People App problem

I recently bought a tablet of 8 flow HP with Windows 8, and I can't remove contacts from my application to people. He connected to Skype, and I don't want that. How can I get rid of contacts on this app?

If the person is in your Skype contacts, you can't remove them from the people without any app:

(1) remove this person from your list of Skype

or

(2) remove the link to the Skype app entirely so no Skype contact will never be listed in the people app.  To do this, go to people app, then settings > accounts and remove the Skype one.

    Hello, recently I have a problem with my Skype account which is shown connected any time in 'People' app in Windows 8.je think it's a problem with the application because I can't see in the account settings Skype my account is linked with my Microsoft account.   • problems with people app

    I have problems with the application of people, I imported my contacts, but I don't see any of them if I want to send an e-mail, but if I open the app from people that it self I can see them, anybody have an idea?

  • People app; Cannot import contacts

    Hello. I'm not having any luck import my contacts in the people application :-(. I have a lot of contacts in Outlook, and this account (my main account from Microsoft) appears under 'accounts' in the settings. When I opened this account however, it shows that E-mail as content to synchronize. I created an outlook.com account and added that the people app, and when I check the settings for that one, it shows emails, contacts and calendar as "content to synchronize. I've also added my Google gmail account and my Skype account, but the contacts of those who do not appear either. Under 'options' Google, Outlook and Skype are checked in 'display only those contacts '. On the homescreen in the lower right corner, it says that I'm connected to 2 accounts outlook, Skype, and Google. I tried to turn it back on the shelf, the people app and outlook without result. Any ideas?

    I have three questions with the people app.

    1. the app shows that my Microsoft and Skype accounts are added to the application. However, it seems that only my Skype contacts are there, when I try to add my Hotmail account, it is said that the account has already been added.

    You can try this: uninstall your e-mail application by touch for a second or two and then slightly swipe down - this puts a check mark on the tile and brings up a bar at the bottom of the page. The bar select uninstall, it will uninstall Mail, calendar, e-mail, and people (they are grouped). After that they uninstall make appear your charms and tap Settings, tap the start icon and select restart.

    Sign in the Surface, go to the store and reinstall Mail, this will reinstall Mail, calendar, e-mail, and people. When they are resettled first go to people (not Mail). If you use your Hotmail account as the Microsoft account to connect to the Surface, he should automatically be implemented, if not add it.

    When you add your Hotmail account to one of the four bundled applications it is automatically implemented in all four.

  • People App "your password changed. Sign in with your new password'.

    I cannot synchronize the application 'People' in Windows 8. Whenever I start the application it synchronize for a second and then tell me "your password changed. Sign in with your new password'. I have not changed my password at all and it won't connect or sync with anything. Any ideas or anyone who deals with this problem? I tried to change the settings, uninstall and more but no luck.

    I had the same questions as everyone else ("your password was changed... ("error, only Microsoft app listed, adding Facebook didn't work, etc..).  I also used an e-mail provider.

    I tried to switch to a local account, restart and return to a Microsoft account.  It worked!  Microsoft and Skype both appeared in the people app immediately (Skype was not there before, but I had already installed the app) and I was able to add Facebook without problem.

    After the switch to a Microsoft account, I got a text asking to confirm my PC with a code.  I followed the instructions and did.  I have no idea if it was part of the original or not problem.

    I'm at my wit's end, and I hope that someone in the Windows 8 community can help me.  Here's the context:

    I already had my application of people connected with my Facebook accounts and Twitter on my old account Live.  I created a new account to Outlook.com, proceeded to add it as a user on my PC under Windows 8 and then registered in so that I could connect my Facebook and Twitter accounts for people App.  Immediately, the connection Twitter - after clicking "Allow application" - produces an error message "Unable to connect to service" on Windows 8, but on the list of allowed applications, Windows 8 Twitter is listed.
    Facebook and others are very well connected.
    I have tried several things to get Twitter to connect, including:

    -Deletion of all my apps connected both my old account Live AND my new Outlook.com account and then add just my while Outlook.com account that logged on to Windows.
    -Repair of the MetroUI
    -Uninstalling and then re-installing People, mail, calendar, etc apps.
    -Back to zero (not just refreshing) my installation of Windows 8
    ... and nothing seems to work.  I keep trying to add my Twitter account without success - I get prompt approval, connected to Twitter, click "allow" and then redirected to an error message "Unable to connect to the service" Windows 8 - but Twitter shows that approval has been granted.
    Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this problem?  Everything that I might be able to do to solve this problem?  It is a new installation of Windows 8 Pro with NO other apps installed.

    I just want to close the loop on that and let people know a workaround on how I managed to solve this problem.  First of all, until I do it, I just want to thank Microsoft Support to work with me on this subject for more than three hours on the phone before concluding that the problem was entirely at the end of Twitter.  In short, it is a known problem with a small subset of Twitter accounts and only Twitter can really solve this solution in "resetting" your account.

    Second, it must be clear that the problem is corrupt the credentials of the API from your Twitter account, which cannot be interpreted by the shell of Microsoft Services.
    I corrected it as follows:
    1 has created a new Twitter account.
    2 changed my Twitter handle on my old Twitter account to a placeholder.
    3. to change the name on my new Twitter account to the previous name, which was my old Twitter account.
    4 connected the new Twitter account to my Microsoft Services.
    5. related former Twitter account, on behalf of the placeholder, Microsoft Services.
    6 unplug the two Twitter accounts.
    7 rename the new Twitter account to another name, that you don't care, in order to free the name that you care.
    8 retrieve the former name of Twitter (original) with your original Twitter account.
    9. connect the original Twitter account to the Microsoft Services.
    And in fact.  This approach above worked for me; I don't know if the reset user name changes or refresh the Twitter API key assigned to an individual account, but I was finally able to connect the accounts after that I had made the change of name.
