  When I download a video file (.wmv, usually) the video starts to play on the screen of the monitor prior to my being able to use Download Helper to download the video and save it on the hard drive. This generally translates the video stopping and playing and stopping the process of download because of the speed of download available. There is never any problem with the final download hard disk.

• Download helper no longer works for YouTube. Reinstalled Firefox and DH with no changed.

  You Tube seems to be the only site affected. However, I was able to download Wednesday without problem. DH works normally, I select a download option, it starts and ends quickly with a result of 0 MB. I tried to change the download location, name or the extension of the file and still the same thing.

• Firefox 5 opens three legs to start: welcome Firefox to my home page and to update download helper 4.9.3 to 4.9.4. I put the browser from my home page and nothing else. How can I fix it?

• I get errors during the installation of Download Helper

  I went and found the error log and it says to clear my cache and or wait a few hours and try again. It's been several weeks and I can always install it. I tried to completely uninstall the Download Helper and reinstall and get the same error.

  There may be a problem with one of the files which stores details of the installed extensions. Try to delete these files as described in the section "Corrupt extension files" of this link - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Unable+to+install+add-ons

  Although this article is not specifically about your problem, the method indicated in the corrupted files extension section can help. When you restart Firefox after you delete these files, the list of installed extensions is rebuilt and cela hopefully solve your problem.

  Look for its requirements.

  I remember something similar happening to a friend of mine, but the sound of it, your phone can be updated. Aka what stop app works with earlier versions.
