PFN_LIST_CORRUPT-BSOD
So, I have had this problem since I finished my pc and I can't seem to find how to fix it. I even checked my memory and memtest said that there are no errors. I'm just checking if all my drivers are updated.

PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, BSOD. What can I do to fix this?
Hello and thanks for reading.
I was doing a BSOD for a few days now. I recently reinstalled Win 7, hoping to correct the error in this way. It did not help.
I read on the forums here to the kind of research this problem until I posted. Some people say it could be the memory, so I ran a Memtest, and all checked.
I have also seen where people were invited to publish their minidump files, so here they are:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ma4xxyfcywtdw61/TCp3p7xbmc
Are there any suggestions? I ran the Windows Driver Verifier ', which was suggested in another post, but the BSoD did not immediately after.
If you need further information, I will be happy to provide, as much as I can.
Thank you in advance for your help!

HelloI'm getting several of the above mentioned blue screens. I've been troubleshooting by Googling the mistakes, but I had no luck.Specifications of the PC:Pentium Dual Core E2500 2.5 Ghz4 GB OF RAMWindows 7 Ultimate 64 bitGeForce 8800 GTI do not understand that the pc is a little older but the RAM is brand new and not that old hard drive no more (about 2 years)I did everything that is normally offered on this forum for similar problems.
- CHKDSK /r
- Memtest. I ran it for more than past 5 / 6 hours)
- downloaded a provider's Web site hard drive controller and checked the status of my drive.
- sfc/scannow
everything came back without any error. The blue screen that appears to be more common is PFN_List_Corrupt. I downloaded Blue screen View and the file which is the cause(and all other blue screens) is ntoskrnl.exeIs there something else to blue screen I can provide, perhaps address, which will help find a solution? Here's the latest dump files:- https://SkyDrive.live.com/redir?RESID=5AE939C6E0E525A7! 146 & authkey =! Request for support for several BSOD in Windows 7
Over the last 2 weeks, the computer broke down several times with different BSOD errors.
The first BSOD was the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I tried to re-install some drivers to fix the problem, but in vain. Errors are rather erratic and produce generally halfway to my gaming sessions.
Using the view BlueScreen, NirSoft, I will list down the errors in chronological order. They are:
16 Feb - 1: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (caused by ntoskrnl.exe)
16 Feb - 2: BAD_POOL_HEADER (caused by ntoskrnl.exe)
18 February: BAD_POOL_HEADER (caused by ntoskrnl.exe)
19 Feb: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT (caused by Ntfs.sys)
22 Feb: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA (caused by ntoskrnl.exe)
24 Feb: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (caused by ntoskrnl.exe)
Mar 1: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT (none specified)
Relevant minidump files have been uploaded to:
https://onedrive.live.com/redir?RESID=B3664A02E3311178! 250 & authkey =! AOL1nu3zgcjSWXs & ithint = % 2cdmp
There is also a document .txt with all Bug Check parameters for each error. read somewhere that it might help.
Can someone help me through all the mistakes to help solve my problem? There are quite a large number of files to dump downloaded due to the number of different accidents to date. Not sure where all are concerned.
Thank you!

Problems started with PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
I ran the memory test several times without any problems. I ran full antivirus with MS dry Ess and AdwCleaner analysis.
I studied the messages and articles regarding the use of driver verifier.
When I run it, set up, restart, immediate BSOD but no file listed and no discharge minidump or generated memory.
F8 annoys me for a secure start to reset.
The only thing I can think to do is to select only some of the non-Microsoft drivers and keep trying to reduce it to the driver.
Anything else I can do?
To ensure the minidumps are enabled:Click Start, in the search box, type: sysdm.cpl, press ENTER.
(In victory, 8 you can use the 'win' windows key + "s")On the Advanced tab, click on the Start button and recovery settings.
Make sure that automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the heading of the writing of debugging information, select partial memory (256 KB) image in the drop-down list (varies from 256kb).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as % systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.
If the minidumps are still not created, check these reasons as to why that may happen
For landfills to produce what follows must be correct
Paging file must be on the same drive as your operating system
The basic file size must be greater than the physical RAM installed
Windows Error Reporting (WER) system service must be set to MANUAL
Value file system run on the operating system drive
The value of options/crash recovery system "kernel memory dump".
User account control must be running.
Sometimes the SSDS with an older firmware are not DMP (firmware update)
Applications like Ccleaner cleaner remove DMP files to avoid them until you're fixed.

Several times a day I'm especially crashed with a BSOD, but it freezes sometimes "simply". I did a disk check and a memory test. I can go back to last August, but I suspect that will not work, because it hangs in Mode safe and even crashes if I run Linux on a CD.
I see a different reason for each accident, in the window that opens after the re-login, the BSOD is not always tell me why, but they were all multiple:
BAD_POOL_HEADER
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR-EQUAL
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
PFN_LIST_CORRUPTI received this "ROM" only once to a BSOD: "win32k.sys attempt to write in ROM.
But I got a warning ROME to each logon for the weeks severak. RAID screen said: "WARNING: have the option ROM cannot be invoked"and it "feels" simply as a problem of memory SINGLE stock holding still during the last weeks. " (Click to open an email in Outlook can get me the circle of rotation as long as 30 seconds) This alert has disappeared as I was trying to bugs BSOD.
All my files are in a unique OneDrive zip archive. I've included the STOP codes that I get when reconnected (txt file), the dmp and xml files... two zips and a text file in a single archive. There are fewer than I expected with so many accidents in the txt file.

You probably face some form of a conflict between Norton and the module (Vipre AV gfibto.sys) listed below, and this can lead to problems of corruption... See if you can remove the two and replace Norton with Microsoft Security Essentials.

Bug control description: This indicates that the page frame number (PFN) list is corrupted.
This seems to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. This could be a case of corruption of memory. The corruption of memory more often happens because of software errors in the defective drivers buggy, not because of RAM modules.
The accident took place in the Windows kernel. Maybe this problem is caused by another driver who cannot be identified at this time.I have this problem for a long time. I've updated the drivers, windows updates, no effect. But, for some reason, he did not seem since February. But Monday, I used MiniCygwin_GOptimize_v1.34.02 to compress files apk android. He uses a lot of CPU. And after that the BSOD began to reappear. I downloaded the Minidump file and Information System if someone wants to check.
Let me know the reason for these BSOD and how can I solve this problem.
Hello
We have many bug different controls:
PFN_LIST_CORRUPT (4th)
This indicates that the page frame number (PFN) list is corrupted.
This error is usually caused by a driver passing a list of descriptor of bad memory. For example, the pilot could call MmUnlockPages twice with the same list.
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (1A)
This indicates that an error occurred serious memory management.
Error checking 1A, {5003, fffff780c0000000, 6933, 64ba0002d266}
-1 setting of the bug check is 5003 which lists free work is corrupt. It is probably a hardware error.
We also have another 1st parameter:
Error checking 1 a, {fffff6800005cf40, eab00001beb34867,403, fffff6fc00df59a0}
- Parameter 1 of the bug check is 403 which indicates the page table and NFPs are out of sync. It is also probably a clerical error.
^^ Pointed out that both of the above can still be caused by a driver causing corruption, but it is generally unlikely.
And another...
Error checking 1A, {41284, 159a0e001, 104 d 57, fffff70001080000}
-1 setting of the bug check is 41284 indicating a PTE or the fixed work list is corrupted.

Please run Memtest for NOT LESS than 8 ~ (several hours):
Memtest86 +:
Download Memtest86 + here:
Which should I download?
You can either download the ISO pre-built you want to burn to a CD and then boot from the CD, or you can download the automatic installer of the USB. What this will do is format your USB drive, make a boot device and then install the necessary files. Both do the same job, it's just you that you choose, or you have available (be it CD or USB).
Note that some older generation motherboards do not support USB boot, your only option is CD (or floppy if you really wanted to).
How Memtest works:
Memtest86 writes a series of test patterns for most of the addresses of memory, reads the written data and compares it to find errors.
The default pass is 9 different tests, varying in the modes of access and test data. A tenth test, bland, is selectable in the menu. He wrote all the memory with zeros, then sleeps 90 minutes before checking to see if the bits have changed (perhaps because of refresh problems). This is repeated with all those for a total time of 3 hours by pass.
Many chipsets can report RAM speed and timings by SPD (Serial Presence Detect) or EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles), and some even support changing the expected memory speed. If the expected memory speed is overclockee, Memtest86 can test that memory is free of error with these faster settings.
Some hardware is able to report the status of the "PAT" (PAT: active or PAT: disabled). This is a reference to the Intel performance acceleration technology; There may be the BIOS settings that affect this aspect of memory synchronization.
This information, if it is available for the program, can be displayed via a menu option.
Other questions, they can most likely be answered by reading this excellent guide here:

BSOD help (ntoskrnl.exe)
I recently built a new computer for the first time and I am constantly a BSOD. After consulting the minidump via the blue screen view files, it refers to the ntoskrnl.exe as the cause, but I suspect that maybe it's a corrupt driver (I could be wrong but). Due to my lack of experience on this subject, however, I have no idea on how to identify the guilty and so need help. As a result, I posted a link below containing the minidump files created by my computer and wish for some assistance on the interruption of information (any help would be greatly appreciated).

Thank you
WildThing0079Great, thank you very much.
We have various bug different controls:
PFN_LIST_CORRUPT (4th)
This indicates that the page frame number (PFN) list is corrupted.
This error is usually caused by a driver passing a list of descriptor of bad memory. For example, the pilot could call MmUnlockPages twice with the same list. However, this bug control seems as frequently when there is a defective material, most often RAM or HARD disk.
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (1A)
This indicates that an error occurred serious memory management.
Error checking 1 a, {41287, 0, 0, 0}
-1 setting of the bug check is 41287 indicating an illegal page fault occurred while now fixed synchronization of work.
* Addition 41287, we have also the 1st parameter is 403 which indicates the table of page and NFPs are out of sync. It is probably a hardware error, although the device driver causing corruption is possible as well.
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)
This indicates that invalid system memory was referenced.
Bug control 0 x 50 usually occurs after the installation of a faulty hardware or installation failure of material (usually associated with defective RAM, either main memory, L2 RAM or RAM video cache).
Another common cause is a defective system service installation.
Antivirus software can also cause this error, as a corrupted NTFS volume can do him.
System_service_exception (3B)
This indicates that an exception happened during execution of a routine that passes from non-preferred to the privileged code code.
This error has been linked to the excessive use of expanded memory and resulting from user mode graphics drivers enjambment and passing data incorrect of the kernel code.-----------------------

The last 3 months of several BSOD and much more
OK I know there are hundreds of help with BSOD files I should know I've read most of them.
All started 6 months ago, when I thought I was installing an update of flash player. Almost immediately after the computer system crashed. It turns out that I had installed several small progs trial including, my pc backup I deleted immediately, another 6 months I always get emails from their part not bad because I never opened the program. So my problems began with a couple bsod intermittently until, about 3 months when I swear that the bsod was lined up waiting to strike.
I did a lot of reading upwards, for which I managed to fix many of the bsod of but not all. On the advice of many forums including this one I did a clean install of windows 7. I have 3 partitions, c and d & e and what happened then is beyond me. But I will not go into that now. This facility was doomed from the start as I did another formatting all partitions.
After restart of the installation but I have set the time and date and bsod. Soon managed to untangle. Was a driver for mass storage and a stranger. This brings us today, the unknown device driver Sony firmware extension parser device was. So for 15 minutes, my pc ran without problem then a bsod error page then error 1084 and 1068. Me, windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. It's the Sony firmware extension parser device. Code 52. I can't find any help on this. Then intermittently, I have a problem with my video screen, which I have lost it, depending on how it starts the 1st time happened I did a clean boot and got to the login page and my screen went bright 20% or so Sun have come very close to the screen.
Doing a selective start up with SS & with original boot and hkcu\ "" '\current version\run off solved the problem. 1st time today start screen is gone, that's why we came. Without changing a thing screen goes dim then will get a bsod. .. D1, f4, & earlier, a new total, pfn_list_corrupt. Oh and at every restart in SafeMode the screen returns.
I often get the bsod of failure to page, otherwise I'll get a different one each time.
Everything above was written on my mobile, had more but it seems that when you go to another page and come back all this resets, whats that about?
OK, so the error checking is the cause of all my restarts and bsod since clean install (2 days ago) have had 10, and the BCCodes are... 3 b, d1, 19, 7th, 7f, 1st, 50, d1, f4 & 4th had error 1084 & 1064
What have I done? has ran chkdsk /r scan chkntfs system and a couple more that I found here.
Also Windows Security Center is disabled and can't start...
Help, please
Thank you

To disable the auditor auditor/Reset type.
Two of the three DMP (the third link does not work) are related to the material. I would like to run chkdsk, memtest, prime95 and furmark, to find out what the material is failing
1-Memtest. (You can learn more about running memtest here)
Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Get it here
Boot from the CD and let it run at least 5 or 6 passes.
Remember, anytime Memtest reports errors, it can be bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.
Test the sticks individually and if you find a good, test it in all slots. If a well-known stick fails in a card mother slot but not an another is probably the slot.
CHKDSK /F /R
CHKDSK WARNING: while running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found all the data available in this area could be lost so as always back up your data.
Run CHKDSK /R /F from a high command (run as administrator).
Do this for each hard drive on your system.

For about a year now, I been dealing with errors in the screen and blue on my desktop Alienware X 51 R2. They produce several times when you first start the computer for the day and then work as usual for the rest of it. They tend to happen off and on again, stopping for a month or two and after. I went to many other forums for help with no luck. All of them seem to point to pilot/registry issues, such as PFN_LIST_CORRUPT and KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE. I can never identify the problem, because whenever I think I fixed it they begin again a few weeks later. And this time, he had some freezes that act exactly like a BSoD without displaying the blue screen. Please help, I have no idea what is happening. He will also sometimes starts, beep, cut and repeat up to random point when he decides to work.
My wife and I have two machines R2 Alienware X 51 and both machines have started this behavior about a month or two after the expiration of the warranty.
After several tests it turned out that one of the sticks memory is faulty, although it shows still 8 GB of ram in the system specifications.
I replaced the two ram machines with kits of Kingston hyperX 8 gb dual channel and both machines worked perfectly since then.

Last night, I was just using Facebook as usual and bam, BSOD. When I tried to restart, it would reach a point about halfway through the apple logo, go to a gray screen, then restart again. After several tries to restart, I finally restarted in verbose mode, noticed anything weird and it finally started raising but very slowly. I went to my console to see if I could find anything unusual and I found the repetitive lines of the following:
kernel [0]: sandbox: appleeventsd (47) deny metadata-reading-file/library
In addition, 8 lines of this:
kernel [0]: sandbox: appleeventsd (47) deny com.apple.ocspd mach-search
What does that mean and can I do about it if it does not happen?
Have you tried to restart the console recovery and repair of permissions? I have not found anything specific related to these errors.

After uninstalling and reinstalling 42.0 FF, I get BSOD 0x000000F4 error
FF has been excruciatingly slow and constantly crashed. I tried to reset, but does not solve the problem, so I did a uninstall and reinstall. Now, I get the BSOD every day, stating that "a process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly released or terminated" and noting that the problem is often caused by the problem with newly installed hardware or software. FF is the only new software that I installed it. I have not installed new hardware. The stop error is always the same: 0x000000F4. Thanks for your suggestions you may have.
Thanks for the suggestion, Kyle. I uninstalled and reinstalled FireFox and did not get a BSOD. It only 24 hours since I've done this, but so far, everything is fine. Thanks again!

BSOD 0X000000B8 HAL. DLL Repeadly only occurs when I use Firefox v40.0.3
I get a blue screen of death every time I use Firefox v40.0.3 and it ONLY occurs when I use Firefox.
Code: 0x000000B8
Attempt to pass of the CPD
Flaws Driver == > HAL. DLL
Each BSoD has the same error data.
Windows XP SP3 all the drivers the most recent and running stable 3ra for this problem.
Intel Core 2 Duo 3.33GH
4 GB memory
WD 320 GB SATA drive
latest drivers nVidia Quadro FX580
HP xw4600 workstation
I have tried everything I can think of, like turning Hardware Acceleration power
What other programs I makes no difference running at the same time or what I'm doing. It happens that while I use Firefox. If Firefox is loaded in the background, but I do not actively use it, the BSoD doesn't happen.Resolved.
The BSoD was caused by the WiseTdiFw.sys file that is installed in the C:\Windows directory by the system monitor sage v1.3.5.31. When this file was not able to load the BSoD stopped. -
The update of Windows 10 1511 reboot loop Bootcamp BSOD ACPI. SYS
It is a copy of my thread to http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance/windows-10-update-1511-reboot-loop-bootcamp/8653... as I was asked to post here by the Microsoft Support Engineer.
Hello
Friday night, I went to bed with a working machine. I had a late 2013 Mac Pro BootCamp running with a Windows 10 Pro installed, the Build version before 1511.
On Saturday morning, I woke up to my PC restart itself over and over again. It seems that Windows Update has decided to put a new version of Windows 10 on my machine without my knowledge. I discovered this after restoring an acronis backup (which took a few hours because of the number of incremental backups)
Occasionally (about 1 in 20 restarts) it would blue screen with an error:
SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (ACPI.sys)
But the rest of the time he would just start, flash a window for a millisecond that says (I think) winlaunch.exe, then restart.
I tried a lot of things to sort it, including:
(1) restore from a backup, acronis to Friday morning, running sfc/scannow, and then runs the update
(2) the creation of a recovery USB, enter the console, change the boot to legacy method, so I can F8, then goes into all security modes and mode of illegal product, but I can find where windows 10 now puts the boot log
(3) restored from acronis, switched to mac, created a new bootcamp drivers usb, switched to windows and run the option 'fix drivers' before performing the update.
Ntbtlog.txt is not anywhere on the partition. I ran a dir /s > a.txt then open this a.txt in Notepad and searched him.
I don't know where to go from here. I can acronis restore of a windows 10 work machine the morning before installing mandatory 1511. I don't know how to delay the update no more, I noted during a restore I had delay on updates that are why it has arisen just now.
I do not know how to find where this BSOD ACPI.sys will come (even if it happens so rarely) or this that its trying to load just before it crashes (so I can try to delete the driver etc. by the front restored windows to upgrade)
I guess the widowed causes 10 to do a restore, then the restore fails.
Overall, I get at the end of my wits with this, to go a completely Windows 10 installation work Friday to more than two wasted days, restore backups, try again, rinse and repeat. It's now Monday morning and I am posting this as a ditch last attempt to solve the problem, your help would be appreciated.
If you need more information please let me know the location of the files, etc, or their names and I will do my best to have copies available for you.
I will now restore the backup again, uninstall loading of drivers, and then try the update of windows for the 4th or 5th time.
Thanks in advance,
Julian
Woo Hoo, I've solved the problem!
I uninstalled the drivers of graphics from AMD (with AMD Driver Cleaner) and Arcronis True Image Home 2013 at the same time, then let Windows Update run its course. Now I have a machine with Windows Version 1511 10!
It took me 4 days of downtime...
I hope this helps someone else.
