• What I'm missing here: Canopus ADVC110 Footage vs CS6?

  My Church uses Canopus unit to capture a DV (avi) movie on hard drive.  I edited successfully these images in this workflow for years in CS4 and CS5 (omitted, 5.5).  CS6 arrived, I tried to use it, but quickly returned to CS5 because of the problem I describe.  I would like to finally move to CS6 now (and CC soon, I hope), so I want to understand what the problem is with CS6.  Here's the question:

  I reduced it down to the original files of the images captured from the Canopus AVI. PP begins to conform to the sequence, as soon as it hangs for a very long time.  Initially, the small thumb preview displays a picture.  The progress bar in line displays (but no progress). But the monitor displays the images offline. Meanwhile, any click in the PP window gives a "(ne répond pas) suffix ' in the title bar." Finally, the video sequences, given enough time, appears and rubs, but without audio, the audio wave and with no progress bar form consistent.  Meanwhile, there is no error message.  Given the time consumed and the lack of audio, I have not beaten nor in the edition.

  I suspect it is a x 64 codec with the canopy problem.  Does anyone have experience with this workflow and this problem?  Is the hardware or software solution?  I need to replace the Canopus?  If so, I need recommendations please.

  Is there a DIP on the Canopus switch? Ideally, you want to maybe the audio 48 k, maybe the 32 k audio is the question? See if you can change to 48 k source

• Meet the VPLS and EoMPLS circuit

  Hi all

  I have ASR1006 IOS - XE as router PE who have connected to another model with the same PE. And I have VPLS put in place to provide E - LAN service. Interface of multiple GE on the two site have joined this group VPLS. Now that we have an another EP (ISR G2 router, use small scale) who must join that group VPLS. Since IOS ISR G2 do not support VPLS, we can get EoMPLS(E-LINE) service.

  Is it possible to interconnect VPLS and EoMPLS.  Referring to the below example configuration, can I do 110 the Service Instance as a member in bridge - 10 field? Is who would eventually interconnect EoMPLS to VPLS? All the router currently in production. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

  I have not tested but I think it should work. We have the two Eompls/VPLS in a hub-and-spoke topology. However given that this topology is not entirely mesh you must disable split horizon for PE2 and PE3 talk to each other.

  I would opt for configuration 1.

  Use the Raid0 of 3 x 500 for a fixed return for 8 or 12 GB file, cache of media, previews and rendering files.

  Use the D drive for projects and exports and the E drive for your support.

  Take a look at the GV/Canopus ADVC110 or the analog ADVC300 for DV capture and external monitor.

• Editing a BlackMagic AVi file

  I have the first Elements 10.  Offer a service convert an Avi of Blackmagic of 8mm film.  I have no material of Blackmagic.  I have Win 7 64 bit.

  PE10 will read this file so I can edit the file.  Do I have to get the new codecs, and if so, how I do that?

  If the modified file is saved on the hard disk, it will be Blackmagic Avi, or what?

  Many BM of the CODEC available for download and installation. I have a couple that I had to use with PrPro, and they worked OK, but not 100% without problem.

  That, however, does not mean that those same (or most recent) WB CODEC will work in pre.

  There were a few users (think that they were on the Meadow 8 and 9, and I don't remember one recently), who tried to use their cards of BM with pre and I don't remember any success. I would like to do a search of this forum, to see what these users have reported. They, IIRC, have tried to use the material and not only of the CODEC, so their results may not be useful stuff. Even with the PrPro, that supports the world BANK cards, there was problems with the drivers for the card. In most cases and even memory, when users received the updated drivers on day of BM, things were going well. BM seems to be of a mind that they need to update their drivers, especially with each new version (update or upgrade) PrPro and accelerate quickly. Yet, a few weeks ago, when a card, and WB projects resulting declined, pending for new pilots.

  Maybe a pre user 10 has experience with the WB CODEC and can give you a definitive answer to your question, I just have a few general and probably not very useful comments.

• How to export a part of PE9 video?

  I just upgraded to PE9 (from PE2) and can not find the same menu options that allow me to export only some of my video to a file or a DVD.  Anyone know where are these parameters?  Looked in the PDF file online, but no luck to find this info.

  For most of the sharing options, there is a check box for action work area Bar only, which allows only part of your project output.

  However, due to the nature of the DVD and BluRay discs, this function is not available on the output of disc options. I'm sorry.

• PE2 - what is the difference between 'cut' and 'clear' in the current project?

  When removing items from the active project area, what is the difference between 'cut' and 'clear '?

  I think as 'delete' is an option sometimes, but I could not reproduce it.

  Cup should delete, but don't Clip in the Clipboard transfer, where just claire will remove completely - no transfer to the Clipboard.

  That can be tested by making a cut, then move the CTI (indicator of the current timeline) at the end of the timeline and press Ctrl + V (paste). This deleted item should appear after the ICT.

  Then, delete (or select a different Clip) the Clipboard and try Clear. It should not paste the Clip in the timeline.

  Hello world. I hope someone can help me please. I have two computers windows xp professional 32-bit and the other is windows 7, both were working fine until yesterday. My problem is that I can edit software.and they both were captuering fine.and computers just stopped at the captureing even time. It really seems I spend most my time troubleshooting. I just want to enjoy what i ' am doing instead of hating what I like to do. I firewire1394 0n computers. Also, I plug this into a canopus converter box. And he remains in analog mode instead of going digital in. I also have the red yellow white wires that go to the converter for the camera.and of course the small hooks to the converter firewire and 6-pin computer.everything was basically works fine and when windows computer with xp does what I then spent to the windows computer 7 and it's the same thing. I ALSO have the regserve and driver boost software I ran two of them and retried. Please someone that skills tech really good please help. And also is their some software I can get that will keep this where I can capture. Also, I forgot to mention the digital video camera that I use are twice are is oone of mini dv jvc model GR-D71U and the other is GR-DVL815U. If I had the money I would not pay mine. But we have very rough now my wife has lost his job 18 months ago and I am disabled. Please ANY HELP WOULD REALLY BE APPRECIATED. • PE2: Possible edition of HD?

  Believe it or not, to my daughters birthday party, my camera (7 years) still and video camera (5 years) has stopped working.  Since we had a large coming family vacation, I bought a Nikon P500 still / HD camcorder and I'm just starting my first project of PE with the video from this camera.

  Does anyone have experience in video editing HD with PE2?

  While I'm just starting the project (rendering the chronology is still ongoing) my first impression is that my system can't handle the HD files very well.  I don't have a smooth playback (audio or video) that I am the timeline view.

  (I used PE1 and PE2 years.  I used to publish frequently years ago, but once I've mastered PE2 met all my needs for my old sony portable dv cam and I didn't need help for many years and never upgraded to a newer version - never needed to.)

  I'm wondering is - this is my PC or made PE2 will solve the problem.

  I would like information from those who have tried editing HD on PE2.

  I would not recommend first Elements 9 for you for two reasons:

  (1) your system is the limit for version 9. You will probably not be satisfied with its performance. Especially if you have a laptop.

  (2) camera is a CoolPix rather than a digital SLR - so even with version 9, you will be continually made your video while you work. That can get old very quickly.

  You can check out a program called Quicktime Pro. It is available for $29 Apple. It is an ideal program to work with Quicktime (MOV) video, especially of the cameras. There, of course, not the editor of Premiere Elements is - but he can do some basic changes.

  I'm sorry, but if you are serious about video editing with Premiere Elements, you will probably need to update your computer and your camcorder. (Or at least take a more traditional camcorder. Used Sonyminidvs can be done on Amazon and eBay for as little as $100, and they are ideal sources for standard def video.)

  OK, let's try this again: unless the plugin was written as a 64-bit plugin to work specifically with first Pro CS5 and beyond, it will not work. Period. No. 32 - bit plugins work with first Pro CS5; This includes the plugin VideoFX of Canopus. It does not matter where you place it, first Pro CS5 can not use it. If a 64-bit version of this plugin is written for first Pro CS5, it will work; in the meantime, you will only be able to use the standalone version.

  So, to summarize: this will not work.

• Define and save the preferences / default to save for Web?

  I used PE2 forever, even though my Mac OS updated. Now, however, on Snow Leopard, I had to me PE8, and I'm a little lost. In PE2, if I used the same custom setting to save for Web, after awhile, it just kept and that somehow became my default. It was wonderful. Now, in PE8, the JPG quality is always set to 0. I'd like to something that I like (I'm not completely happy with the presets), and which have been raised by default. I thank very you much for all your help.

  We all want that. Theoretically you can option-click on the help button and it turns into a button store, but unfortunately in practice it is usually just as distracted as if you had clicked. If you're lucky, he might remember an editing session, however.

  Technically, Yes, there will be loss of quality because you're going from a 'uncompressed' analog source a 25mbps, 5:1 compressed digital video streams intra-image. This can be minimized as much as possible by using the component on the bridge of Beta - although I'm not sure what Canopus box, you are editing, so you won't have this ability. The ADVC-100/300 have component, so you are limited to composite (ick) or S-video (a little less ick). Combine these factors and technically you will be incurring a loss of quality. In practice, though - it's for you to decide.

  I capture bands SP with a map of Blackmagic DeckLink SP designs, using components. However, I use DV codec that I capture with-in my case, I am satisfied with the quality. When I'm ready to this project, I'm going to go to no compressed, but for most of what I do, DV is sufficient. The shooting game for this project uses a time-top-of-the-line Betacam camcorder, with on a piece of $24,000 of glass at the front. Even capture DV, it is better the pants out of what I've seen most of the camcorders DV - and I don't speak great full DV camcorders as DSR-570. It's amazing what makes a good glass of difference. It's just another thing to consider.

  EDIT: Oh, Yes... If you capture this way, simply use a standard NTSC DV preset. The files that you find are no different from those who come from a miniDV camera.

  I read the recent postings to the digitization of the multiple DVD and found it to be very interesting and informative. I searched in the archives, but did not run in an ad with exactly my question and I apologize because I know there must be others with the same question. I have Adobe Premier elements 3 but I am ready to buy another form of software and another form of external hard drive. I have a Firewire port.

  I have a box of old VHS tapes of the recitals, dance my child, ball games, etc... the bands are very long, but often have only small portions of interest on them and now that my children are older, they are only interested in the 5 minutes of themselves. I would like to import the video and burn to dvd the relevant parts of the VHS.

  I need to know both the equipment suggested to use to connect to the computer... what software I do you suggest that I use to edit images. Or maybe you have other suggestions.

  I used the first a bit. I've never used huge files, like an endless dance recital so I hope you tell me there's a way that I could perhaps find a device that would allow me to view and scan only the parts that I want... or, perhaps, it would be best to take these tapes somewhere and have it make a DVD and then is there a way to import only part of them in this way? These are NOT videos of world class... (in fact, 20 years later I realize how much I was wasting my money! (HA!)

  Here's what I did, more like an accident, rather than a process thought to spend a lot of money, or get the best possible quality when converting.

  I had a bunch of old analog tapes, just like you and always thought that it would be very kool to get them in a format that I can use and load on my PC.

  When I bought my DV Handycam, one of the options I was looking for was "Analog passthrough' capability. This basically allows connect an analog device such as a VCR and a video copy of your Handycam.

  Office "DVD burners" usually have analog connections and can basically do the same thing.

  With this feature, I then slowly went through the process of moving all my old recordings on my PC.

  It did not work, yes he did.

  Was it easy, Yes, it was (to the extent of the connection cable).

  Has been tedious and a little of your time, Yes, Yes and Yes.

  But over time I had all my old recordings on my PC and in a format that was initiated for the edition. (You can also make some changes in bulk to source the conversion).

  (One caveat, with Canopus or bridge HW configuration, the process is faster because it allows you to directly analog to DV - AVI. And DV - AVI is the goal of format for easy mounting with PE7).

  A sure thing, my family and my friends get a hugh expel to see (because they are older in years).

  And no one ever complains of the quality of the videos...

  When you get the new iPod, you can use iTunes on your computer to select and synchronize the music you want on it, in the same way that you synchronize your current iPod - your iTunes will recognize them as different devices and will remember your choice of synchronization for each, it will not (unless, for example, you restore the backup of your current on her iPod) put the same content on both.

  In order to synchronize Notes between your Mac and iPhone, you must configure iCloud > http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/

  But this requires macOS Sierra 10.12, the latest available version and the last iOS available for your iPhone.
