Performance issues after upgrade to view 5 on Windows 7

I'm having a lot of performance problems after upgraded to vSphere 5 and 5 view connecting using PCoIP.  Interaction with the virtual machine are slower with either double or single monitor.  I tried all solutions different workaround proposed on the site of Teradici.  If someone has bugs or suggestions about how do to clear up things please answer.

Add the following line in the vm config file.

mks.poll.headlessRates = 1000 100 2

It should solve your PCoIP lag problems, let me know what your results are.

  • Question connection with Blast after upgrade to view 6.1.1 ("your office may have a security certificate not approved")

    Hello guys,.

We are facing a very strange problem with Blast after the upgrade to view 6.1.1. Let me show you the scenario:

We have two security servers (paired with two servers connection).

On both servers security (and on the servers of connection), the default self-signed certificate is used.

Secure Tunnel, PCoIP Secure Gateway and Secure Gateway Blast are activated.

Users access it from internet via Netscaler which balance the traffic load and present a trusted signed certificate.

For now I won't go in deeper into the Netscaler configuration, as it was working fine.

We were on view Horizon 5.2 and everything worked fine! ...

After the upgrade to view 6.1.1 we are unable to connect using the web browser! We can open a session and select the desktop, but as soon as the connection to the desktop is launched, we receive the following error message:

    "Your Office has been disconnected.

Try to reconnect to the office...

Your office can have an untrusted security certificate. Click here to accept the security certificate, then try to connect to your desktop again. »

    error.png

If we click on the link, we are redirected to something like https://Blast_External_URL:8443/r/F386565D-D068-4AC1-BFD3-3A903CBEB235/certAccept.html , receiving a blank page with the following text:

"Could not resolve the route of proxy for the request.

Just before the upgrade, we have been able to use the HTML Protocol! We have does no change at all, so I really think it's related to some changes introduced by the new version of Horizon view, but may not know what is causing the problem.

No problem connecting with the customer to view Horizon (PCoIP and RDP).

If in the external URL Blast Secure Gateway, we insert the hostname of the server security instead of the external URL (Netscaler), we are able to connect but of course only from our local network.

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you.

    Hi Calyps0Craig,

Yes, I found a solution for this. In our case the issue was resolved by changing the configuration of Netscaler.

In the past, we use SSL offloading and worked all protocols. It seems that with the new version of view SSL offloading does more work.

Change the Service and virtual server on ports 443 and 8443 for SSL to SSL_BRIDGE solved our problem.

    Hope this will help you.

    Best regards

  • Equium P300-16 t: a few issues after upgrade to Win 7

    Hello

I just moved my Equium P300 16 t from Vista to Windows 7 and everything seems to be fine. At least, everything works.

Before the upgrade, I downloaded some Win7 drivers, and other files (things like Config fr.;) Hardware configuration; Card reader controller supervisor password utility. TEMPRO and others)
Device Manager shows no problems I have to install one of these elements.

I think that if it is not broken, do not fix. But I'm not sure about these.

Another thing, after a series of updates from Windows, I lost the Windows event sounds.
They work when tested, but not in use.

All other works of his property, and that's the only driver Toshiba I installed where he fixed, but not good.

    Very grateful for any advice

    Thank you

    > I believe very much that if it is not broken, do not fix. But I'm not sure about these.
If there is no yellow exclamation point and no unknown devices are visible, this means that you have installed all necessary drivers for don t be worried

    > Another thing, after a series of updates from Windows, I lost the Windows event sounds.
Well, are the different selected sound for unique events? Or maybe that sounds have been cancelled? This should be checked

    > All other works of his property, and that's the only driver Toshiba I installed where he fixed, but not good.
Well, you can also try to update the audio driver
The laptop seems to support the audio chip Conexant CX20561 you can search for updates on the internet, but to be honest, if the sound works fine (except for the event sounds) so I wouldn't change anything personally I disabled all the sounds of the event on my laptop because I don t like this

I have a HP Pavilion dv6910us.  I've upgraded to Windows 7 without problem, but now every few minutes, I lose my connection Wireless for a minute and he reconnects on its own.  I connect to an Apple Time Capsule.  I also installed new security Trend Micro Internet for Windows 7 and thought that might have something to do with it, but when I disabled Trend Micro the problem still was there.  I tried the HP Wireless Assistant; that was of no help, and when I used the troubleshooter in Windows it could not find a solution.  Any help would be great.  Thank you.

OK, after an update to the large windows and a reboot everything seems good bo.  Thank you very much for the help.

Hi all, I have a MacBook running and just put 10.10.2 upgraded to version Java 8 40. You'd know ASDM began to 'freeze' after that I connect to the device and ASDM is attempt to analyze the configuration. What happened when I hit an ASA 5545 9.3.1 running code (ASDM 7.3.1) but it does NOT occur when I type an ASA5520 9.1.5 older code running (ASDM 7.3.1). Odd. Anyone else seeing this? Sure enough when I drop Java to 7 build 75, AMPS works well again when I connect on these devices.

As a test, I improved ASDM to 7.3.3 and moved to the top of the size of the heap by the release notes, but that did nothing to solve this problem. ASDM freezes again as his attempt to analyze the configuration (about 2 to 4 seconds after I login).

  • Problem with desktop/taskbar after upgrading Fusion 4 to 6 - Windows 7 VM

I got a few problems after upgrading to Fusion 4 to 6 with my Win 7 x 64 bit VM Fusion. I use a Mac Pro with the Mavericks. While I managed to resolve most of the issues with a manual installation of the VMWare Tools and reconstruction/reactivate a certain number of broken programs, there is suddenly a new which is serious enough. My office is not displayed, nor is my bar of the shortcut icons for the launch of the program tasks. I can access my desktop to the user manually folder and all the "stuff" is there. " If I run a program from the icon appears in the taskbar, but it cannot be pinned. When I access more nothing, I get this popup (see image). I'm sure that's the issue. Anyond can suggest a solution, please?

    Hello

The network error is gone I hope?

You have to set up folders mirrored under sharing with OS X? (Menu-> Virtual Machine-> settings-> sharing-> mirrored folders). If you use mirrored folders there, then what happens if you turn off this feature to test and see?

I don't use this feature myself, but imagine that allowing a case mirrored for Office could eventually hide something on the side of windows.

  • iCloud issues after upgrade to El Capitan

I thank everyone in advance for the contribution to this issue.  I have an old MacBook Pro (13, 2.5 GHz Intel i5, 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3)) and I recently upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan (10.11.4).  I went to open my iTunes application and when I did, he said that "your music library iCloud session has expired' and asked my Apple ID and password.  I have entered the information and click OK.  The icon turns thought appears and at this time there nothing happens.  I work with other programs, but nothing ever changes with iTunes.  I finished by force he quit smoking (even if it does not does not stop not in the menu to force).  I restarted the computer, search for the updates and tried again with the same results.

I went online and tried to login to iCloud via a browser and it worked perfectly.  My other devices (iPhone and iPad) both work very well, so I don't think it's a problem with log in information.

I then went into system preferences to try to connect to the iCloud thanks to this icon.  When I click the iCloud icon in system preferences, I got the small multicolored wheel and again once it froze the program.  Some menus don't ever popped up.  When I had to force quit systems of preferences, he said that the application did not.

I would like to be able to get for my music, podcasts and device management.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Patch T.

Try each in order to test your system after each see if it is back to normal:

    1. a. reset the PRAM and NVRAM on your Mac.

    b. Macs with Intel processors: reset of the controller (SMC) system management

    2. restart the computer in Safe Mode, restart again, normally. If this does not help, then:

Boot to HD recovery: restart the computer after the ring, press in and hold the

COMMAND and R keys until it appears the Utilities menu screen.

3 repair the hard disk and permissions:

When the Utility Menu appears, select disk utility. After disk utility charges select the disk out-bumpy entry (usually, mfgr. ID) of the list on the left.  In the disk utility status area, you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is faulty or has failed. (S.M.A.R.T. status is not reported on external drives Firewire or USB). If the disc is "verified", then select your OS X volume in the list on the left (entry indented under the entry for the drive), click the first aid tab, then click the repair disk button. If disk utility reports any errors that have been corrected, then again run repair disc until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, click repair permissions . Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility. Select restart from the Apple menu.

4 reinstall the 10.10.4 update: OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 Combo Update.

5 restart from HD recovery. Select reinstall OS X in the Utility menu, then click on the button continue .

  • Connectivity issues after upgrade to 6.5.0 remotely

    Hello

After the upgrade to 6.5.0 I had naturally create and update an account MyNetgear to use ReadyCloud on our 2 NAS boxes. At the beginning it was a headache because he beat absolutely all remote access (as others in the forum mentioned). However, I found that the main way to solve the problem was to leave ReadyCloud on both of our NAS devices and then join again (in addition to some full power cycling for luck). It seems that no device was able to make a clean break from the old normal upgrade process ReadyCloud accounts.

One of the devices is now working to distance again, but when I try to log in second place that he just always says that ' a user space with the same name already exists. Change the local or the username ReadyCLOUD'.

The problem with that is that the only account on the device is "admin". In addition, as new ReadyCloud connections use e-mail instead of user names addresses, I can't imagine that ever, I created an account with this "username". I looked through everything I can find in the admin page and I can't find other users anywhere. I even went through all network protocols in the settings window for our single part, and "admin" is the one account mentioned.

I did reinstall an OS, but it doesn't help.

Can anyone suggest anything? Thank you

Default factory reset solved the problem at hand, as well as several other insidious old problems such as errors of certificate which browsers panic whenever I tried to view the page admin and downtime of 5 minutes about (something on this unit is not really older than a year or two).

Effective it's good, it is difficult to recommend default resets to a lot of people. 18 TB of backup via a gigabit connection isn't funny. Yet, it is not for lack of Netgear 10Gbe is so crazy expensive.

  • Performance problem after upgrade to 10G.

    All,

We have recently updated to 10G (Version: 10.2.0.3.0) after which the sub query causes the problem. This query is written within a pl/sql package called by a Perl program. The Perl program for still runs without end of the work in a few attempts and sometimes it ends very quickly. We made some kind of debugging and found that whenever the program is raise stucked in this below given query and not the processing of same here if we leave 2-3 days. During a successful attempt, it ends with 3-4 hours. This request is to take 2 explain plan as shown below, and it seems that one of them is the best and the other is worse. Plan 2 is the best and plan 1 is worst.

Y at - it suggestions to fix this and the reason why two explain plans are picking up?... NUM of records on the tables is as below...

Can you please provide me with details as I am a beginner in the performance of these concepts?

Your help will be very appreciated...

As we already mentioned, please read the FAQ and use appropriate tags to format your messages.

For example, please use the noformat} [{noformat} code {noformat}] {noformat} before tag and {noformat} [{noformat} / code {noformat}] {noformat} tag or after the noformat} {{noformat} code {noformat}} {noformat} tag before and after to improve readability.

You don't need the re - publish, you can use the function "Modify" to edit your existing messages.

    Regarding your question:

Among the changes, the most important in 10g are collection of default statistics, which runs by default, every night and the setting changed default setting METHOD_OPT, which is now 'for all THE COLUMNS of SIZE AUTO '. It was "FOR ALL COLUMNS SIZE 1" in 9i. The parameter "method_opt" affects column statistics. 9i 'SIZE 1' means that no histograms will be created. "AUTO SIZE" in 10g means that if the column is used in predicates (for example using equal or will the comparisons) and the data are biased Oracle will create a histogram.

A histogram can cause your execution plan change. Since this statement used bind variables (because PL/SQL uses by default) and is so optimized using 'bind variable peeking', the execution plan generated depends on the actual values passed when the statement is parsed.

If you are unlucky with the values passed when education gets analyzed you might end up with an implementation plan that runs poor for most executions remaining because Oracle will not be re - evaluate the execution plan as long as the statement remains in memory cache in the shared Pool.

Note that this change in 11g with the introduction of 'Adaptive Cursor sharing'.

For more information how to check if you have this problem and how to fix, please refer to this section of the excellent blog by the Pythian Group:

  • Backup issues after upgrade to iOS10

    Dear users of Apple,

I updated my iphone 6 more yesterday with iOS 10. Phone works quite well. But I have my phone backup problems. I usually back up my phone with my iTunes Macbook (Via cable and sometimes on wifi). But after the update to iOS 10 it seems that I can't back up my phone more. I don't know the real cause of this problem.

    1. I am not able to save my iPhone via wifi data in iTunes. (Previously it was not the case).

    2. I tried to back up my phone using the cable also. Also, I pressed "Trust" this computer, but I get this error message. Please see below.

Also, I allowed my computer by disconnecting iTunes and logging back there. And yet I have the same issues.

"iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because an invalid response was received from the device."

Does anyone know what this answer is invalid can be?

Do I have to change the settings in my phone or iTunes?

    Help please!

    Thank you very much

    Deven

Did install you the latest iTunes? iOS 10 requires iTunes 12.5.1.

  • Qosmio X 300 - 14U - game performance slow after upgrade to Windows 7

Hello. I hope someone can help me.

I upgraded my X 300 14U to Windows 7 32 bit without too much problem. But the game is terrible. I play Battlefield 2 on the spot (which should cope easily this laptop) but the graphics deterioriate after about 5 minutes of play. Then it crashes to the desktop. On average settings, it is much better but not perfect.

so I tried to update the graphics drivers and managed to get the new version 8.17.11.9716 of the drivers to install nvidia (not easy) but the gameplay is still the same.

    Anyone has any ideas please

    Hello

I'm not a gamer and do not know much about them. Have you tried to update all the drivers for windows 7? Is this compatible with win game 7? Perhaps, you must install DirectX or something like that.

You have restarted your device since the upgrade?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
