Pavilion HP14-F1027C: Touchscreen begins to tap the lower left corner on the screen

Touch screen starts tapping lower left on the screen and would not stop. It starts after 5 minutes. Had to hold the power button to stop it. A ran the microsoft malicious programs. Nothing found.

Found via MS notes on any issues in registry problems that back suggested in the previous period.

I ran the recovery back 2 Manager updated to 15/01/2016 sessions. The problem has been resolved.

Then, I sat with her through all the update processes to ensure that there is no problem update with each of them.

It's now works fine with no error touchscreen on the uptates later for 15/02/2016.

  • Why can't I reply to comments on reddit? When I hover over the link to the answer, I see javascript:void (0) in the lower left corner.

Some features of reddit do not work, including the ability to upvote/downvote 'save' and 'response' buttons on the comments. I see the message "javascript:void (0) ' in the lower left corner on the links doesn't work, so I guess it's relevant. Operation links show various long URLs instead.

I have already uninstalled firefox and reinstalled. I deleted the cache and cookies. I have reset to factory settings. I have updated Java. I've updated Windows. Java and Javascript are not the same thing

    • JavaScript is an object oriented scripting language that allows you to create dynamic HTML pages, allowing you to process the input data and manage data, usually in the browser.
    • Java is a programming language, a set of libraries and platform of virtual machine that allows you to create compiled programs that run on almost all platforms, without the distribution of the source code in its raw form or recompiling.

You can enter the Mode safe by the following text:

    • Hold the SHIFT key while double-clicking the shortcut from the desktop Firefox (Firefox must be closed)

Your "V - Ben" extension looks really suspicious. You must disable that. It is more likely adware.

You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one.

  • No url is shown in the lower left corner when my mouse cursor is stationary a link

    Hello
When I went to get a link that I used to see the url showed on the lower left corner, but it's been awhile that's either.
Is this a bug or this feature has been removed?
If it's a bug, how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

Status-4-Evar may not work properly or you have changed the settings.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

Most likely, you are showing the menu bar. Right-click on the toolbar area and uncheck the Menu bar - the Firefox button should appear. You can switch from one to the other.

  • the ToolTip that fleet upward when you hover over a link with a mouse works erratically if said the link is in the lower left corner of web page

So the title says pretty much everything that, but I would stay again.

There is a small balloon that floats to the top in the lower left corner of the browser window when you hover over a link on a page with a mouse. The address of the link leads, indicates in the ToolTip.
However, if the link in question is in the lower left corner of the Web page, the ToolTip floats high above right. Then he disappears to reappear a few milliseconds later. This blinking persists; You can neither do address or click on the link. By pressing several times shows RMB RMB menu for the link, which finally allows you to copy the link location and paste it into the address bar.

Try disabling the Redirect Remover extension if you have. Disabling this extension worked for me which allows the address bar that appears at the bottom left when you move to a link to the right in certain situations.

  • in ff 4.0.1 as a new page will load, a url appears in the lower left corner. How can I change that so I don't have this popup url?

This is where the bar of State of being.
with ff 3 I had disabled the display of status bar > status bar. with fff4, this option is not available.

with every page I load, this annoying url appears in the lower left corner, where the status bar used in previous versions.
It also appears to view the url of a link that I move my mouse on.

How can I change this? I don't want the url is displayed. its very distracting.

The easiest way is to use the add-on of status-4-Evar. With it, you can choose to not display the messages State or hover url preview, or rather display them in the bar modules or the address bar.

It looks like a problem with the theme. I see 'tooltip' in the right-hand corner in this case and not at the same position as this button.

You, me and many others (from discussions throughout the net) have this same problem. I had a few glances at Mozilla, take a look, they couldn't find a problem or a solution.

Here's what I found works - the problem arises on me when I upgraded to Firefox 3.63. 3.63 FF of uninstall and install 3.59. You can always download until the end of June or July I think.

My problems went away with 3.59. Seems to only affect users of Windows as Mac Firefox 3.63 works very well.

Found a few discussions pointing to ZoneAlarm Firewall time-out managers and some download tools. I have ZoneAlarm, so I don't think that was the cause, just another victim.

I wish Mozilla would pull the plug on 3.63, repackage as 3.64 3.59 and go back to the drawing board until they find out what is wrong.

  • M7-n109dx envy: touchpad is supposed to be located further down in the lower left corner? Not rinse.

I just bought a m7-n109dx desire and fresh out of the box of the touchpad seems to be depressed on the lower left corner. I guess this is supposed to be on par with the rest of the laptop? Someone can it confirm please? I already sent it once for the same problem. They have just swapped out. Who need to know if I got another bad or it is normal on this model. Thanks in advance!

    Hey @Wej1,

My laptop has this depression even at the bottom left. Don't know if it's supposed to be there for something special, or if it's just a part of the design however, you are not alone as many laptops that we here have a depression on the lower left corner of the touch pad. I'm not sure why this is, but it seems to be compatible with most of them.

    Please hold me.
