  I suspect that it is a scam any. Banks have fraud departments they ask recipients to send this type of e-mail to. You have the same type of policy?

  Please report misuse of the Firefox brand Web sites using the site report page violating Mozilla and in emails to their transmission to the abuse of Mozilla email.

  I was causing my m/c to go slowly. It's for real.  He then wanted to load a file on my m/c to help her access to improve things. I stopped him right there, he gave me his mobile number to remind him of the! He took me however the system log and showed all the errors I had accumulated on my PC seemed ok until he took me to www,windowsupport.us, and click on "Show my PC", which translates as a request to load a file 'ShowMyPC3105.exe' which I refused.  How is this true or scam?

  It is a scam. In no case download do something of this Web site and do not allow them to remotely install anything. They are only after your details (Bank, etc.) you did just denying them entry to your PC.

  It sounds like you were forced to install TeamViewer or some similar remote desktop software. These are legitimate programs that will not be picked up by the antivirus or anti-malware analysis. The problem is that scammers use versions of free-to-use home to accomplish their nefarious means.

  Uninstall and never leave anonymous 'expert' have access to your computer from the Internet.

  Calls unrequested telephone of this nature are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.

  These types of callers can use completely fictitious names or bogusly claim to be of real companies other than Microsoft as well.

  I live in PA and received a phone call from someone who do not speak English as a first language by telling me I had malware and viruses on my computer and it was a Microsoft tech.  He asked if my computer was on... I said no... He told me to turn it on and he'll fix it.  sounded funny to me, so I asked what computer... He said mine... I said... it was still said to mine... I still once you said... which made me very suspicious.  I have 6 computers in my house... If he was from Microsoft and in fact is a problem, he could have told me that they... I hung up.  Fortunately for me, I worked on computers since 1982 and I have no banking services online for this reason and because he could not tell me that we (an error code would have given him my exact computer) and what operating system it used.

  When I started my computer this morning (I'm in the United Kingdom), I was greeted by an alert, would have been to support Dell saying that my laptop needed a critical BIOS update. When I went by the initial movements of download 1525_A16.exe, I found that it came from an unknown Publisher, so I do not run. Has anyone else had this disturbing alert?

  Thank you for taking the time to respond and to locate the update that appears to be true after all. Seeing that it was an update of the critical BIOS from an unknown Publisher, I was extremely suspicious to say the least. and in fact, I thought that it must contain a virus.

  If it wasn't such a business, put in touch with Dell, now that my warranty has expired, I would give them a piece of my mind.

  The backup to iCloud for an iPad does not include items that are already in iCloud, your iCloud stream library and my photos are not included in the backup to iCloud.
