-7f65-4486-bc44-c1b106907a18.
Microsoft have apparently released an update of replacement/deletion for it - https://support.microsoft.com/kb/3024777?wa=wsignin1.0
But to a few other posts on this forum, it seems to fix everything for everybody. If all goes well it can help you.

I am running Windows 7 Professional. I have a piece of equipment that has only Windows XP drivers, I desperately need to work. I read up on top of the virtual systems and XP mode.
When you run XP mode USB ports will not accept XP drivers or if they remain Windows 7? Should I really go to a Dual Boot System?
Thank you
Andrew
You must attach the USB device to Virtual PC XP Mode: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824369

Check to see if both SPS is installed:
Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.
It will also tell you which SP you have installed.
Then, choose the download of 'bit' OK to use to install Service Packs, installation of SP1 first if it is not already installed.

My husband spilled a soda on her new laptop that has installed windows 7. The computer is fried. I have a laptop, only a year older than his, that we think of wiping and installation of windows 7, as we love windows 7 better than vista. When we are no longer able to use the soda machine killed, is there a way to get that license windows 7 installed on my laptop more still functional old? When we arrived the laptop with windows 7 on it, she had no records, best buy just installed everything for us. Any clue?
If this laptop was supplied with Win7 this win7 license lived and died with this laptop.
Software OEM is not transferable to a new PC, only commercial versions of software can be transferred/installed on a new PC

password not accepted after that laptop wakes from sleep
When my laptop is on battery power and idle for a while, it goes into sleep mode. When I want to start working again, Windows does not accept my password. I need to change username, then click on my profile (which displays LOCKED) and only then Windows accept my password.
After doing a search on the net, I see other Windows 7 users have the same problem...
Hi Sean, the problem may be that the NumLock key is on in your profile.
Try this. Hit the key Windows and r and type regedit and click ok. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard and locate the InitialKeyboardIndicators value. DoubleClick on it and change the value from 2 to 0. Click ok and restart.
Let us know if this helped.

Hi Natrezim,
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
According to the request, I understand that you are unable to connect to your computer, because the password is not accepted. I appreciate your efforts to solve this problem.
To help solve your problem better, could you give us the following information?
- Do you receive an error message when you enter your password?
- What is the standard account or an administrator account?
- You have another user account on your computer?
If so, then I suggest you log on to the other user account and change the password of the account that you are unable to connect to and see if the problem still persists.
To change the password of the user account follow the steps below.

Hello
I had a hard drive crash and had a new hard drive installed. At the end of the recovery process, I was asked to answer questions such as the choice of a language. I also had the opportunity to put a password in a homegroup. Not entered a password. BIG MISTAKE. I can't reach my home group now because I do not have a password. I don't have the ability to change the password that I never entered one in a first time. Unless someone can help me, it seems that my only option is to make the process of recovery everywhere. My concern, there is that I won't be able to download Microsoft Office almost again because it won't let me this time. I activated once and he didn't allow me to activate again. But he did. I think that he won't let me activate a third time. Can someone tell me where I can go to add a password to my homegroup. No help from HP or Microsoft Windows has been useful. I have Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium.Hi kschoff.
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
From your description, I understand that you are unable to add a password for home group after that Windows set up was complete.I suggest you create a new group home and check.
Follow the link that will help you create a new group of home.

How can I delete the file Win 7 after that my PC is to go back to XP?
I went back to XP on my HP Pavilion s7410n PC after that Windows 7 upgrade did not work. My PC works well with XP again, but how do I get rid of the Win 7 file that takes up space? How to remove files and protected files? I tried to remove it, but I tells me access denied.
Thank youGwenHello
Try to delete the files and folders using check and disk cleanup if it helps. Disk clean up will help you remove unwanted and unused files, folders, and programs.
