  To "transfer" your personalized portfolio URL, you must delete the IP address associated with ProSite (98.129.62.40) and add your new IP addresses. (see instructions below)

  To summarize, here are the steps to set up a custom domain.

  STEP 1

  Point your URL on your portfolio. To do this, you must change the DNS of your domain settings. Filling it is a bit different for each service, but it will probably consist of:

  Change the default a record for your hostname (yoururl.com)

  Change the a record for your subdomain "www" (www.yoururl.com)

  In two of them, set IP address to the IP address that is provided in settings > domain name (in the portfolio editor). (Please note: we offer two IP addresses.) The second IP address is another, and not all providers DNS are both supported).

  STEP 2

  Finally, enter your domain name customized in the editor of portfolio, in areas--> field of masking. Enter your custom domain name, and then click "add a field".

  If you are referring to your own personal domain as "MyName at mydomain.com" email then you should be able to change the host very well.

  You need to change the e-mail servers in the DNS.

  I just got my Storm-love it. I put it to the top with gmail (which seems very well) and my personal domain email (which is not).

  Whenever I have reply to or forward emails with html, the resulting message reach its destination scrambled.  New e-mail created on the BB are fine.

  The error happened when I responded to messages from Yahoo, verizon and aol (so far).  I tried to disable html in the options, but it did not help.

  I have a drop of menu navigation, it is a Summit laid out horizontally, with a second horizontal under menu that appears when you hover over an element (portfolios).  Once you have selected a wallet from the submenu, the submenu disappears.  I want to stay visible, while a portfolio is selected (the two titles highlighted will better tell users exactly where they are) and then disappear when a different top-level menu item is selected.  You can see here.  http://tinyurl.com/4g6vnkg  Hover over the link portfolios to see that the business portfolio is selected.  Navigation is connected to my site, if you accidentally tap use the opposite arrow link to return.

  I tried to change this property, but it changes from the top level of the portfolio items on and the menu items SUP at a vertical list, can someone tell me what is missing?

  Just to let you know, this menu is not touch friendly.  There is no hover on mobile phones and tablets.

  The links are much too small for easy finger taps.  In fact, they are a bit too small for the movements of the mouse, too.

  My advice is radically to resize your menu to the top and be the submenu called onClick which keep visible no matter where the mouse of the user happens to be.

  When you publish the site of Muse at Business Catalyst, simply put a name for your site, which will then be included into a URL for your site. Say, if you put the name brizierke, the URL will be created in the format brizierke.businesscatalyst.com (this URL is known as the system of your site URL and will remain forever in the site and cannot be deleted). There is another similar URL in the format brizierke.worldsecuresystems.com (this is the URL your site secure and cannot be deleted either). Now, this does not mean that it will be the only the URL of your site and you cannot add your own personalized website domain name. You can do it too.

  Note that the site is still in trial mode and is not online. The site becomes a site online, after using the option "Launch the Site" in the "Dashboard" section of your Business Catalyst site. Once the site is online, you can see an option that says "Add a field" in the same section of the dashboard. This option allows to add your domain name on the site.   After you add your domain name, you will see that there are 4 URLs in the areas of the site of your site section. Two being those that I mentioned above and the other two being versions no www of your personalized domain name and www.

  It is a corporate environment. There is a remote desktop that has 6 users. All had access to network drives including their personal record on the network. Today they no longer have access.   I recently picked up a non-profit operations in the city with offices in three locations in the city.

  We have a network domain server and exchange server at the main office where I work, and the computers in the other two offices are on the field.

  (I guess that VPN configurations in our routers keep everything connected, but maybe I'm wrong on this issue..)

  My problem is that when the internet at the office of the admin (where the servers are) breaks down, desktop to other locations have DNS problems and cannot connect to internet... and personal devices connected to WiFi that I provide to these places are struggling as well, being able to access only certain sites and sometimes no access at all.

  I think many computers to assign IP addresses, although I have added computers I have built and/or formatted and installed myself that work very well on the field.

  Why computers to the other localities are struggling to DNS and impossible to connect to the internet when the domain server is offline? What can I do to change this? I want our employees to always have internet access if the servers log.

  (Being a non-profit in this city it is the COMPUTER with most of the companies not having budget do not)

  The problem was the result of a secondary DNS server is not located in the router from the same place. My computer guy said Comcast as the secondary where the main DNS (my domain controller) server is not available... problem solved :)

  Well, I do support funds for a University that has all their PC on an Active Directory domain and all computers running Windows XP, essentially a user asked me to attach a USB printer to his PC just to share it with others in the Office of the Pc... simple right? So I did and printer sharing worked well, but it works just fine if I turn the firewall the host PC that is attached to the printer off or if I take the PC out of Active Directory. So if I reset the PC host on Active Directory or put the firewall on you cannot share the printer. I checked the exception in the firewall to ensure that port TCP 139 is there and it is, I spoke with the it Department of the University on this topic and do not know what to say. So I come to you guys, if she is Active Directory, which is the cause then I would really the skills of a person on this issue please! Im just a desktop support guys I don't know much on Active Directory.
