Pavilion convertible 360: bought 2 months ago, every time I open up to use it froze, it must restart

Bought it two months ago for use purely photos for my husband and ocassional navigation that I have a laptop of my own.  From the first it was so slow and it is not my internet connection because my computer is fine.  Whenever it is open to use if there a half an hour or a day, it displays the desktop but cannot open anything until you have restarted, it.  It's so frustrating, it's simply not fit for purpose, surely this should not happen.

Following my last post, I deleted Avast which has been installed on the computer that I have another system of security in place.  I did have problems with the computer since then, but if it starts to freeze up again I you will call Department, as has been suggested.

support for HP called today and they told me how to do a quick test of system and you can call after that happened I did.  Everything came as adopted.  I was told it was a problem with Windows 10 and I should make sure that all updates are installed.  the settings on my laptop are automatically updated but I have always looked for updates and downloaded to install.  It does not seem to run faster, but I'll have to wait and see.  HP also said that maybe I should phone Microsoft upward if it persists because everything is revealed as a pass on the fast test system is not a problem with the computer.  They gave me the number 0344 800 2400.  I'll have to see how it goes.  A little really disappointed but I'll wait and see.
