• case structure: to run once when the condition is true

  I have a case structure in my program. I use this to count the number of cycles in my experience. I have a knot of feedback (image of the program here attaced) within a box structure. I want the case structure to run only ONCE when the condition is "TRUE". Each "TRUE" represents each cycle. The problem that I'm facing here is that the box structure is permanently running as long as it is 'TRUE' instead of running once and wait for the next 'TRUE '.

  Temporaritly I use a timer inside (as you can see in the picture) to contain the program for the next 'REAL' to come. I hold as by case so I know exactly the time. Is it possible to make the case structure running only once when the condition become ' TRUE and wait for the next "REAL"?  OR is there any other loop that case structure that make this work?

  You really need to work on the analysis/description of your problem: you don't want to run the case as long as the entry is set to TRUE, but you want to run the case at the entrance of the past from FALSE to TRUE!

  Not quite right.  Both get primitive value time will run at the same time.  use an image sequence to force the order of execution, as shown.  I also brought in the relitve of accuracy seconds vi of VI. LIB\utilities because it depends on the clock of the system rather than the mSec timer accuracy.

  This could be an overheating problem.  If your CPU overheats, then the power will suddenly cut to your computer.  Boot safe mode starts with less processeses and running tasks and so your computer can run more fees.  Since you get 20 to 30 minutes, the way to check this is to download and run freeware 'CoreTemp '.

  It displays the temperature of your CPU and show you if it is not too hot before you stop.

  The two main causes of overheating are fans of CPU does not and a build-up of dust in your computer that acts as a blanket and causes overheating.   If overheating is your problem, open the case, check the appropriate fan and buy a can of compressed air to blow the dust bunnies.

  Another possible cause is bad RAM (memory) memory modules.  Try to remove and re - insert your RAM modules.  There are also tests of RAM, you can run - although they tend to be CPU, so you won't know if you have a RAM problem or a problem of temperature.

  Hello, I'm wondering how to create a task using the Task Scheduler that runs once a day, immediately after I have logon.

  The reason is I want to use Bing Desktop to change my wallpaper every day. However, I just want to run the first time I start my computer every day, so it will change the wallpaper. By default, it starts whenever I have to logon. It's annoying, because I just want it to start once a day to change the wallpaper. However, using the Task Scheduler, I put only a trigger to start "at the opening of session' or"once a day." If I choose once per day, it runs about 5-10 min after I login, instead of logon immediately after. If I choose the two triggers, then it starts after each session.

  Basically, I just want the Task Scheduler to launch the program after the connection the first time I connect to the computer on any given day. How can I do this?

• Impossible to get "Run once" to do something

  I have a Windows 2003 server model that we deploy.  I would like to issue a command "Run once".  Nothing seems to work.

  I tried the following:

  I prefer the .bat file method would work.  I have tried many variations and other very simple commands.  This very simple concept I'm missing here?  Is there a log somewhere that I can use to see if there are errors?

  Before I disassemble my pc, I am able to add a new graphics card with HDMI output? I would use my plasma HD tv as a monitor with my wireless keyboard and wireless mouse.   While the Slimline models are not intended to be upgraded, it can be done. Here's a great thread by Erico that should help you:

  The reason why this thread is relevant is that most likely, you will need to upgrade the PSU also.  Most of the cards that are capable of providing the type of tasks you want to do will require a card with more power that the existing PSU can run correctly.

  I am a controller using myRIO and labview where the program compares a value of the probe in a "Preset" and then choose a structure case depending on what type of air supply is required. What can be seen on the picture, for example, is 0 if saturated air supply is necessary.

  The structure of the event is used to send a signal to step to the stepper motors to open the valves (closing is still pretty much in the same way). In any case, the event turns my valves 90 degrees. I read the sensor all a second, however, when the case remains unchanged, the case runs the event again causing my engines running at 90 degrees per second (essentially continuously). What I'm looking for is a way to send the signal to step only once until a new case is selected.

  Apologies for any bad/cringeworthy coding, it is literally my first program always using labview. I can post the full VI if you need.

  I am currently looking to browse hundreds of text files my VI to run the VI once and having labview to open each text file in the order numberical that are contained in a single folder.

  In general, I ran each file one at a time through the VI, hours to browse all text files. I'm wondering if there is a way I can specify a target folder and then open each text file in the target folder and walked through my VI in numberical order (each file is located in the order that is MM_01, MM_02, MM_03...). Currently I open a file at the same time, through "the spreadsheet read", then the index table, and then run through filters etc to get the data I need. I hope there is a way to do it, because he will save days of work.

  I'm not sure what you mean by your first point, but I've linked a KB that tells you how you are able to implement a feature similar to the one you described.

  What concerns your second point, you can create a variable for transmitting data of LabVIEW, TestStand, and then tab Module step that calls the VI you can load the value of the VI in the variable you created. I have attached a screenshot showing an implementation of the present.

  Just to clarify your query in a loop, do you have a subsequence TestStand, you want to call once and then ignore the subsequence for each iteration of the loop after the first call?

  I use 1 file encoding to run tests on a number of different types of products.

  Right now I use a message box to the user to select the product under test and based on the return of the message box, I select the correct limits to laod with the shipper of the property.

  My problem is that I don't want to see this message every time a device box is test using test DUT. (only on the forst to run)

  Can someone please adivse the best approach to deal with this case.

  PS: I want to stay away from change my IO, I want to enter in the case of having customized OIs for different test sequences.

  To try to make my suggestion:

  1. open your movie file in the editor of Teststand.

  2 Select the pull-down Edit menu, select the sequence Callbacks... file option.

  This should display a new dialog box display the available callbacks associated with the process in use template.

  3. in the new dialog box select/highlite the recall of PreUUTLoop , and select Add.

  This should add a new subsequence to your sequence called PreUUTLoop file.

  Close the new dialog box.

  4. open / select the new PreUUTLoop under sequence in your movie file.

  Insert a new type of Message Popup enter group main step, add a simple text just to try the idea.

  5. run your movie file. The simple text you entered to appear as a Message Popup dialogue

  box, just once, before entering the test loop.

  6. If it works for you, replace step Message Popup with your steps that get user information.
