Pavilion G6: Lost Starter preinstalled Office pack

My laptop crashed and I had to restore to factory settings, but I have now lost the front.

instaled the Office starting pack "is it possible that this can be recovered?

Hello:

I have zipped and attached the file that you need to access the installation of MS Office Starter 2010 server.

Download, unzip, and double-click to run it.

It will communicate with the server and reinstall Office Starter 2010.

Note that this will only work if your laptop works under W7.

I lost my Microsoft Office Starter 2010, when I ran to the open on my Acer Aspire One D257 system restore. (It works much better now).  I find the apps that have been removed, but can not find them anywhere. As well as the Office Starter 2010, I searched for the most in the list of funds that was provided after that what he's done, as Acer Crystal Eye Webcam Acer.  I thought Acer eRecovery Management, but does not download it because there doesn't seem to be a source of Acer. The only application that I reinstalled successfully is the wireless printer.

Should I concentrate on finding the Acer applications and they will help me find the Office Starter 2010?

    > If it's really gone, so do you think an eRecovery let me a (all) operating system, even if it is Win 10? >>>

If the hidden recovery is * really * gone, the eRecovery Alt + F10 procedure shown in the video does NOT work. Make sure you follow the video, including the schedule and the sequence of tapping the Alt and F10 keys. Another way to confirm that the hidden folder is 'really' disappeared, is to open the "Control Panel". Then do a search on the word "partition". Click on create or format partitions on hard drive. A box will appear saying if you have a partition or collection record.

HP Pavilion dv6000 (Vista) starts with a blank screen with a cursor after the original hp logo screen.  Cannot get it to boot Windows.  Any thoughts on next steps?

I remove the hard drive and attach it to your desktop and use the host operating system to run a check disk on your drive.  The laptop goes hard disk looking for instructions to start and he does not see the correct code.  This is probably due to a damaged boot sector.  Another idea is that your bios has changed and you have changed the SATA from AHCI to IDE type somehow or vice versa. You also left a non bootable disk in the DVD/CD drive.  Remove all disks from your DVD.

  • "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook" error message when you try to click on a name or contact us on a Web site to send a msg email on Outlook/microsoft office 2003

"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook" error message when you try to click on a name or contact us on a website to send an email on Outlook/microsoft office 2003 Vista OS msg. My laptop came with Microsoft Office 2007 TRIAL version, but I already had Microsoft Office Pro 2003, so loaded on when I got it almost a year ago. My trial expired months ago... but never uninstalled cause 2003 worked. Then I wanted to do something in WORD and kept pulling up the 2007 trial and was confusing, so I sent the 2007 trial stuff to recycle bin, but not yet the uninstall. Since then all of a sudden I started to get this error msg. I can open OUTLOOK very well... BUT I don't even use OUTLOOK at all. I send from comcast.
    1. How can I get rid of this error?
    2. does anyone know how I can get my comcast open up when I go to a website to webmaster option instead of defaulting to outlook? And I already checked, "set as my default" is NOT enabled in outlook.

    Hello

I own a HP Pavilion dv6 - 6070ee notebook pc, serial number: product number [personal information deleted],: LL059EA #ABV.

Long story short, I had problems with the hard drive came with my laptop, so I had to switch to an SSD, but, unfortunately, I could not clone the hard drive to my new SSD because the hard drive was really damaged, so I had to install a new genuine copy of windows 7 Home premium 64-bit, which was originally on the laptop when I bought it.

The problem is, I've lost all the software initially provided with the original hard drive and now I don't even have a recovery partition. In addition, the sound does not work, the camera does not work the microphone and the reader of fingerprints and many other things. Please help im really really desperate, if only I can download a recovery partition so my phone would go back to normal thank you very much.

PS: beats audio also comes with the laptop.

    Thank you

Sorry, but it becomes increasingly difficult to find the recovery media for older PCs, because the places are running out of stock.

All you can really do at this point is go to this page and download and install the HP drivers for devices that do not work correctly: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-dv6-6000-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/5048664/model/5062485

    Mr. Schopping,
It's a possibility.  I suggest start with the recovery media and go in the repair of your computer, and then select the command line option and try to run the SFC from there.  See if who gets to run and view the results.

  • lost for microsoft office 10 product key

How can I get a product key for microsoft office 10?  Help!  Warranty is out says Microsoft computer company contact it was purchased from but cant seem to get any help.

    kdavis12508,

When you say you have lost the product key, this means that you have lost the physical product box and the drive?

product key real label is attached to a paper card, inside the plastic. Opening the case, remove the MS quick start guide to see the label.

If you have MS Office installed, the key can be found with Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

  • Problems starting Vista Service pack 1 update - buckle boot - now

    Hello

Vista Home Premium (SP0) ran on our home computer. Due to the loss of IE7 support on some sites, that we needed to update IE and then install Service Pack 1 (SP1). After 3 hours of nail-biting install the computer hooked to black screen. Reboot and reset revealed a restart loop. (SP1 was choice of Native Windows updater)

This was the beginning of a strange troubleshooting. I consider myself a PC tech, but I discovered that this is not the case.

    • I started popping up in the Vista repair disk supplied with the PC, hoping to get the repair of the system than Vista point created before installing SP1. I got a blue screen after you start the DVD. STOP: 0x0000C1F5.
    • I jumped into a recovery CD UBCD4Win CD, I created a while ago with XP preinstalled runtime environment. Started good CD and read up on some forums. They asked to remove Pending.xml and another file which I can't put my finger on ATM there is no improvement to reboot loop or BSOD STOP.
      http://www.Google.com/search?q=remove+pending.XML+Vista+SP1+reboot+loop
    • I read on some forum more. I created a SystemRescueCD with a preinstalled environment location of linux. I deleted the file $Txflog. Following the instructions I can't boot the PC more: pre-launch control ok, black screen startup Windows system manager ntoskrnl.exe 0xC0000098.
I have had no problems to start the Vista recovery DVDs. As stated in the guide that I tried to reset the system restore point created Vista before installing SP1. I get an error at the end of the restoration of the system: system recovery failed due to an unknown error 0 x 80070570.
      http://www.Google.com/search?q= \$Txflog+vista+remove+systemrescueCD
    • After a few Snort of the forum more than that I was instructed to copy system files in folder windows\system32 and drivers. However, I could not find the hal.dll file as instructed but copied the remaining files without a hitch. This has not changed the situation.
(Stange done here, the cmd and the windows recovery environment guest is in Italian, despite the version of windows being a Dutch version. I chose the Dutch at first. is there a way I can change the language in Dutch?)
      http://www.Google.com/search?q=Ntoskrnl.exe+0xc0000098+HAL.dll+copy

So I'm here. All possible solutions are welcome. Please ensure that they are based. I'll try to uninstall SP1 tomorrow through the Windows recovery environment guest. I do accept solutions involving a complete reinstallation of Vista. I have a Windows 7 DVD, but none touch 2nd. It's another language too (Dutch - 7 English Vista). So installation on a W7 is not a direct option.

Please let me know something. Thank you guys!

SP1 is not the issue.  I saw this with a lot of Dell computers at work.
Unfortunately, the solution is a clean install of Vista with SP1 included in the installation DVD.

If this is a Dell computer, you can contact Dell to obtain a copy of the appropriate disk Vista with SP1 (SP2) installed.

  • HP Pavilion 15 lost recovery image

Hello world. I accidentally deleted the recovery partition on my HP Pavilion 15. I need to re - install the operating system. How can I get my OS licensed? My laptop is still under warranty, so I hope that there is a way without having my OS back.
Thank you very much for the help.

    Hello

    There are two options available.

    1. you can order a set of replacement of the recovery media using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office).  They will also recreate all of the original scores, including the recovery Partition.

    Order HP recovery disks.

    2. download the file to Image of Windows 8 on the following link - Note that this Image file is subject to a ceiling of download, you may need to try over a period of a few hours before the download starts correctly.

    https://docs.Google.com/file/d/0B0W9PBigPy94aVJWSndyTFNFMzg/edit?PLI=1

If you need a utility to create a flashdrive bootable for this Image, try the free app below.

    http://Rufus.AKEO.IE/

The product key for Windows 8 is encrypted in your bios chip and read automatically during installation.

Other software and drivers you need can be found here.

After successful installation, I restarted my computer. Since then, my laptop could not start or start. It's just a black screen, saying basically "press ESC to continue."

I contacted Intel, but they said I need to contact hp, to solve the problem. Help, please!

    Hi @Ezedin,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Entertainment Notebook dv6-3121nr and issues with start/restart problem after downloading the software.

Here is a link to put the laptop in Safe Mode. From there, you can uninstall the software that is causing this closure.

If that doesn't help, you could return in safe mode and then you can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and do not go well on the Notebook. You may need to consider a day before the software has been downloaded and the question that's happened.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thank you.

  • Failed to start Microsoft Office

Hello, I am the owner of a new s5750z model HP with Windows 7 preinstalled. I use a dial-up modem. The first time I started the Microsoft Office Starter, it worked fine. Recently, I did a system recovery for a problem not related and tried to install it again.  This time, when I tried to access Microsoft Word, a window pops up the Manager of Click-to-Run around saying that Microsoft Word 2010 can not be opened. He said that I should "try again or fix it in the control panel" try again nothing helped, and I don't know what repair in the Control Panel means. If I remove it, I'll be able to install it again? Or, what do you think?

Maybe I should change the name of crymeariver. I studied this problem and tried a few bugs, which did not work. Finally, I called the support technique hp and spent patches trying time with their help. Also, my original thought that microsoft Office Starter actually worked on the first was inaccurate. It seemed to install, but I've never actually tried out.

The result is that installation of this or most other modern software products is impossible without the high speed internet. In fact, I could get with Notepad or wordpad. I wish just that my computer Setup $ 600.00 was able to print an envelope. So now that I have lowered my expectations a bit, can someone tell me how to print an envelope? If it is not possible with this computer, hp makes a device that prints envelopes?
