  Please could someone advise a simple way to the following

  If you mean less than a full circle, you can select directly one of the 4 segments and press DELETE to remove 25%; for the other angles, you can use the scissors tool or a path as described below.

  If you want the part circle to be filled, you can add straight segments of the Center to the ends of the circumference, otherwise the fact already in connection with the cut that in the solution below.

  You can click where you want to cut with the scissors tool, or you can create a straight path that goes from the Center to the circumference, turn then a copy around the center of the desired angle, then select both and Ctrl / Cmd + J to join them, then object > path > divide objects below, and then delete the unwanted path. • How to dimensionnera the JPG in Illustrator image?

  I have skills that are very basic in Illustrator, but known 'reasonably' in Photoshop. I am now trying to create a version vector logo in Illustrator, but the logo contains an image raster JPG for example.

  My question is how this part of the logo dimensionnera like us resize it?

  Not very well, I'm afraid.  Being a JPG file, it has already been compressed and may introduce artifacts that will improve only in larger sizes.  You basically broke rule number one: don't use bitmap images in a logo file.  There are solutions, but the best thing to do is to recreate the bitmap in vector graphics image areas.  I know, not an easy task.  If you absolutely must have the bitmap displayed in the logo, you will need to create several different sizes of logo using Illustrator of high matrix resolution.  That would mean regenerating the (original high resolution file > tiff) image several times more to each new size file.  Possible, but not really a solution.

  How can I use it on a map of visit/site Web etc if I can't identify it with my logo? Also, if I change the illustration, would I be able to use it on my site and my logo?

  By rules of the Bank I can not use anything smaller than 8pt fonts on disclosures on any of our advertising to work materials. I would like to implement a fail-safe to remind me that I'm stupid and using fonts that are too small. I made in InDesign but would do the same thing in Illustrator (and photoshop if possible).
