Pavilion 27N4Q57AA: card mother Crusher - crane 4g - 4g v

What is the main differences between motherboards Crusher - 4g and crane - 4g and what is the best? Thanks in advance.

Hello

The big difference is Crusher - 4g supports CPU 4 Gen and crane - 4g Gen 6 CPU support. You can work on which one is better.

Kind regards.

  • HP Pavilion s7210n card mother SATA compatibility

    Hello

I have a question on a motherboard that is installed in a PC HP PAVILLION of Slimline s7210n, purchased in 2005.

This is all the part # and other information that I could see on the motherboard:

    PTGV-LM
    N13219
    C58S198-00877-60-MBL3A2-A04

The original hard drive is SATA 1 (1.5 Gb/s).  I would like to replace the original HDD with a SATA 2 (3 Gb/s) HARD drive.

The motherboard has 2 entry SATA connections.  The connection that is not used is labeled "SATA 3" on Platinum motherboard.  I think that it is a 'SATA 2' port and model of PCB plate refers to the speed (3 Gb/s) since SATA 3 (6 Gb/s) is only available in 2009.

This PC was purchased in 2005.

A SATA 2 HARD drive will work with this motherboard?

    Hello:

A SATA II HARD drive will work, but only at the speed of 1.5 transfer in this PC.

That's all the 915 chipset can handle.

The port numbers are only of numbers, not of speed of the sata drives.

You plug certain devices into ports with some numbers.

For example, you would plug the bootable hard drive into port 1, port 2, a DVD in the 3 port high school.

  • HP pavilion a1330e card mother drivers for Windows XP 64 edition?

I had to recharge the system and I still have errors on multimedia Audio Controller and SM bus driver. HP only supports drivers for XP to Vista to 7. Should I try another driver 64-bit vista or Windows 7?

Hello LivvPowerplay.  I understand that you are trying to locate the Windows XP 64-bit drivers.

Unfortunately, you are very unlikely to find the drivers for the 64 bit version of Windows.  64-bit Windows has never really taken off, and there is almost no support for it (from anyone, not only HP).  You will need to use 64-bit Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating systems.  I suggest Windows 7.

  • the upgrade card mother DM3-Pavilion

    Hello

My 4 year Pavilion dm3, recently died on me. It's a little elegant machine, I wanted to wear around and who was always OK for occasional daily tasks. For these reasons and others, I would at least try to replace the defective motherboard and revive.

The model I bought is a dm3-1003tx exotic model (bought in Thailand, especially with a keyboard QWERTY/thai), with Intel SU7300 and discrete nVidia GeForce G 105 M graphics chip.

Given that the original motherboard is not easy to find (PN 584079-001, only a couple of bids on ebay of the Japan), can someone tell me:

-If it's OK to replace it with an another based SU7300 of motherboard (can be with or without the nvidia chip - I really don't need it).

-or even better upgrade to a motherboard of SP9300 based to get a performance gain? If so, should I expect any change (it looks that the consumption of energy and the frequency of the buses are higher with the SP9300 then maybe RAM...?)

Is there any tool available around compatible HP part numbers?

    Thank you

No, there is not a matrix of cross, useful reference because it would be. I think that HP is simply too many different models and parts for someone to keep track of it all. HP Service is inspired by replacement with the same part number so their internal service people wouldn't even have much use for such a thing, just us end users.

Motherboards have the processor soldered to the and there is only a single part number for the fan/radiator Intel stated so I would say that if you replace your motherboard with it:

    580663 001

with the SP9300, you'll be able to reuse your fan/radiator. In the case where you don't have it here is the repair:

    Manual

All models use the DDR2-800 memory and accept up to 8 GB. Different motherboards all seem to have the same ports and such and will have the same anchor points. You could even theoretically install a card mother AMD-based, but this would require to reinstall an operating system, and I wouldn't trade an Intel processor for an AMD processor in any case unless AMD have been much cheaper. A Committee from AMD would also require a different radiator, however.

You can buy the SP9300 motherboard for $45 shipped on eBay:

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/580663-001-HP-Compaq-motherboard-Pavilion-dm3-Intel-laptop-W-SP9300-CPU-581467-0-/400445142883?PT=motherboards&hash=item5d3c63f763

The same seller also has the SU7300 for a few dollars less:

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/584078-001-HP-dm3-1000-laptop-motherboard-w-Intel-SU7300-1-3GHz-CPU-/400600978029?PT=motherboards&hash=item5d45add26d

I bought a little of this seller and it looks like they have a lot of them on the spot so must have dismantled a certain dm3s. Maybe if you call them they can steer you in a way or another based on real practical experience. I confess that I have the opportunity to work on this exact model.

  • Can I switch to an Intel Pentium D 945 on a card mother Napa-GL8E?

Hello, I have a HP Pavilion a6403w with an Intel Dual - Core processor E2160 (1.8 GHz) on a card mother Napa-GL8E. I would like to know if it is possible to switch to an Intel Pentium D 945 (3.4 GHz) on this motherboard. Before that everyone goes to the top and say no, I read a few post image Core 2 s running on this motherboard. And if an Intel Pentium D 945 would not work, what else would be a good upgrade for my PC? Thank you.

(Edit: Opps, I posted this in the wrong forum.)

    Computer a6403w and Napa-GL8E pages care about motherboard;

    Type of socket: 775
Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades
Intel Core 2 Duo (Wolfsdale) E8xxx
    Core 2 Duo E6xxx until E6850 (Conroe)
Pentium (Conroe) E2xxx series with Dual Core E2160 technology
    Core 2 Duo E4xxx (Conroe)
Celeron 4xx series (Conroe) until Celeron 450

Based on this information, the Pentium D 945 only is not supported on this platform. Referring to your "multiple posts reading" on quad-core Core 2 on the Napa, the information relates mainly to non - OEM versions (read no HP) of the Board of Directors. Sumsolstice mentions the internal docs showing micocode updated but does not purely and simply that it will work. The best processor would probably be the Core 2 Duo (Wolfsdale) E8xxx series.

  • The card mother MS-7184 (AmethystM) in my old HP PC takes in AHCI mode?

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my post!

I recently bought an OCZ Aligity 4 256 GB SSD drive. I want to use the SSD as drive replacing the original hard drive in my old HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7334n desktop PC. Here is the link to my pc:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&product=1821850

I know that the motherboard identified on the Web site above for this model of PC is A8AE-(AmberineM), but the motherboard I have is MS-7184 (AmethystM), the specifications of the motherboard is here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00378480

I updated the BIOS with the latest version (3.47, 03/03/2006) I can found on the HP website. In the BIOS, I can't find any info on the AHCI support. My questions are:

1 - is the card mother MS-7184 (AmethystM) in my old HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7334n Desktop PC support AHCI mode?

    2. how to configure CMOS when I use the SSD as my main drive on the old HP computer?

Note Please that I have aleady copy drive hard whole orginal on the new SSD and I started my computer on the new SSD. This works. I have another post questions on the recovery of the system on the SSD, the post is here:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-operating-systems-e-g/system-recovery-doesn-t-work-on-cloned-SS...

    Thank you!

    You are the very welcome.

I leave these settings at their default values.

You have the SSD connected to sata port, and it must operate to the maximum 150 Mbps transfer speed, 133 or 100 no matter what readings are displayed, as would an IDE drive.

The problem is that since there is no AHCI setting, the drive cannot enjoy the native command files or TOPPING.

Aside from that, an SSD should be better that a standard SATA I mechanical drive or IDE hard drive.

Even subjectively, you should 'see' a difference in sensitivity of disc, not you?

Improved time, faster startup time for research, for example.

  • Problem of card mother-suggestions

I have a Desktop Pavilion p6310y and I lost my second mother. He has a Paragon M2N78 - motherboard and said that it is the only one that can be used on this computer. Does anyone know if there is another motherboard that can be used on this computer? It has a processor AMD 2.8 ghz and 6 GB of ram. I really want to buy a new computer, I just want to see if it can be resolved.

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

    Bob

    Bob,

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion p6310y and its card mother M2N78-(Violet6). Please note that this model uses the 'VIOLET6' of the M2N78 - motherboard version and not several different version called M2N78 - LA. This model came from the factory with an AMD AM3 Athlon II X 4 630 and 6 GB memory DDR3.

While you can replace the motherboard with a new one, Windows will become "not authentic" and you will need to purchase a new copy of Windows. Other problems that may arise,... include your recovery discs HP will no longer works, back plate I/O may not match, mounting motherboard can not align the studs, etc.. When installing a new copy of Windows, you will lose all 'value-added' original HP supplied with your computer software.

If you're OK with every possible question of a motherboard out of factory usage, consider these cards mothers AMD AM3 + who is responsible for your AM3 Athlon II X 4 630 CPU and DDR3 memory.

    Please send Bravo

  • HP Pavilion elite e9000 (mother of IPIEL-LA3) - updated bios for RAM w / 4 GB DDR?

    Hello

I bought a computer (custom config) Pavilion elite e9000 of costco in 2009, so I've offended have an exact model in 31 configurations HP number has for this model in the software support.  He had 6 GB (3 x 2 GB) DDR3 ram on a motherboard with Intel Core 2 Quad CPU @2.5 GHz IPIEL-A3...  Bought with Vista, now under Windows 7 64-bit

Trying to speed up the computer (vs upgrade) and from what I can tell, 4 GB of RAM chips are not compatible with the motherboard.

Try to understand if a BIOS upgrade would work, but the card BIOS upgrade mother IPIEL-LA3 throws an error 253.

Y at - it an update to software that I can do to allow me to update the RAM (like to go to 12-16 GB of my 6 today)?

    Here are the specifications and configurable options for your desktop HP Pavilion Elite e9110t. Here are the specs because that's card mother IPIEL-A3 (Eureka3). According to specifications, your system supports the following memory configurations;

Four DDR3 DIMM sockets (240 pin)

Supports DIMM DDR3 2 GB modules

    Supports dual channel memory architecture

    PC3-8500 1066 MHz

    PC3-6400 800 MHz

    Memory non - ECC, unbuffered

Supports up to 8 GB on 64 bit computers

Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit computers

4 GB DDR3 DIMMS are not supported by this system. It's usually because that material (chipset) does not support sizes larger than those listed. In rare cases the limitation may have been imposed by HP in the BIOS. The update of the BIOS address not to increase the size memory or questions. Error 253 means that the BIOS is not for your system or your system does not meet the minimum requirements of the update. If you want to install the update in safe, you must install it to Vista.

BIOS update 'sp43102.exe' requires a Microsoft Windows Vista operating system installed.

    Version: 5.05

Compatibility: Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)

After replacing the card mother a Qosmio G10-120 original Win Xp MCE with the official update (FC43S1 A5A001749010 P000454980 jury), some problems have arisen:

    3. always on cooling fan.

    Upgrade the motherboard consisted of:

    1. creation of new channels DMI Council (in particular "Model name" field was set to "Qosmio G10").
    2. loading the CD-ROM TCN0000006 official update tool.
    3. no recovery BIOS or EC/KBC.

    Any idea?

I m wondering how you did update the information in the DMI?
As far as I know that the Toshiba authorised service provider is able to update information DMI as the model name, version number, etc. using utilities and special tools.

I googled for the motherboard part number, you have deposited in your original thread, and it seems that this motherboard has been developed the Qosmio F15 series.
So maybe his bad card mother
