  Hello.

  I got a little confused on which version of the tools DPS that I need to install on my computer to make sure that everything is compatible.

  I work for a large company and we have different magazines by using different versions of DPS.  I need to download and publish a folio to another office.

  Is it important that they use a different version of the DPS tools? (They built the app for R23 R23 tools and I create a magazine using R21)

  I do update my tools to ensure that everything is compatible or can I download and setting the folio generator to create a folio R23?  I will not change any of the indesign files.

  If I need to update my tools to R23 so what version in this archive ( http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/collection.jsp?collID=4 & platform = Macintosh ) should I download?  They are marked with a completely different naming convention. (ie 1.14 etc.)

  It's all a bit confusing.  Is there a chart anywhere that shows which versions correspond to which releases?  It would be really useful.

  It is important to understand that the version of the viewer can display older versions of folio but not newer. For example, if you create a v23 Viewer application, it can display v23 and previous folios but not v24 and later versions.

  It is also important to understand that you can update your tools to the latest version, you can target a specific version when you create (or modify) folio. For example, you can update the Folio producer/Folio Builder v24 Panel tools and create a v23 (or earlier) folio. You can target v20 or later versions. If you have an older Viewer (such as v18), it becomes more complicated, but you are not in this situation.

  The key is that you upgrade your tools to the latest version and create folios corresponding to your version of the Viewer.

  Hi all

  Since I read adout the new creative cloud I'm confused about what will happen to my license for Adobe Lightroom. Will they remain still desktop apps as well or I have to pay for an annual license, if I want to use new versions of Lightroom?

  I am a casual photographer and I like to use Lighroom for my photos, but I don't think that pay for an annual license because I'm not spending a lot of time, image-editing.

  5 Lightroom does not have subscription only, you're fine. There is no sign that it will even happen in the foreseeable future either.  It's just the ex-Creative-Suite that all talk.

  Target market of Lightroom is different from the Creative Suite/Cloud. CC is a good deal for the majority of its base of users (next door), while the majority signed without major complaints.  Lightroom has a huge customer base amateur, and they would be much more difficult to convince us to go subscription only. They would be likely to lose most of customers of Lightroom at the moment, and they are not completely stupid.

  Areas I'm trying to make editable are my navigation bar on the left that has been created in a table as the tutorial said using the block function in CSS styles.  As I used it, not make the editable region? My navigation is locked or I'll be able to change the navigation from one page to the other buttons?  I have read so many things I've confused myself.

  The excerpt that gives a good description of how repair if you have not used the field block to the style of the page, but I'm confused about what to do as I did?

  First off you need to create a model of 'master' NOT an index page. The index page is created from the "master" template

  Explained simply: build a page as you like in Dreamweaver, and save it as a template for the folder root of your site. File > save as template

  Then you can create pages of your site from the "master" template File > new > template > choose Site folder > select model > create

  You now have a new page, based on the model of 'master '. Save it with the name index.html in the folder of your site.

  Your 'master' model has no editable now region then open it in Dreamweaver. Insert your cursor in the table cell where is your left navigation and then select themark along the bottom of the Dreamweaver window. Choose now your navigation overall is in the table cell to make you an ' editable '.

  Go > insert > template objects > editable region. Name LeftNavigation, and then click ok. You will see that your navigation has now been wrapped in an editable region. Save the model of 'master' and the changes will be reflected in the index.html page, which was created from the "master" template

• BlackBerry smartphones, I am new and confused about things 'connection '.

  I am a new BlackBerry - I have a Curve 8320, I am a small business owner, and I'm not connected to a BES. I use the BB Desktop Manager to synchronize with Outlook and to back up my BB and I did pretty well on most things, but I have still a few things that I leave me puzzled. In this forum, I will ask my "questions of confusion" about data options.

  I have a data plan "pay as you go" with AT & T, my provider, because there is practically no cell reception at home where I work. (I not use my BB for email since I was at my computer most of the time). I have a home network set in place and I have incorporated a router that supports wireless. I have connected a netbook to the wireless network and used to surf the Internet, so I know that my wireless connection works. I also managed to create a wireless connection on my BB to this network and on the home screen, it appears the name of my wireless network when I am here at home, so, I know that the device is connected to my network.

  BUT I don't think that I'm really using my home wireless network... I tried the other day browsing the Internet, and then AT & T told me that I hired data charges - I thought that I should not have if I wasn't using their network. Either I am wrong all assuming that they don't charge me if I use my network or I have something set up properly on my BB... someone can provide some guidance?

  Then, I don't really understand what BIS... I searched through the KB and couldn't find something that sets actually BIS... could someone please explain what BIS?

  Finally, can someone please explain the difference between "mobile network" and "wi - fi"? Apparently, if I disable "mobile network" I have no connection at all, including wi - fi. Is that the way things should be? But, I can turn off wi - fi and always get a connection (if I go out too far from my house, South possible and face).

  Thanks to all who responded... I now have a much better understanding of the work of the whole thing "data". I disabled my LAN connection, which should avoid all charges. The part that confuses me the most, is that AT & T said would not have to pay to use my own wi - fi, but... it doesn't seem to be the case. So, McDonald's and Starbucks will work very well for me.

  I have Adobe Creative cloud and I went to the student. I understand that the $12 plan / monthly is only for the first year, but when he jumped to $65 per month which was a pretty big leap (especially for someone who is still a student) and so I called Adobe customer service. I was told that I had changed my plan in October, something I never remember to do, but the representative I spoke with said she would get back on the plan of the student for $21 / month, and I will get a refund of $27,23. I realized that I was not getting a full refund because I was already at middle of January so I was fine with that too. The same day I receive a supplement of $21,23 and no refund. I remind them again and asked what was going on and said it was a policy of the company to charge the monthly fee for the new plans from the outset. I asked the officer if that's the case, why I do not get a full refund for the $65 I paid this month. She said it was because I was already in the month of January and this is what she was allowed to give me. I asked what month the charge $21.23 is for. She said it was for January. I told him that he didn't add up because according to its share of January has already been used and paid and cannot be refunded but I'm being charged for the total amount of January again under the student rate she changed her of me. • Confusion about the requirements for the 2015 CC software

  I currently have Windows 8.0 (64 bit) which is so satisfactory and stable.  I have not upgraded to 8.1 Windows because I can't install same normal updates for Windows 8.0 without experiencing freezes system that only restore points can heal.  So for now, I would stick with what I have.  But the problem is the confusing requirements for various programs within the pile of creative cloud applications:

  Premiere Pro: Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (64-bit) or Windows 8 (64-bit)
  Photoshop: Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 or Windows 8.1

  Illustrator: Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 8 or 8.1 Windows

  Dreamweaver: Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8 or 8.1 Windows

  Hearing: Microsoft® Windows® 7 with Service Pack 1 (64-bit), Windows 8 (64-bit) or Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

  So what I'm confused about is the fact that Windows 8.0 is not listed for Photoshop, but Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are.  Does this mean Photoshop CC 2015 is not compatible with Windows 8?  And that means that Premiere Pro is not compatible with Windows 8.1 since only 7.0 (SP1) and 8.0 are listed, I would have preferred the upgrade of software CC WITHOUT update Windows since I am picky on my installation of Windows 8 stable pipes now solid as a rock.  Fortunately, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and hearing are compatible with all three, it seems.

  Can someone clear up the confusion, please?

Just below my tab for index.html are the buttons "Code, Split and Design." His shows "Code Source" followed of a button to the name of the css file.

  His splitter window resulting shows the design on the right side and the code css on the left. The best I can do is the design on the right and the code for the index on the left page.

  You have not set the file check_cs5.css to the HTML page.

  The rule of #main_image has been created inside the HTML document rather than in the style sheet external check_cs5.css. See the definition of the rule in the new dialog box CSS rule.

• Confused about the extension of the Sprite class

  My understanding is that the Sprite class allows you to group a set of objects that you can manipulate all the objects at the same time.

  A number of things.

  First of all, I would not use this approach in your table constructor. Setting the width and height only makes sense if you adjust the width and height of the existing content, and the table (Sprite) does not at this time here. If you want to give the table a 'size', you could do it like this:

  put in a background invisible to this size:

  There are other ways, including putting in a form or a Sprite of child as a child for the background so that clear will not erase the background of the chart. This way you could have properties for the background in your table class and update the background as a child DisplayObject instance... a few ideas to think to...

  Then, after that, your chart should be functional...

  Then back in your scenario, you could do this:

• 2nd hard drive for HP Pavilion dv7t-4000 CTO Notebook - what do I need?

  Hi, I have the HP Pavilion dv7t-4000 CTO Select Edition Entertainment Notebook (product # WV703AV). It can accommodate two hard disks but only came with one. What would need to be able to install the second hard drive? I need just a connecting cable or I also need to caddy or kit?

  Also, would I get a solid state? My laptop that would support or should I just use regular?

  Currently, I am on Windows 7 64-bit. I have a 500 GB hd (which came to be partitioned with hp tools/restoration).

  Your laptop should be able to work with an SSD, but I can't guarantee it.

  I don't really see any point in adding an SSD unless you make the main hard drive, and to do this, you must get an SSD of the same size as the original 500 GB hard drive to use the recovery discs to reinstall the operating system.

  Most people get smaller SSD and they use the W7 product key to activate a simple installation of W7.

  If you can read all 25 characters of your product key for windows 7, you can do your own installation media and allows to install Windows on a smaller than 500 GB SSD.

  If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

  Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

  Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. The link below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

  I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction about what follows. I am a student in abrasive particles and I several stills SEM of 10 to 120 Micron particles. I'm looking for a software that will allow me to easily calculate the various properties related to the particle, like size, geometry, space ect - or anything really that could be useful for me to compare one particle with another.

  (1) is there some features that may be useful to know when it comes to comparing the abrasive particles?

  (2) is it simple software available that would be suitable (I recommended a program called SIGMAscan but it may seem too much of an investment to about $900 for what I need to).
