Pavilion 423.teleglobe uk replacing the cpu fan

Hi, first post so hope gives enough information.

The CPU fan above radiator has a missing Blade (no idea what happened and not in the case!).  The computer has been used very slow for a few months and this may have a role to play.  I formatted and replaced Windows XP a few times and always very slow.

I tried to get a replacement without success and I was wondering if anyone can help on where to get a new?

Thanks in advance

livingstonc wrote: thanks for the quick reply, almost there now with replacement and without your help would always look. Can get one of US not UK, but before I do, like that of the UK and you want thoughts so well?

Thanks again.

Hello livingstonc, I'd be a bit wary of this model, because it has only 2 000 rpm and speed to other Coolermaster is 2 500 rpm. This may not provide enough air cooling of the CPU under load.

    Hello

I bought my HP Pavilion dv6 laptop 2011 as it starts a is overheating, freezing windows with noisy fan sound etc... but now, on information in BIOS boot indicating that the CPU fan has stopped working so immediately, I checked that I couldn't hear any noise from fan and no symptoms as fan works so I disassembled my laptop and removed CPU cooler fan only. Simply with the help of the battery, I checked the CPU fan it is running perfectly alone. but it does not work with the laptop.

Please help me and guide what is the cause of this problem and how to solve this problem.

How can I find my model number or product number?

I understand that since you had the laptop he had an overheating problem with a loud fan noise that causes freeze it.

Recently, you have received the message that the CPU fan has stopped working and you couldn't hear the rotation of the fan to the top.

You have removed the fan and checked, but the fan works.  It is possible that the connection was not safe in Notepad.

Have you checked for an update of the bios of your laptop. You have provided the series of laptop you have, but not the exact model, so I'm not able to check it for you.

  • E153sa Pavilion 17: replace the cpu

My laptop does not start. No fan, nothing.
Only flashes on the SHIFT key, which I understand as a code of non-functional CPU.
Only 18 months but old warranty.
From the manual, it looks like I can replace the CPU. If Yes, approximately what is the approximate cost of UC and what options for a compatible CPU are there?
Also, where is the best place to buy one?

    Thanks for the reply.

Not really what I want to hear, because it is not conclusive. I agree with you, however, so try a motherboard first. I cross my fingers.

    Thanks for the links.

  • Doesn't let me change the Cpu fan!

    Hey guys,.

My cpu hp craped out fan and I tried to buy another fan I removed the old an and replace now the new fan will only work 830 RPM compared to the former which took place in 1800 as soon as the computer I tired about three different fans, it seems that he wants only foxxcon fan to work right so my question is How can I change the cpu fan with a one outside the foxxcon aftermartket because I can not find the same! model is a P6000 P6741f series!

really want your help, I won't heat my cpu!

    Thank you!!!

    Ryan. D

Therefore, replace the fan with a new and new thermal interface materials.

Check the time against the maximum allowed for your CPU. Temperatures 10 degrees cooler (in degrees C) thean max when you run a game requiring high graphics so stop worrying.

  • «the cpu fan works not.» Check the fan connections and call for service. »

I was wondering if a failure of different from 'CPU fan has failed... system in a few seconds will stop. " I have an office of DX - 2000 P4 under XP SP3 that I just changed the motherboard and CPU fan on. All the fans are running at about the same speed. (P/S, chassis and CPU). Not very fast but cannot see the fins. Computer sat for several years. I was wondering what is the real test and how the fan speed is controlled. I suppose that temperature sensors built into the cpu, somehow, there must be a variable voltage applied to the fans to change their speed and/or a measuring device to see what is their RPM. This must be controlled by the BIOS as is any pass/fail test. My next step is to replace the old fan and see what happens. I have a new p/s to install should be here today. Actually used, but cleaned up and tested. Economy of cleanup. Not sure if my older diet could be the cause of the issue with low Volt.

If the fan is slower than the factory fan, you will have this problem.

  • I would like to replace the noisy fans HP m9360f with quieter models upgraded.

I've lived more loud noise of my Pavilion m9360f fan lately and am interested in replacing the processor fan and case fan as well.  Unfortunately I can't find any references or suggestions for improvements (here these new fans to be as quiet as possible). Honestly, I don't know yet what sizes the m9360f requires.

Can you advise what direction I need to go?  I appreciate everything that you can provide.

    kcmac,

Processor fan and case fan should be 80 mm (3.25 ") and 92mm (3.6") respectively. The measures are.

    Here's how to check: http://db.sanyodenki.co.jp/product_db_e/coolingfan/dcfan/dc_fan_detail.php?master_id=1993

Audible noise is deemed be 21dB. The problem with low noise fans is their lower speed (RPM).

Determining CFM has been the most difficult issue. Try Googling "5188-3722 CFM" (rear case fan is a #5188-3722), and you'll find it varies, but 40 CFM seems common response.

Now install this to control the ROTATION speed: http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/1.19-setup.exe

Then save the idle and max RPM under load is heavy.

  • The CPU fan surge

I have a Dell Studio XPS 8100 running Windows 7 that is about 5 years old.
The CPU is a Core i7 processor 870 2.93 GHz.

The CPU fan has recently begun to speed in full progress. After starting, it may take up to two hours for this outbreak taking place.

Here's what I've tried so far:
    1. diagnostics Ran Dell hardware illustrated trouble-free.
    2. open the computer and look for the dust problem. Current minimum dust. I cleaned up what was there. Also, I removed the CPU cooler-fan and sitting with the new thermal paste.
    3. I checked the BIOS. It has the latest update.
    4. I have recently started using safe and noted it was more all this CPU fan after a few days of operation in full progress. After you restart normally, fan surging stood again after an hour.

Any ideas on fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated. Should I try re-flashing the bios? I've got a new CPU cooler fan. Is it useful to replace the old unit.

This is probably caused by recent updates of Dell Data Vault and SupportAssist. Many other users have exactly the same problem on various models of PC.

Dell is working on a fix. In the meantime...

    1. Press Windows + R and run "msconfig" (without the quotes)
    2. Click on the Services tab
    3. Find "Dell Data Vault.
    4. Clear the check box
    5. Click on the Startup tab
    6. Find Dell 'SupportAssist' and uncheck the box
    7. Reset
    8. You can get advice on "Selective startup", but simply to cancel the notice.

Stay tuned for a solution that will allow you to check these boxes again and re-use Data Vault and SupportAssist (if you want or need them).

  • How to disassemble the Qosmio E10 to replace the cooling fan - need manual

Does anyone have instructions on how to disassemble the E10 to replace the cooling fan. a G25 irisvista.com all the other models, but the design is not the same.

Now stuck at removal of keyboard connector.
No idea what fan model numbers so I can order before the band down.

    Hello

Unfortunately, it seems that there is no information on fan replacing on the laptop of the G10. These documentations are not for public use, but only for the Toshiba authorized service providers :(

Apart from this fact it s not advisable to disassemble this laptop if you have no experience! During the disassembly process, you could damage the motherboard or something else

So I think that he of better go to a technician because he has more experience.
In addition, the taken cooling module supported and compatible can be ordered from the Asp in your country

  • HP a1250n, radeon xpress 200 question after replacing the CPU, Standard VGA Graphics goes not down

Recently, I messed up my CPU and bought a replacement (exact same kind). I am running windows 7 ultimate and for about 6 months prerequisites with no problems. After replacing the CPU I get intermittent lock ups, sometimes with a small portion of the screen flashes. I say intermittent but at least every 15-20 minutes. Different programs, different habits, but still the screen freezes.

I went in and deleted the driver under graphics cards, pick a 'completely remove the option' - it after restarting the system on its own charged for a Standard VGA Graphics Adapter and since there is then no more accidents. Of course the functionality is not as complete, large icons and such, but it works.

If it certainly seems to point to a driver conflict I think. But for this machine, is there ever any single Vista Windows 7 driver. My skills are not so, but I'm moving.

    Any guidance?

Yes, your PC has integrated graphics controller: ATI Radeon XPress 200, we don't find drivers compatible Windows 7 ATI.

  • Satellite A10 S203: the CPU fan does not work properly?

I have toshiba satellite a10 s203 and the cpu fan does not work correctly. What can I do about it?

    Hi SACRIFICE them.

Here are some possible solutions to this problem of fan.

    1. When you have installed a base installation of MS (not the Toshiba Recovery CD) you need to install the Toshiba Power Saver and others utilities from the CD tools & utilities. The energy saver is responsible for the control of the fan.

    2. If you have a recovery based OS, you can update the energy saver of http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com site Web Toshiba under Support & Downloads - Download Driver

If please check this and an answer then follow the next step!
