  If the error is repeatable (i.e. exactly the same when the reprint of the same document, the same driver on the same unit), then it is likely that it is caused by a driver (or the driver settings) fault.

  There may be a driver available, or (according to the printer model) you may be able to switch to a driver using another Language of Description of Page( PCL5 or PostScript instead of PCL6 (the name of 'marketing' for PCL XL PDL)).

  If the error (s) is/is random, they are much more likely to result from intermittent corruptions of the stream impression generated between the desktop and the device (cable control, ports, switches, etc.).

  With the PCL XL error information, it is possible to compare a (repeatable) error with an analysis of a print stream (captured using the option "print to a file") and (sometimes) work out what was wrong with the operator at the given position (which indicates the number of operators until and including wrong) and so (maybe) lead to a workaround.

  Such an analysis can be performed using the PRN file analysis tool in the whole PCL app, available via http://www.pclparaphernalia.eu

  HP will not develop a Windows 10 driver for this printer. The best option is to buy a new printer or get a laptop computer with the operating system prior to Windows 7 because this error occurred on Windows 7 computers due to inadequate software support driver for the printer. Perhaps a simple shooting turn also works as described in the link.

  When you try to print, you get the message as PCL XL Error, error InternalError 0 x 50.

  PCL XL errors occur when you use the PCL6 drivers.

  1. What is brand and model printer?

  2 - is the printer test page print correctly?

  To fix the problem, you can try to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers.

  Also, you can turn off the printer for 30 seconds and turn it back on and see if the problem still occurs.

  Suddenly, I'm unable to print documents on all HP printers when they used to work perfectly. To print a test page for my work printers, printers print a page saying: "GE publ.   After finding a few other posts of similar problems, the solution is simply to disable to moy. Their new updates randomly intereferes with printing.

  I use this printer for years.  It works beautifully.

  Windows 10 has just done an update & the printer driver disappeared.  I use this printer with a HP Jet Direct J4135A usb card.  Now any driver or what I do I try to install or use, I get the same error message.

  I am trying to use the printer driver's upd-pcl6 - x 64 - 6.3.0.21178.exe.  The printer driver appears in the settings & is by default we & they say that everything works correctly.

  Found the solution for everyone that might have this problem.

  Just right click on the printer icon in the Device Manager and select printer properties / Advanced / change & driver driver HP Color LaserJet 4550 PCL6 ranking to HP Color LaserJet 4550 PCL6 and click OK.  That's all there is to it.

  Now, it will work with USB (HP Jet Direct J4135A Card) that is not supported, instead of just supported network.

  • The document contains images and text.
  • The police is not supported.
  • Embedded fonts are used.
  • A special plug-in is used.

  The simple solution is to change the pcl6, postscript or pcl5 driver.  This error only occurs when you use pcl6.

  Thank you for your message.  After researching this error, it does not seem to be associated with the host-based driver.  However, the pilots are the responsibility of the manufacturer.  Click HERE for some of the latest HP patches.  I found that they have a difficulty of PCL XL for the 3500 and 3700 models.  It is possible that the 3700 fix might work for you, even though we cannot guarantee it will be.  Please let us know if this or help to solve your problem.

• Error message - it can not correct

  I recently acquired a HP LaserJet 500 color MFP M570 PCL 6 printer.

  As I put in place I really struggle to print documents.

  I always get the error message is:

  "The unexpected paper size. Load the letter in the tray 2 ".

  The printer prints a page, then a blank page when I press OK, but that's all.

  Can someone help me manage the settings to remedy?

  Could be a fault of the driver, or intermittent corruption by the hardware, or (as explained in http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Software-Drivers/M175Nw-PCL-XL-errors/m-p/4940252 ) the result of a recent update of AVG anti-virus.
