  I have a HP Pavilion DM4 1100sa, p/n: XE139EAR #ABU, a serial no: CNU1220Z75. I bought it about 2 weeks ago. Shortly after he stopped hibernating when I closed the lid and the fingerprint reader was also very intermittent, also error message unable to start Bluetooth stack service popped up after the computer has been rebooted and after startup of Internet Explorer... My own attempts to remedy that does not so I called your 0844 3690369 number and possibly your man said that the only option was to do a complete restore of the system. For this I made and then reinstalled my commercial software such as M/S Office 2010, Adobe Photoshop elements 9 etc.

  The error (see above) again reappeared and the fingerprint reader was still intermittent, also my Bluetooth mouse is not connected. Yet once, my own attempts to cure these problems have failed, including playback of your pages in the forum, so I phoned again, everything seems to be resolved but the initial problems and the subsequent, reappears.

  So I made an another System Recovery on Thursday, July 26, 2012. I did a full defragmentation and wiped the free space on the hard drive. This time, the only problem that occurs is the error message failed to start Bluetooth stack service. Yet once it appears only after a computer reboot and start Internet Explorer.

  I am very reluctant to spend another hour, or so, on the phone so I want your best and hopefully correct advice on how to avoid this very annoying message from popping up.

  We will not install another driver for this device instead.

  Have you installed third-party maintenance utilities?

  If you clean boot http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796 (the manual method not the Fixit) does make a difference to the addition of a device?

  I seldome use features wireless to my pc before, but now that I have the wireless router I frequelty use it. Usually, I turn on the wireless switch and turned off to save the battery. I noticed every time I turn on the radio, after a few minutes, that an error message is displayed:

  Access your product download page and reinstall the software for bluetooth under networks:

  then, under network connections in the network and sharing window - see if you have a bluetooth adapter that is listed.  If you do not use bluetooth, you can turn it off or you should be able to set it up properly.

  If fails it then in Control Panel, under administrative tools, Services - locate service BTtray and disable it.

  I recently bought the HP 15-D103TX which took place at the origin of FreeDOS on it. Now, I have upgraded the OS to Windows 8.1 and have installed all the drivers I found on the page of the official driver for this laptop. But I was unable to find the drivers for my HP 15-D103TX bluetooth. I found a driver posted on this forum, but even after installing it, I was unable to find any bluetooth device, even if my mobile was able to find.

  I think it's a driver problem, so I would really appriciate if anyone could chip and point me in the right direction.

• MacBook can not find bluetooth devices

  I just bought a new Macbook.  He can not find bluetooth devices.  The device is fully charged and so forth.  He saw the mouse for a fraction of a second, but then he fell.  I tried other bluetooth devices.  It does not find.

  I had this problem too, turn on the Macbook and off is your best bet. But if this does not work, you can go into the settings of your macbook. Settings - Bluetooth - advanced and ensuring that all things have been checked. Hope this helps, good luck to you.

  When I try to enter some sites I get the error message: unable to find the proxy server, Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is not found.   Set not to use any proxy.

  I found only a display for a Satellite L25 Pro but I guess that the two devices are very similar and use the same part of the screen.
  The display part number is K000000620 and it s a 15 XGA 1024 x 768 display.

  I am the owner of a Toshiba Satellite A210 - 11K and I remember having an internal bluetooth listed as one of its specifications when I went to buy.
  I can't find Bluetooth ACPI from Toshiba-> system devices-->--> Control Panel Device Manager.

  This necessarily mean that I don't have a bluetooth adapter that is installed in my laptop?

  You are right. If the system does not detect the device "Bluetooth ACPI", no Bluetooth module is connected to the system.

• Error BTTray: Unable to start Bluetooth Stack Service

  I have an Envy 17 3D (product number: LV045UA #ABA). Recently, shortly after startup, I get an error to the effect that there is a BTTray error as it is unable to start bluetooth stack service.

  I use a Bluetooth Logitech mouse and the mouse continues to work. Befire I started having error, periodically that the mouse could be suddenly disconnected and I must initiate a discovery of the mouse with the Bluetooth discovery mechanism.

  Usually after the rediscovery of the mouse, I would have no other episodes for several days with a new day evey bootup. The error is only a recent development, but the episodes of disconnecting long enough.

  I'm not even sure that the two are linked, and I watch inconsequential number BTTray. However, I want to solve this problem of BTTray error until something of consequence occurs.
