Hello
You can do this, but we need to change the registry. If you are comfortable with editing the registry, see the following documentation.

There are three sites listed in my Start Menu that are incorrectly typed. Attempts to remove them as usual absolutely no results. They just sit there, constantly, aggravatingly using space that I prefer to use for something else.
Is it possible to withdraw outside the right click and click on delete from the list that does not work on this pc.
Operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium.
Hi again!
Please start by back up the registry. How you do that, that is described here: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/backup-registry-windows-7.htm
Then, create a restore point. How you do that, that is described here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/create-a-restore-point
Now you can try it without risk of finding the registry entry.
Type regedit in the search in the start menu and choose regedit.exe by clicking on it.
You are now in the registry editor.
On the left side under the computer, click on the small arrow next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER to expand a list of items. Search for software and to extend it again by clicking on the small arrow next to him. Now search Microsoft, it redevelop and image search for Windows. Expand it and look for the current Version. Expand it and seek to explore. Expand it and look for Startpage2.
Note: on the bottom of the window, the following path should now appear: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StartPage2Now, left-click on the 2 home page and search Favorites in the right part of the window. Click on, and then choose delete all values starting with 'Favorites '.
Now your StartMenu must be empty, and you can begin to pin anything you want here.
I hope this helps!
See you soon

Why I can't find & pin to start menu (Win7 x 64) Clipboard.exe?
What is the file name of "Cipboard.exe" in Windows 7 x 64? And it's ok to pin it to start again?
(please don't tell me she's everything changed) Used Sticky Notes briefly a few weeks back; hum Ho.
Excuse my ignorance. Capable enough to some things!
The Clipboard is in Windows 7, but there is no request to see.
When you copy a text, etc. it will to the Clipboard and allows you to paste what is copied somewhere else, like XP.

Pin a network to the start menu shortcut
Everyone figured out how to pin a netwrok to the start menu shortcut? I tried to do it the way they say it, right click and select PIN to start menu, but the option is not there for programs on the network. I was able to find Documents and Settings/User/StartMenu and I dropped the military in there, but they are not yet appearing on the start menu. Help, please.
Thank you
JessicaCreate a folder on your desktop called networking programs or files, and then drag the icons for the files or programs in there. You can then create a new toolbar by right-clicking on the taskbar, go to toolbars and add the new toolbar. From there, all just point to your folder on your desktop and the appropriate files will appear in your taskbar tasks. It's not pretty, but it works.

The axis in the Start Menu option is missing
The "Pin to Start Menu" command no longer appears on the shortcut menu. How can I get that back? I have a Toshiba laptop with Win 7 Home Premium. When I right click on an icon I could pin the program to the Start Menu. It worked fine until a couple of months and I have no idea why he is no longer present.
You can uninstall AVG and see if it comes back.

How to remove an item from the start menu in Windows 7?
I tried to install a game written for an earlier version of Windows. It did not work, but when I uninstalled the program, he left an icon in my Start menu. I can't find a way to delete the item in my Start menu.
If I click on the link, I get a message that says that this is not a valid Win32 application.
If I right click on the link, I get options:
Play
Run as administrator
More games from Microsoft
Support
PIN to the taskbar
PIN to Start Menu
Sort by nameI miss the opportunity, we usually need to change the Menu start manually!
I did all that, although I had to 'Show hidden files' in two different places, but the guarded program reappear, even after that I deleted everything that I could find that had "Lemmings" in there. I had installed the program on the D drive and I could delete it, but the next time I saw the Start Menu, it would put a file on drive D named Lemmings Revolution.exe (with no data in this document, 0 bytes).
I tried the support link from Microsoft and the thought that should work, but alas, I didn't have the product code to enter the FixIt program when asked.
I finally took a huge risk Open regedit and then sought to any occurrence of the word "Lemmings". I deleted everything in the registry that referenced "Lemmings", then returned to the D drive (in the command prompt) and deleted the above programme, after that I restarted my computer.
So far, it seems to have solved the problem...
(I knew after you remove some of the registry keys, one of the contained key code product I could entered the FixIt program, but by then I had already made changes.)
Thanks to everyone who tried to help me!

The program is listed in "all programs" but do a right click on it does not give the "pin to start menu" option as it does for programs that was shipped with Windows 7. (Please do not suggest that I drag it from the office to the menu start, in the start menu closes as soon as you click on anything, which makes it impossible.).
Too bad. I just tried something and it worked. I did drag the icon on the button start not open and here!, he was pinned to the menu. So, I answer to my own question.

You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.

I created a file Excel indicating the PSW for various web sites. Can I pin it to the menu START? How? or how can it be opened automatically whenever I turn on the computer?
XP doesn't have a PIN at startup option. Or did you mean ask in another forum?
However, just because a program is in the Start Menu, which has not carried out it during startup.
Retrieve the icon of the shortcut for the program in question and drag the button start and without letting go of taken, when her opens the Start Menu, do the drag it to the startup folder and let it go. Who should have the program start when Windows starts.
