It didn't, but I managed to get the correct installation of MS program using the identifier for the product that I found in the box.   Hooray, I could activate the office now. It is one of the first things I did after recovery.

  As planned, the Agency is not really preinstalled, and also not Acer eRecovery Mansgement is here. Probably because the w4 32 GB is not a proper recovery partition. I create a recovery disc after I finished installing all the updates and to remove the bloatware.

  Just curious, why is shiping Acer recovery dvd with a device that does not have a dvd player? If desired, I can describe how I managed to create a bootable recovery usb flash drive. Let me know.

• Problems installing the 4-DVD set 2013

  I am trying to install LabVIEW 2013, with the real-time Module, DAQmx and a few toolboxes Vision module, using a Kit of Distribution 4 - DVD.  I use the feature very attractive who appeared in the 2012 LabVIEW Distribution Kit - when you put it in the DVD - 1, it shows you all the available Toolkits and Modules.  You can check as many as you need, and he moved between them, apparently to 'DVD-order' (i.e. DVD-1, then DVD-2, then 3-DVD, then DVD - 4).

  The problem is that when you finish and reboot your PC, the Services NOR critics (who could have been present before installation) are missing, leading to a behavior very interesting, one-power-say "buggy".

  According to engineers of NOR, I'm not the only one who saw the specific results after installing LabVIEW 2013.  In my case, I installed LabVIEW 2013 on 4 PC, all with at least 2012 present LabVIEW on a previous installation (and work fine before installing LabVIEW 2013).  A PC continued to operate properly after installation of 2013, but the other three were absent OR Services.

  After some tests, I realized how to install LabVIEW 2013 to avoid losing services - simply go back to recommended practices OR installation, I used in most earlier versions of LabVIEW.  Instead of taking the 'shortened' to specify all the packages to install both, one-at-a-time installation packages, in the following order (at least, this prescription "worked for me") - LabVIEW, the Time Module, any Module, all Toolkits, DAQmx, and device drivers.  After that each piece is installed, allows the system to reboot if it is said that he needs to do.

  Watching the process carefully, I see that some installation steps "kill" LabVIEW services, but the subsequent reboot brings back them (and sometimes add new services).  I suspect that the method of the "all-at-once", which has only a single reboot at the end, somehow fails to resurrect killed service, leaving a paralyzed installation.

  Making an installation package is both slower, involves the exchange of DVD much more, but seems to work.  I sent my comments to OR, and they are working on the issue.

  OR just released update 1 for 2013 LabVIEW that solves the problem by doing an 'All-in-one' of 2013 installation, according to me.  In particular, he seems to reinstall the Service Locator Service.  I'm largely 'patched manually' most of my systems, but I think I've seen one of my non-working fixed PC.

He know that both my havn't 2010 SP3 Exchange Edge Transport server installed. But that's not true: SP3 is installed on both servers. How to Setup research version and why it might find old entries? And more importantly: How can I make sure that the Organization's Information contains the build good level of Edge Transport servers? I hope that exchanging 2013 in the end is not as Buggy and frustrating as this never ending "can not install because ' Business.

  All of a sudden NI Max stopped working on one of my development machines. Wont start, it goes directly to the journalist of Crash NI MAX. Exception: Access to EIP Violation (0xC00000005) = 0x6AC6DD70

  I tried to reinstall NI Max (by Installer configuration system). I uninstalled all the software of NOR and reinstalled. I reinstalled Visual Studio 2010 (which was on the computer). I searched old files pdm.dll, is the most in 2009, but most are from 2013.

  The computer is a virtual machine (vmware fusion) running Windows 7. NI MAX version is 5.6.0f0 and the rest of the software NOR were versions of 2013.

  I also have another virtual machine with the installation of 2013 and the same version of NI MAX I get the same error here. My 2015 machine works well with MAX OR commissioning without problems.

  Two machines that will not start on MAX worked without problem for a few years, it emerges just yesterday.

  Anyone have come across this and have an idea of what to do?

  After other started applications failing as well, I found a trick that might help to upgrade vmware tools to the virtual machine.

  He did, and now its working again.

• Recovery disc for a pre-installed Ubuntu 14n (only) flag

  I bought a HP Pavilion 14-n258tx Notebook PC provided with Ubuntu preinstalled OS. A DVD of Windows 8.1 bought separatel with 8 GB of memory.

  I've manually updated Ubuntu to 14.04 faithful version. I created a new partition and loaded Windows 8.1. The laptop doesn't have a touch screen support. However, I do not use the 'Metro' Windows 8 features. My tablet is for that. There are a few features provided with Windows 8 "non-metropolitan" mode and I pretty much enjoy using 8.1 exclusively in mode "W7". I want to get out of dependence on Windows but appreciate having a Windows backup with the new unix environment.

  The BIOS has been F66 of Windows.  Update drivers through Windows via the HP support was simple. There was a problem with the Intel graphics before 2013-11-25, Version10.18.10.3325, updated 158,03 M always on the HP site. Graphical display would turn and the movement of the mouse was "sticky". An e-mail, I managed to come back from HP support that somewhere might suggest only there could be a problem with my system fan. Be sure to get updated 04/10/2014 of Intel 10.18.10.3907 now available via Windows update, which issue is resolved. Missing NVidia drivers are on the HP support site. I adapted my missing Bluetooth drivers to the preinstalled Ralink wireless driver.

  In the off topic about the Intel graphic display bug which results in putting on and off the screen (she came back! again), I guess its due to some incosistency between graphics and power features. Unfortunately, prevent the Windows driver updates prevents all updates driver that allows me to remove Windows Intel/use generic display make it impossible to solve other problems of driver (such as USB network emulator) and I had to disable the Intel graphics card so NVidia will not find his companion and I get just Windows base.   It seems that your Wacom tablet.  Why wacom has not been clearly identified was probably because the pilot has not been checked in time.  You can check by checking all the drivers (which will slow down the computer a little), but it should confirm the issue.

  All three DMP show wacom in the default bucket at the time of the accident and he returned an inconsistent state with what was expected.  I'd like to see if there is a newer driver, correction or updating.

  I recently had to perform a refresh to solve the problem with desktop on the desktop icons that appear as spaces. After the update, I had to reinstall the update for Office 2013. When I went to Windows Update to do this, I found it with a group of 9 other updates, these 9 were all marked as ready for download and installation, Office 2013 update is not checked. I disabled the office 2013 update and not the other 9 updates, thinking that I could make those after I had Office installed upgrading so I would like to know if my taskbar icon problem has been resolved. At the bottom of the screen even when the Office update was the only update checked I chose to install updates. The Surface actually installed all updates, not only the update of Office.

  Is there a way to control which Windows updates are installed in fact at some point? Unchecking them made no difference.
