Pavilion 6168tx: Blutooth not detected

Hello

I have recently upgraded to windows 8.1 but my bluetooth is not detected.

I checked under network and devices, it only detects ethernet and wifi adapters.

Module: Ralink 5390bc8

Thank you

Hello:

Unfortunately, this bluetooth radio is not compatible with W8 or 8.1.

No solution I know.  There are certainly not all the drivers for it.

    Hello community of Hp.

I already perform some troubleshooting method.

    the first thing I did.

is that I perform a RESET of my modem.

because I think that the IP of my laptop has been block by my modem.

    second is.

    I reformat WINDOWS Vista x 64.

    but it's the same thing.

    Hi @BooJimBoo,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the HP laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your Hp Pavilion dv2500 Notebook and problems with the wireless connection. Try to reset the router. Wait 30 seconds before plugging and unplugging the router to make sure, it resets completely. Here is a link for troubleshooting wireless connection, if you need. Section I fell better help is the key to security is changed 3. To establish a new connection to the wireless network, return to the network sharing Center window, select set up a connection to a network.

If the problem persists, I would change the channel on the router. Routers are able to communicate to your laptop on several different channels. You can contact your Internet provider.

Some say that this download will help fix this Microsoft Fix it.

Here is a linkto help as well.

Please let me know how it goes.

  • Pavilion G7 webcam not detected.

Hello, I have a G7-2051SA Pavilion on W7 64-bit and webcam does not work. I have the "Cyberlink Youcam" which, once the software is installed, I run, he "No webcam detected". Skype does not detect it either. I've updated the latest drivers and using tune has conducted an audit and update PC with all relevant software but I still get the error. I can't see a FN + option key or any which icon on one of the 'f' keys to allow.

    Any ideas please?

Hello jerrydoco.  I understand that you get the error "webcam not detected."

  • Card reader HP Pavilion dv6 does not detect some SDHC cards

    Hp Pavilion dv6-6104so laptop

    Windows 7-64 bit

The laptop card reader does not detect some of our SDHC cards. We have updated the driver to the latest version, Realtek PCIE 6.1.7601.90 and BIOS, but it does not yet recognize some of our cards.

We have six three SanDisk SDHC cards (4, 32 and 32 GB), two Kingston (8 and 8 GB) and an integral (4 GB). The card reader recognizes four of them (4 to 32 GB SanDisk cards and one of the two cards Kingston). What is strange and you may have already noticed is that the card reader recognizes only one of two cards with the same brand and quality!

On the two cards that don't recognize in our specifications, they work properly in their corresponding cameras and are detected without problem by another reader of cards to laptop of HP Pavilion dv6-3138so, as well as by two netbooks from our two different brands.

When we connect the camera (a Canon and Sony, both point) to the computer via a cable USB 2.0, the laptop detects the cameras and through them, we can access the cards.

We bought the laptop less than two weeks in Helsinki, Finland.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hey everybody,

Use of a high capacity card in a standard card reader location causes this problem. Im going to guess that the cards you ar having problems with are not standard SD cards and SDHC cards. As Naoto said, using a camera as a card reader you workaround this. You can also look in the adapters of SDHC card reader. Here is a good article on SDHC cards: http://goo.gl/lj5Fq

    I hope this helps!

  • Bluetooth device not detected - HP Pavilion G6-1139TX

Yesterday (January 7, 2012), I bought a HP Pavilion G6-1139TX. I installed Windows 7 (32 bit). Everything installed properly, but the system does not detect the Bluetooth device. When I try to install the software/driver Bluetooth that is "Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth", it gives me error "No. BLUETOOTH DEVICE CONNECTED/DETECTED" and abandonment of the installation. Same Bluetooth switch is on. In Device Manager there is a yellow question mark with the code "BCM20702A0". Please guide me what is the problem and how to fix this problem. What's the problem in hardware or something else?  For your information, a Wi - Fi connection works correctly.

I had the same problem Bro too. Here's what I did,

Google code as 'BCM20702A0 driver '. Then try to catch the driveridentifier site link (sorry bro m not at home to provide you with exact link.m via my phone right nw.) Just saw your message and Thoth to answer with what I know). Then, there will be a link to download not only bcm2070 pilot but also any blutooth broadcom drivers.

    * Download the package. It will be like 100-150 mb. CNT remember exactly. And don't forget to check that your hardware ID list. You can get that from Device Manager. And neglect even if the site mentioned another computer brand.not hp.
    * install the pack, and then restart the laptop.
    * After this, return to Device Manager and go to the properties of the bluetooth driver. (the one with the yellow exclamation point. I hope you know how to do and do not forget to activate the wireless cnction otherwise it wouldn't show up there)

    * in the Properties window, go to the update driver and click on the button browse my computer for driver.
Then select bluetooth, then broadcom adapters and I remember select bluetooth 3.0 HS... blah... blah... it will be a lot like that. But try to choose a simple. It still works.
    * to transfer files, I s\u0026 an incompatibility with the windows utility. Then first pair your device. Then use Obex Commander. Its a free app and I find it more useful to use.

    That's it bro.

  • New Pavilion dv7, HP TrueVision HD webcam not detected

Just bought my new Pavilion dv7, and when I run the Cam software, it tells me that my HP TrueVision HD webcam is not detected. I tried this for a few days, at a point when I was trying to play with the settings you Cam, webcam light on for aprox. 2 seconds and then died again, since then, it won't let me even in the settings of YouCam.

Right now I am more and more convinced that it is because of my laptop being assembled outside the United States. Need a fix for it immediately.

    Hi guys,.

I had the same problem with a HP Pavilion dv7-6e22b. I read on a short cable inside the screen.
I found the post on the way in which the display is connected. It's an older model but I was curious to know how to remove the cover of the machine. It contains 2 screws (that I didn't have to remove to access the camera) just be causious does not break the bevel.

    http://www.insidemylaptop.com/remove-LCD-screen-inverter-Board-HP-Pavilion-dv7-notebook/

It is an older model in the new model, the connector of the webcam is located directly under the lens of the webcam itself.
I pressed connector you slightly. And suddenly I hear a USB all OFA linking sound. After that my device manager showed a "device-image", and the software work directly.

I jump it will solve your problems. I say read all messages and do not find a solution to the driver or software and after seeing the connector, I think it's an effort of poor deisgn by using short cables and small connectors.

    good luck to all!

From the least expensive option, replace the cpu fan (which comes with the heat sink) has solved the problem.

  • HP Pavilion a6750f: problem dual monitor (Second monitor not detected in DVI input)

Hello everyone, I'm going to by a problem of not being able to setp toward the top of my second monitor.

I own a HP Pavilion a6750f with an ATI Radeon HD 3200 card on board running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit operating system.  In the back, I have two VGA and DVI inputs, VGA works, but when I connect the other monitor which is connected to a DVI adapter on the back, Windows does not detect any.

I tried to go the DVI adapter to the other monitor and noticed that it refuses to work. I will note that my display drivers are all updated and I activated the option of customization to detect the second monitor, nothing shows up, it will not be the same acknolowdge that there are several screens.

I think it's weird that I don't see this problem being issued when I was searching for a resolution on google for hours now. If someone can help me here please I would be very happy.

Just to remind you try to connect a VGA (analog) monitor to a DVI - D (digital only) output on the computer. This is never going to work as analog and digital are two completely different incompatible signalling methods. With the help of an adapter DVI / VGA passive is the problem that these cards may work with DVI - I or DVI - A output... not DVI - D.

    Wikipedia - DVI;

"More digital, the DVI connector includes pins that carry an analog signal compatible with RGBHV signals in a VGA connector. This allows a VGA monitor be connected to a passive adapter and offers a universal solution for the DVI interface. The analog pins are the four that surround the apartment or cross the blade as shown on the right side of the diagrams below. »

    8 analog vertical sync

    C1 - analog Red
    C2 - analog Green
    C3 - blue analog
    C4 - analog horizontal sync
    C5 - analog ground

Note the absence of the pins on your computer and your so-called card C1, C2, C3 and C4. Without these pins is not just going to work. Still, there is no way to get an analog VGA monitor to work with your digital DVI - D only output using a so-called DVI - D to VGA. You may be able to buy an asset DVI - D to VGA Converter, but this will be expensive and cannot provide a poor video image quality.

As you said, the HP f1703 monitor supports only VGA. However, based on the specifications, your HP w2207h 22 inch LCD monitor supports the entry to a VGA and a HDMI input. HDMI and DVI - D share the same signage and using a HDMI-DVI cable or adapter HDMI-DVI and HDMI Cable will solve your problem. For two monitors running on your computer, please connect as follows:

Computer > HDMI-DVI cable or adapter HDMI-DVI and HDMI Cable > HP w2207h monitor

Computer > VGA cable > HP f1703 monitor

    Please send Bravo

  • Pavilion dv6-6113tx frequency 5 GHz wireless network has not detected

    Hello

My HP Pavilion dv6-6113tx Entertainment Notebook PC does not detect the signals of frequency of 5 GHz. I tried to verify my update of the software of wireless network and it is also up to date. I asked my colleague to help, they suggested me to attach a double external dongal wireless broadband. Is this the only solution? Or is it possible to replace the network adapter with a double band if this machine does not have this one. Please help me, I'm really annoyed with my computer laptop wifi. He works with 2.4 GHz wifi signal, ut due to problem of interference as indicated by the internet provider that doesn't have the right speed and speed fluctuates a lot.

    Pending a possitive response,

    Thank you

    Hey @arbab92 ,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you're looking for more information about the 5 GHz wireless connectivity computer laptop dv6.

The adapter supplied with your laptop is not a dual band card and does not support the frequency of 5 GHz.

Generally (RFI) Wireless interference can be solved by changing the channel on your router wireless. The default value for most router manufacturers is channel 6, which runs on 2,437 GHz. You can change the channel on your router to channel 1 wireless (2.412 GHz) or 11 (2,462 GHz) away from the bloated channel 6 if there are several wireless networks and devices in your area.

If changing the channel is not an option, or does not resolve the problem, you can buy a wireless network for your laptop adapter. The only 5 GHz compatible card that is compatible with your laptop is the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230. The part number for this is 631956-001. You should be able to order it on the HP part Surfer Web site or third party like Amazon or eBay resellers.

You can see how to install this map on page 67 of the HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC - Maintenance and Service of Guide.

I hope this is the information you're looking for.

  • HP Pavilion 17: Fax Modem internal not detected

Spent too much time on this problem.  Win Fax & Scan does not detect the fax. Control Panel says Microsoft fax in the queue of root "works properly."  So changed original FXST30.dll, apparently to fix this 8.1 do not recognize the external modem. This does not solve the problem of detection. So the question is now: HP Pavilion 17 still has a built-in fax modem? And if so, why not Win Fax & scanning not detect.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated!

    Hi, Tom:

Use the W7 x 64 drivers of th is model g6.  For graphics, simply use the graphics driver AMD, Intel, not one.

DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK

At the bottom of the screen, it says F1: Boot

Then he begins to run smoothly. It becomes annoying.

Examination of the aircraft, but when I find the two fans running?

What is the problem and what I take in repairs?

    Hello

Use a can of compressed air to clean any dust from the fans in the PC.  With the side panel, power on the PC and still observe the rotation speed of the fan.  What do you see? slow, medium, or high speed?

Open the windows to RUN and enter: MSINFO32

What level of your PC BIOS runs?

Install the latest diagnostics for your PC. Start your PC and press ESC then F2 to run a diagnostic.  Run a complete set.

  • Pavilion g6-2215sia: CARD without WIRE NOT DETECTED AFTER UPDATE BIOS

Recently I have updated my BIOS on my laptop HP Pavilion g6-2215sia think he'll adjust the hardware acceleration feature missing in my system (there is no option in my BIOS to enable virtualization technology). My BIOS version was F.12 and I've updated to F.24, but after update BIOS all my wireless functionality no longer works (including my wifi and bluetooth), and still there is no option to enable virtualization technology in my BIOS settings. On my Windows 8.1 x 64 Pro wifi and bluetooth options are grayed out so I can't turn them on or off. I tried to reinstall my bluetooth driver, but the software says that it doesn't detect any bluetooth hardware. Even when I restart and boot in all my Linux distributions installed on my system (Ubuntu, Quina and Kali Linux) and my x 86 Android, they still do not detect my wireless capability (says Ubuntu, "wifi is disabled by hardware switch").

To confirm that this was not a software problem, I has conducted an audit of start-up and tested for my wireless module and got this result, "without WIRE MODULE CHECK: NOT INSTALLED". The only way I can get my Windows operating system to recognize my wireless (wifi and bluetooth) is now by doing a hard reset, when I unplug my laptop from the power supply, remove the battery and hold the power button for about 30 seconds. When I turn on my system, then I can turn my wifi/bluetooth on my Windows. But if I restart my system the problem comes back and I can't turn on my wireless. So basically, I have to avoid questioning my system off and only Hibernate, so that whenever I turn on my laptop I can use the wireless. If I restart my system so I have to repeat the hard reset in order to use my wifi/bluetooth, which can be very annoying.

The problem is that I often use my other Linux disributions and I have to restart before starting in them so that my readers will be mounted read/write, and when I do my Linux can not detect my wireless and it's a serious pain for me because I need to use my wireless often for internet connection.

Please I really need help on how to fix this and get my wireless working normally without having to do a hard reset every time. I tried to restore my BIOS F.12 unfounded but I don't have the image file (I extensively searched the Internet to find, but does not). I've even updated again to F.26 but I still have the same problem (my current version of BIOS is F.26).

If you see no updates the BIOS in your list of drivers - where do you have the updates to the BIOS, you used?

Try here - if you do not see the list of the BIOS, use the "Edit" button to change Windows 8.1 to Windows 8:

  • Pavilion 15-p080ca hard drive not detected in Win8, 03F1 0021 03F0 Bios errors, impossible to recover

    Hello

I bought a new laptop from Windows 8 15-p080ca tigerdirect.ca Pavilion and he received a couple of days.

The computer restarts randomly when working on it, I remember reading an IO error message in a popup windows.

Since then, he constantly reboot, tries to load windows, fails and restarts until the auto repair is involved.

Journal of the system BIOS has to many warnings and error: 03F0, 03F1, 0021.  I had about 3 times a hard drive not found error on POST.

I can't repair the installation either by partition recovery or recovery discs, I get "the disc is locked error" or "auto repair could not fix your pc.

Also Manager of recovery can not find the recovery partition.

On the command prompt diskpart list disk;  "There is no fixed disk to show.

However, the live cd Ubuntu and xp Mini are able to see all the partitions, view files and read them, a quick HDtune read test indicates no disk error.

The computer is able to read disk hard since I am able to get on the recovery and windows tries to load until I get "your pc ran into a problem that he couldn't handle and must be restarted.

HP PC Hardware diagnostic SMART test, short DST returns warning.  Diagnostic test of smart HP returned message 'no hard drive installed' only once.

Whatever it is that the base Windows 8, if the recovery disc, original media is not able to see the hard drive.

I tried to boot the recovery disc, the recovery partition with each combination of Legacy support and secure start to recover partitions without success because the hard drive is not detected (from diskpart list disk command).  The recovery DVDs, I get an error 0xefffff08. I also tried to remove the thought of recovery partition that he might want to move things faster.

Well, after many hours of research and testing, I think I tried everything I could do and would need support for additional testing or replacement of the defective material.

Thank you very much in advance for your help,.

    Jonathan.

Contacted HP Support, laptop, go to the repair center.  Probably the location of the hard drive to the motherboard as they said.
