  So we have a web/application server we put 8GB of RAM for. It runs Windows 2008 R2. People have been complaining that memory is pegging or 90% of use so I'm going on the VI client go to the performance tab and check memory and chose the week and then select the % of use. Well use % has an average of 9% with a maximum of 26%. I received a page from the operating system task manager invited memory being attached to 99%.

  What I'm missing here? Is VMware misrepresentation something or I don't mean to the extent of the right?

  My computer is an Acer Aspire with an E2140 1.60ghz processor, including a 200 GB hard drive and 1 GB of ram. I am running Windows Vista Premium Edition family. However, my computer seems to work slowly and very inefficient. I did everything I can to restore its performance. My question is, quite simply. If Vista Basic reguires only 512 MB of ram and vista premium Edition requires 1 GB. My pc would have better performance using vista Basic instead of Vista premium edition? Because how basic requires less ram? Or replacement with basic premium would cause my cpu to work hard?

  There is no difference in speed between the edition of Vista. You can try to disable the Aero glass theme if your graphics card is too slow. Now, the CPU is more used to render the UI rather than the GPU. How much is your RAM used?  Look in Taskmanager on the used/cache/RAM values of the free.

  To improve the speed, you should switch to 2 GB of RAM.

  I work with large images of a digital Beter light on a camera 4 x 5 - and I have a few images that reach 2 GB in file size (approx. 44 x 66 inches at 360 DPI and 16 bit).

  How can I get CS 5, PS to use more of my 16 GB of RAM?

  I'm always on Snow Leopard - Mac OS 10.6.8 and everything is updated to Apple and Adobe...

  Everything you said Verizon is false. The iPhone saves all data sent over the cellular network. There are some data types that will always pass by cell phone:

  • Visual Voicemail
  • MMS messages
  • Push email notifications
  • All data that is transferred when the phone is asleep and not trendy, WiFi is disabled when the phone is in sleep mode to save battery

  Verizon numbers and phone numbers may be different for an entirely different reason. Records of phone as sent or received data, but do not count data that fails to send and which must be retransmitted. Verizon has this data. This happens usually if you have a very low cell signal.

  My experience with AT & T, is that their number and phone match almost exactly.

• Count unique dates in a date range

  Hey all - I need to count the number of unique of a column of dates dates. The complication is that I only need the unique dates associated with a particular person. Here is an example:

  

  In this example, Bob has 5 single dates associated with his name, Jane has 4, and Doug has 2. When the list is short, like this, I can count just straight up, but more often that otherwise, I have a list of 1000 + lines long, often with dates outside the range that I've specified, so I need a formula.

  You want to count the number of dates separate for which there is at least one record of Bob and to do the same type of count for each others. only single date on the table (and this is unique only in the context of column A in the table) are in line 2 and line 5. All other dates in the column occur at least twice.

  

  This table uses an index column that will contain the names to be counted. The highlight is not necessary; It's a Visual check that I used to match the number of Visual with that calculated in column G.

  Two formulas are used, one to create the index values in column D, the other to perform counts in column G.

  D2: = IF (COUNTIFS(A$1:A2,A2,C$1:C2,C2) = 1, C2"," ")

  COUNTIF uses two test-values, pairs of condition to determine the number of times where this date-name pair has been entered upward at this line in the table and include the line in the account only if the two conditions return TRUE

  • A$ 1: A2, A2: the date on the line (in the range $1 to "the line") is the same as the date in A2 ("this line of the column A")
  • C$ 1: C2, C2: the text on the line (in the range 1 $ CAN to 'this line') is the same as the text in C2 ("this line of column C")

  The County is passed back to IF.

  IF it is equal to 1, fits the text (name) on this "line" column D, where it can later be counted.

  IF the meter is not 1, IF inserts a null string in 'the line' from column D.

  The formula is filled down to the end of column D and generates the displayed list.

  G5: = COUNTIF (A"> =" & $ 2, A G, "< ="& G$ 3, D, "=" & F5)

  COUNTIF employs here three test-values, pairs of condition. Again, all this should return TRUE for a row to be included in the count.

  • A"> =" & G$ 2: the date in column A is as of the date in cell G2 "

• Will be performing tasks VISA with a data acquisition (Dev1) in a VI block tasks with the second DAQ (Dev2) VISA in a second VI?

  I have two functional screw a loop a set of read and write tasks with device 1 (NI USB-6008).  The second loop a set of writing with device 2 (another NI USB-6008) tasks.  2 VI has a massively slower than VI 1 time scale, which means that it must run in a separate loop.  Otherwise, VI 2 was created by copying and modifying 1 VI and variable names actions with him (though not, for example, global variables).  The two screws are meant to run at the same time on the same PC.

  However, if VI 1 is running at the same time as VI 2, any read operations or in writing to 1 VI 1 device are executed - but the VISA read and write operations to a serial device work.  When VI 2, all VI 1 functions work fine.

  Although I configured channels for tasks using the GUI DAQmx, I execute tasks using reading DAQmx write commands and have correctly defined the task 'create' and 'stop the task' live out the beginning and the end of my loop, respectively.

  Does anyone have suggestions for what could be the cause?  My thoughts so far:

  a. maybe it's some conflicts in the names of variables in memory between the two screws?

  b. LabVIEW for some reason any cannot read and write two devices on two separate screws?

  should c. I avoid to use DAQmx to configure these tasks (a sort of memory)?

  I know I can make it work if I have all together in a single massive VI, but for my application, it is much easier and better to do them in two separate screws.

  In case anyone wondered, I found the solution:

  When I copied the original code for a new VI, it turns out that the structures of loop timed in the new VI had the same object name in the delivery structure of LabVIEW as timed in the original VI loop structures.  This prevents effectively regardless of the VI was executed the second execution of the timed loop.  (The serial number read/write suite to work because he was in a different timed loop.)

  I found this error when I ran the VI in execution of highlight mode and noticed that the output of 'error' on the timed loop flashed.  When I plugged it on my error stream, I found error-808, which explains the above problem.

  I have it set by right-clicking on the timed loop, change to a while loop, then change to a timed loop and plug the broken wires.  LabVIEW gave the new timed loop object a new name, and all was well in the universe.

  It is a common area of confusion.  The camera behaves actually ideal, but if you haven't been shooting flash years you can't guess why he does.

  When you meter with flash, the device ignores especially flash.  The meter performs the measurement of available light only.

  When using E - TTL (really E - TTL II), the computer in the camera calulates the amount of energy needed to properly illuminate the subject based on your parameters of exposure... but without taking into account the shutter speed (so he only cares about the ISO and the opening...) Eh_bien, please make sure that the shutter speed is between "synchro-flash" unless the flash has sync high speed enabled.)

  This is because the available light is more or less 'continuous', the flash is a temporary source of light.  The camera needs to use a shutter speed, or less speed 'synchro-flash' of the camera (which varies depending on the camera and is usually of the order of 1/160th to 1/250th sec).  The max speed 'synchro-flash' is based on the amount of time necessary for focal plane shutter mechanical to slide fully open, leave the flash fires, and then slide off completely.  The need to operate in this way is based on the design of focal plane shutter.  The shutter using two doors or "curtains."  Slides opening... the other follows later and closed blades.  If there was only a "curtain" then pixel near one edge of the probe (where it begins to open) would technically get more light then the opposite edge of the sensor... because the "curtain" should be reversed.  Using two "curtains" and having them both in the same direction, all pixels travel technically are exposed during the same period.

  The amount of time that the flash light is usually extremely brief.  It varies depending on the flash model and also the level of power - but it could be as short as 1/4000e sec... but regardless of how brief it lasts, it can pull until the shutter is fully open or part of the probe will he is blocked from light.

  Ultimately, this means that if you use an extra filling long exposure (for example assume that you set the exposure for a 1 second), the flash fires... (say it lasts 1/1000th sec) - but leaving the shutter open longer will not increase the amount of light received by the flash, because the flash is now gone dark.

  This extra time long exposure will improve the ability of the camera to collect more ambient light, even if it will not collect more light on the flash.  When using the flash, you start thinking about each shot as two different exposures... exposure to 'available' light and exposure for the 'flash '.  Changing aperture or ISO settings affect both all too... but change the shutter speed only affects the part of the 'light' of the exhibition because the flash is a temporary light source.

  Suppose you are in a room with low light... you take a picture with flash.  If the camera exposes ONLY for flash, so your subject is turned on, but the rest of the room seems to be almost black and the shooting doesn't look very good.   But if you leave the door open more then the camera can collect more of the available light and lighting will be better - you have some balance and depth to the picture because you will be able to see the bottom.  This technique to leave the shutter open longer is called "dragging the shutter" and this is the best flash photography.

  It is one of the main reasons why you want your camera to the counter for the available light even when using flash.

  The other reason is for photos during the day.  I use flash to shoot outside during the day (it's actually one of the best times to use a pop up flash).  This is referred to as "fill flash".  The idea is that the Sun is lighting your subject, but the flash fills in some of the deep shadows, so they don't look so tough.  You don't want the flash to try to compete with the Sun.  If you set the flash exposure compesnation-1 and take the picture.    You're doing similar things if the subject is in the shade, but the background is Sun - to balance between the subject and background lighting.

  I'm looking to acquire data from a map PXI-6143 using SignalExpress 2014. I am the acquisition of measures of the frequency of one of the built-in counters. However, SignalExpress does not show this entry as counter available for data entry. See the attached picture for my setup:

  First, look at the couple of serial examples that come with LabVIEW. You use the VISA functions to read and write. Your technique to separate the values will work as well in LabVIEW. You would be to convert the string returned by VISA reading to a digital (i.e. with the Scan of the chain). Then do the comparison, then the result of wire to one of the two indicators. Put the terminal of each indicator inside a case statement would be a way to do it.
