Personal e-mail from blackBerry Smartphones

My camera is through society and on a BES.  However, I have set up accounts of e-mail through hotmail, yahoo, etc., in order to follow my personal e-mail.  My understanding is that these emails do not go through the BES.  So, if I understand correctly, the only way these emails could be seen by the company, it's if they can really get into my BB and read them on the device itself.  Is this correct?  For any other question here?

Thank you

Your company may have a policy in place to force all outbound messages to send via your BES.  It is also quite possible that there is a piece of software on the HH which report data back to a database in your business... That said I don't know any that capture BIS built-in accounts like that, but it's quite possible.

Roughly, if your BB is on a BES, you should assume that everything is logged, tracked and archived by your company.  By default, the newer versions of BES record all phone calls and can connect all SMS or a pencil with the flick of a switch.

  • Personal e-mail from blackBerry Smartphones is synchronized with the company

    I have a BB Bold 9000. ATT is my service provide.

    I have correctly configured my gmail account as an email on my BB account. I had two icons of mail on my homepage - one for business and one for gmail. The emails have been separated. After I installed the improved application of Gmail, my gmail starts to synchronize in my corporate ACCT. I uninstalled the improved app botgh and gmail account. When I went to reinstall gmail since the BB device, he took the synchronization on the behalf of the company.

    How can I keep these two separate accounts?

    Hello

    The Messages folder is not your corporate email. It's a fodler for all messages to appear.

    in the folder following Messages will be displayed:

    -E-mail BIS s account (up to 10 of them)

    -SMS

    -MMS

    -BB PIM messages

    -BES email accounts.

    Remember that and you'll be good!

    PS: some options for SMS and MMS, etc. to be stored in separate folders, but it's the exception, not the rule.

    There are other ways to "separate" BES Corporate e-mail accounts, but these must be done on the BES server...

  • Receiving e-mails from blackBerry Smartphones

    Can anyone provide me with a phone setting (Storm 9530) that increase the speed at which I receive emails on my phone from my main email account.  I am not part of an Enterprise Server.  Stand single individual who receives the e-mail on his phone after receiving in my main email account.  It seems to take three to five minutes for the e-mail to be delivered to the phone after, he is received on my email account.  Suggestion are appreciated.

    Hi rcsimma

    Only accounts GMail, Yahoo, GoDaddy, AOL and Hotmail supports delivery in real time to your BlackBerry.  Other accounts of e-mail, such as IMAP, POP, OWA, working on a polling interval where BIS go if the e-mail server for new messages and then broadcast them on your BlackBerry.

  • Personal e-mails of blackBerry Smartphones not appearing is not in messages

    Hi - I have my work put in place by email as my email address on my bberry. I just put my gmail via settings e-mail account. Now, all appear in my messages, my work emails AND my gmail emails. I want them to be separate, so when I click on the Messages, I get only my work emails, and when I click on the browser with an envelope icon, I have only my gmail emails.  Is it possible to have only my work emails show up in the messages and have my gmail appear in my e-mail gmail browser icon? Thank you very much!

    There is currently no way to separate them, you can have a personal folder on your device icon, but they will all go to your main messages screen.

  • Question to delete E-mail from blackBerry Smartphones

    When I delete an email on my BB, it is sometimes said, "on mailbox & handheld ', and sometimes it just says: 'delete '.  Why the difference?  What I would like is if I delete your handheld it removes Server messaging as well.  How do it always gives me this option (if that's even possible)?

    Jesse

    Jesse, you have more than one e-mail account set up to push to your BlackBerry?

    Go to your main messages folder > Menu key > Options > Email reconciliation.

    Set your preferences to delete it for each e-mail account.

    Laura, read my post above... "please call your operator. "it's your ISP that you pay money for the phone's SIM card.

    Yes, it will cost money. They will be able to tell the exact cost. You must have the service that includes data of BlackBerry.

    Good luck.

  • Emails from blackBerry Smartphones retaining on the mail server

    I just got my new storm and love it.  I use an e-mail account personal via Comcast which is linked to the storm.  Is there a way to change the configuration of e-mail on the storm so that it does not delete emails from the comcast email server, when they are sent to the storm?  I also use MS Outlook at home to keep my emails managed at my office.  I know that in Outlook, I can choose to not delete mail from the server after downloading and want to be able to do this on the storm so I can drop later in Outlook on my PC.

    Thank you.

    Access the Messages. Then press the Blackberry menu button to get the menu message. Go to Options. In the E-mail Options for reconciliation.  In this menu, you should find an option delete on.  Specify this Handheld.  Then on conflicts, the value wins box mailbox.

    If I remember correctly in the web based Blackberry server personal email to installation site, when you email account settings, you should be able to dissable the possibility to allow the Blackberry to delete the contents of the email from the server.

    I think this should do it for you.

  • Attachments to the e-mails of blackBerry Smartphones can not open the Storm

    My office has MS Exchange and emails are using Outlook. I receive e-mail messages on my phone that are sent through the Blackberry Desktop Redirector program.  Emails cross, however, I can't open attachments in e-mail on my phone.  He's saying "this type of attachment cannot be seen on your device."  The attachment is a Word document created on a Word 2003 program.  PDF and Excel files will not open either.  Word to go and sheet to go appear in the applications folder and appear to be installed.  I can't get email attachments to open.  Is this a result of the Blackberry Desktop Redirector program?  My office uses a system of e-mail MS Exchange (Outlook).  If the redirector is the problem is it another way to get emails from Outlook and open the attachments?  I love this phone, but I need to be able to view the documents that are attached to emails.  Any help would be appreciated.

    redirector does not support attachments

    redirector is an old dinosaur of a program with so many limitations

    DTM to uninstall, reinstall using the option of personal e-mail to remove the redirector

    on your BB go to advanced options options-service books and remove books 2 service called DESKTOP

    then you integrate your email through OWA/BIS

  • Can someone help me please to find the number of sms sent from blackberry smartphones?

    Hi all

    I'm new to the blackberry smartphone application development. My requirement is to manage the sms sent from a blackberry smartphone like finding the number of SMS messages sent, the destination not like that. I tried running messagelistener, sendlistener and outboundmessagelistener, but something did not work well. So can someone please help me to solve my problem?

    FYI: 1. I've implemented outboundmessagelistener but couldn't find a way to add this port for listening to my request.

    2. I set up sendlistener and added to my application of the method SMS.addSendListener which does not also carry out my requriement.

    So, please help me if you have an idea in these aspects.

    Thank you

    Sanath

    FOR INFO:

    Import net.rim.blackberry.api.sms.OutboundMessageListener;

    SerializableAttribute public class MainClass extends UiApplication implements OutboundMessageListener

    Public Shared Sub main (String [] args)

    {

    PAP MainClass = new MainClass();

    To make the application enter the thread of events and start treatment

    messages,

    We invoke the enterEventDispatcher() method.

    theApp.enterEventDispatcher () ;}

    public void notifyOutgoingMessage (message Message)

    {

    If (this instanceof text message)

    {

    Here you can not manually counting the SMS

  • Messages from blackBerry Smartphones not always display in the Inbox on the Torch 9800

    Hey there. I apologize if this has already been answered, but I search through the forums and have not yet found an answer.

    I have a Torch 9800. Since I got it, I noticed that, sometimes, the messages will appear in my Inbox. My phone will ring when I received it, and I'll have the 'new messages' icon on the home screen, but clicking on the messages icon that leads me to an empty Inbox.

    I noticed this behavior affecting the e-mail (my gmail account is the only one that I have will the blackberry), messages text and two customers different third-party chat.

    I have no message filtered to different folders, or something like that.

    By clicking on "View file" check my Inbox is selected.

    But that's where it gets weird: if I compose a new message and send it, when I go back to the Inbox, all messages are displayed.

    It's almost as if the Inbox is having a problem displaying the list of messages, but as soon as I push a new element to display (message sent recently), shocked it back to life.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    use a PC to day so you'll have a good backup.

    Manual device OS upgrade instructions:

    1. start by searching for your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

    2. make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. Get DM here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

    3. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."

    5. This step is not necessary unless there is a problem on the next steps. Use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup), then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) then proceed to step 6

    6 remove the internet connection for PC and reboot the PC.

    7. plug the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file was in.

    8. If you did step 5, restoration of the back upward. Follow this KB if necessary http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB10339

    Take advantage of the new operating system.
