Check if the default viewer is defined as the Windows Photo Gallery and also the jpeg, jpg, jpe file types have set of Gallery Windows as the default program to open with.

    1. Open default programs by clicking the Start button, click default programs.
      Default programs, click

  • Windows 8 file save the old operating system installed

Just called Microsoft supported and also Microsoft chat tech and they have no idea what to say.

    Long story short;

Had a HP TouchSmart and installed the beta version of Windows 8. Windows 8 Pro has purchased and installed. Everything was OK.

Bought a new Dell XPS 30 "all in one. It came with Windows 8, but I installed my copy of Pro on this subject. It's all working for a few months.

Yesterday, my system froze. I tried everything, checking virus, malware check, reboot, Windows 8 discount... No luck. It should boot to the Windows startup screen

but all the tiles would not become assets AND most of them where it's empty. Just got a screen frozen tiles colored white.

Last night so I did the drastic wipe and much time the fresh install disk. It starts fine, and now there are only a few titles on the splash screen now because of the new facility. I rebooted and he did all the current improvements. Everything was fine.

Now the nightmare... I did the restore files 8 widows in my external hard drive. All files loaded fine, but when I rebooted, the installation of Windows 8 old was back. I had all my tiles with icons or text... Just color, back to the same problem, I just spend the whole night to solve!

File Windows backup to copy system files and restore them? If so, how can I get my files personal return without defining the system to the way it was before the new facility.

    Confused and frustrated...

    peace,

    LD

I used the new file history Windows 8. I thought it was just my personal files. After the fresh format and new installation of widows 8, I did a restore of the history of the file. This has somehow installed windows that did not work properly.

I then tried to do a 'Refresh Install' and it gave me the Windows.old directory. I deleted that and, at least for the moment, everything seems to work.
I don't know what happened, but it was very strange...
Also for what it's worth, I wish history files would be to update only the changed files and not just copy everything. It eats quickly place and requires us to be always delete files. Thank you

  • The font size in windows Explorer

    Hello

Is there a way to increase the font size of the names of files that are displayed in windows Explorer and not the font size of all the other parts of windows [for example, links and the other parts of the entire operating system].

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Gary Tonsley

It shouldn't change all the text in the operating system when you adjust the font size of icon, but it will certainly adjust some other texts.  Things like menus and title bars remain the same (they have their own font size options), but yes: other parts were inspired by the icon as the base line for consistency.

  • Acrobat Reader DC on PC Windows 10 - bar of Menu font size too small

I recently installed Acrobat Reader DC on multiple windows 10 PCs and the font size of menu bar (File_Edit_View_Window_Help) is very low, especially for those with eyes 'old '. I am unable to find a way to change the font size for a easy display and work - is it even an option more?

    Hi crfugitt ,

Try to navigate to Edit > preferences > categories select 'Général' and for the option "Touch Mode" select "Always" from the menu drop down. Also the option "No scaling" of the grid of the screen resolution option.

Click OK, and then restart Acrobat Reader.

    Hello locness2411,

Have you checked your download folder? Also you can put where you want to save a file to the desktop as, for example. the net... I don't know if it works, but maybe it's
    worth a try:

    A. right click on Task Manager open the

The task in the menu Manager.

    B. click the tab process, along the upper part of the
    The Task Manager screen.

    C. in the process tab, select the corresponding button at the bottom
left of the screen that says "show processes of.

    F. click on this process. Click the end «»

    Confirm 'End process' if necessary.

  • Save the file as font size for the file name

I have a monitor resolution of 3840 x 2160 and for some time, using 150% dpi, but I loved how everything went wrong because of that and my second monitor is a 1920 x 1200, so everything went really wrong about that. so I changed the dpi at 100% and used the color editor and the appearance to change the size of the icons and the font size. but some policies do not always change. When I save a file, the file name is really small

and difficult to read. How can I change the size of the font for this without having to resort back to the ugly dpi of 150%.

some other small texts which seem not to be able to change the editor are like the taskbar menu, and launch the menu properties, msconfig and options in the menu to stop (from the task bar.)

    Hello

Sorry for the delay in responding.

Your user profile is a collection of settings that make the computer look and work the way you want. It contains your settings for wallpapers, screensavers, wallpapers, pointer preferences, settings of the sound and other features. User profiles ensure that your personal preferences are used whenever you log on to Windows.

You can create a new user account and check if that helps. If the problem does not occur in the new user account, you can transfer the files from the damaged to the new user account by using the article user account "difficulty a user profile is corrupted.
