• Dreamweaver cs3 - CSS not made when opening pages - please help!

  I use Dreamweaver CS3 and have built a certain (low) sites previously so not a perfect beginner, but am totally thrown by my CSS does render does not correctly in a new site I am building.

  I've implemented a new model, all work very well, full CSS included, noticed in the browser ok.

  Then created 2 new pages from this model "Aug.html" and "Oct.html" and recorded the two - both pages contain a link to the other and both preview in the browser on their own.

  However when I click on the link on the page is, not moving no matter what page I start with, the result is the same, the new page that opens seems to forget half of the CSS, div completely and links are back to blue and underlined, everything is changed as if there is no CSS at all.

  Why does the CSS work here? I've never had this problem before, the CSS is simple, I have about 6 div contains everything, including a #wrapper. the body tags and one: links preview all fine until I click and the new page that opens loses its CSS. There is no accessibility / compatibility or upcoming issues.

  Please help - have tried a lot of different things, now I'm completely lost! I know it must be simple, but I really can't find a reason why, really need help with this.

  You need to refer to what happens when you PREVIEW a page in DW, is - that correct?  In other words, get you an overview of the page, click on the link to page B and page B will appear without the CSS - correct?  Here's why-

  Your link to the style sheet is a link to the ROOT (see the first "/"?).  When loading the B page after clicking on the link in the first page, it tells the browser to find the style sheet to "C:/2012LG_CSS.css" because the browser has NO idea where the root of the site DW is and assumes that the root in the link refers to the root of the hard drive.  Normally, you would not use relative links root, unless there is a good reason to do so-in your case, I am sure that you do not have.  Edit this link to a document a relative, i.e.

  In General, it is not a good idea to click outside any page viewed when using DW.

  If your computer is on a workgroup, you have the ability to turn password protection on or off. Disable password protected sharing on the computer that is connected and check if you are always prompted for a password.

  1. open the network and sharing Center by clicking theStart button, clicking Control Panel, click network and Internet, click network and sharing Center.

  ·        Click the arrow next topassword protected sharing, and then click turn off password protected sharing

  2. click onapply.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  Note: If you change the password on one computer, you will need to change it on the other computer as well, otherwise you will again be asked a password.

  I'm sorry to hear that you are not able to use your cell phone... Well well... like a cell phone.

  I suspect the 'texts' you send and receive through iMessage, not your cellular service provider network. When you look at the top left of the screen, it does not say 'search' or does it see the connect to your provider's network?

  I have a strange Req where the client wants a two new fields (news, URL) on the new Applet on the Home Page that can store text data.
  
  The problem is that these data are not related to any other entity. From now on, I've implemented functionality by extending the S_USER table for two new columns. But I am in real doubt on this approach because of these two reasons:
  
  1. whenever I create a new Record in the news and URL fields, all the required columns for the S_USER must be filled with values. That sounds weird because it will have to fill it with some dummy values.
  2. Secondly the S_USER table is used by the other British Colombia which will result in corrupted data that we fill in dummy values in the table S_USER.
  
  Can someone suggest an alternative approach where I don't have to deal with two problems above?
  Is there any other table that I can extend that will not suffer my changes.

  There are several ways you can address the issue based on the customer's requirements:
  Scenario 1:
  News and URL fields are unique for all users.
  Steps to follow:
  1 S_USER_PROF table to store the details of NEWS and URL areas by extending the table.
  2. create a new business component based on the S_USER_PROF table and map the necessary level required DB columns and your NEWS and URLS in the fields.
  3. create a link between the S_USER and business components. S_USER_PROF use S_USER field Id and the Parent line Id field in S_USER_PROF for the binding configuration.
  4. create a new applet and expose the fields required in the applet and put this applet in the display of the Home Page.

  Scenario 2:
  News and URL are not unique, and multiple users can have the same new data and URLS:
  In this scenario, you will need to create two custom tables, one for more information news and URL, and the other will be the table of the Intersection.
  Steps to follow:
  1. create two tables in Siebel Tools. Say CX_NEWS_URL and add the required columns. Then create Intersection Table CX_USER_NEWS. In this table maps columns USER_ID with foreign key as S_USER and news_id has been with foreign key as CX_NEWS_URL.
  2. create a business component based on the CX_NEWS_URL table and create a link with the user and your BC. Be sure to specify the Inter of Table and column details.
  3. then create an applet MVG of your new BC and a MVF in users of BC.
  4 display the MVF field in your custom UI cmdlet.

  I would recommend is not to create fake users because it can cause problems in maintenance, and also when the user wants to delete the record of news and URL there will be questions.

  Your real problem seems to be that your serial number is rejected. You really enter the correct serial number? The serial number is not the product code.

  This has been resolved, it was a previous render farm machine and it had an installed rendered text node, so if you have the same problem make sure that you clean your settings!

  We put an adapter on the hard drive, it is difficult to see just looks like it's all a part, you should be able to just pull the part plastic on the pins and that will let you plug your new case, I've experienced the same thing about 3 years ago, it really seems that it's just one piece...   I'll cut to the Chase... In particular (I say this because I think that is happening in the other color settings, just no where near as obvious) when I turn into a black and white photo of actually changing the toggle (not just by pulling on the saturation) it will straight not black and white, it's more than a sepia color. Yet when I export the same picture, it's clearly evident crisp black and white!
