  I recently updated my Qosmio X 500-10T of 64-bit Windows 7 to 64 - bit Windows 8.1.
  I left Windows for driver updates.

  My configuration:-online (HDMI) Yamaha AV receiver (HDMI) Qosmio => TV LCD Samsun.

  _The problem: _ playing a video (in MPC - HC) file with 5.1 output only audio 2 channels PCM.

  Wouldn't be better to install Win 7 from Toshiba drivers, even if they are older, and for another OS, install drivers windows 8.1 since another Qosmio or leave pilots Win 8.1 found by Microsoft?

  This driver problem is made more problematic because I don't really know what components technical material in the machine if it is not as if I can find a victory driver 8 for them.

  To my knowledge the Win 7 drivers are totally different drivers Win 8.1 and I doubt that this Win 7 driver would work properly on Windows 8.1 System. However, you can test these drivers Win 7 too. But of course I recommend you to use Win 8.1 released pilots for other series of laptop.

  As I m wrong not the Qosmio X 500 has 2 audio drivers required: Conexant (chip CX20583-10Z) of his driver and the audio (for HDMI) NVIDIA driver

  I installed Windows7 on my laptop DV7-1285DX in order to test the new operating system. I d I would like to know where can I get some audio drivers that will make my computer laptop-s speakers to work properly.
  
  At first I noticed how the lack of bass. Then I searched and installed the driver sp41698.exe but I only hear the bass speaker and the mute icon on the quicklauch on the laptop Panel is always on orrange/red and there won t change color; He cut the sound (bass speaker). The main spealers produce no noise.
  
  any ideas on how to solve this problem?  I'd be happy.

  Yes, it is resolved. The thing is that I know exactly how I did it. I think that I reinstalled the drivers like crazy until it fixed somehow itself. I also have problems with the touch-bar where the MediaSmart, Volume and rewind, play/pause, forward, stop icons are displayer. I had the muted orange light volume always displayed and it also attaches...

  I removed Vista and installed XP Pro Service Pack 3, but I can't find the audio drivers right. I have a Toshiba Satellite L300N.
  I tried the audio driver on Toshiba download page. I also tried to install KB888111xpsp2.exe (support of the SAU) but no luck.

  Why drivers on the Toshiba site do not work?

  In addition, you must install both patches from Microsoft. The second version (KB888111) isn't enough if you read the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
  You must uninstall version 1.0 of the Audio class driver high definition UAA before installing version 1. 0a.

  Then please install the hotfix else too: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/835221

  After installing the pachtes you can follow with sound installation.

  I am trying to install an Azus HD 6670 graphics card in a pavilion of 500-054.  I changed the power supply so it has enough juice.  When I put the card in the machine it sounds right and I get nothing.  The CMOS Setup program is without help it seems to miss more configurable options.  Any ideas?

  I have upgraded to Windows Windows 8.1 10 yesterday (August 1, 2015).  The update went well. However, there is no sound on my computer. The sound in the tray icon has a red x and not said: "no speakers or headphones connected," when I pass the mouse over it.   Wow - sound like you are having a bad time of it with the upgrade.

  If you have a processor AMD APU - which I guess you, like A6, A8 etc.   Usually, AMD has integrated drivers for the video and audio of the computer.  Did you go to the Web of AMD site with your specific APU (integrated CPU and GPU) to see if they have updated drivers for Windows 10?   The manufacturer of your laptop (I guess HP) should also have at them, but HP seems to be asleep at the switch with this version of the OS.

  Check the AMD site and search for your specific APU.  There should be some built-in support for Windows 10 post.  Usually, you simply run the .exe file and it installs everything.  It would be worth it anyway before return you to Windows 8.  And... Yes you can easily restore your latest operating system.
