  Hello.

  I wanted to run the HP Battery Check to know how was my battery. But it does not recognize my battery.

  My battery seems to be getting worse lately, and it does it not take a charge as long as it used to do.

  I downloaded the latest HP Support Assistant (5.1.10.7), and like I said. It does not recognize my battery.

  Bright ideas?

  First, stop the laptop, unplug the AC adapter unplugged, remove the battery and then press and hold the power button for a minute.

  Now, plug in the AC adapter without the battery inserted, start Notepad, open windows control panel, open Device Manager, expand the entry for the battery, on the right, click on and compatible Microsoft ACPI control method battery and select Uninstall - do uninstall not something else here.  When the uninstall is complete, shut down the PC, unplug the AC adapter, reinsert the battery and then start the PC on just the battery.  Windows will automatically reinstall the driver - leave Windows running for a few minutes. Shut down the PC again.  Now plug the power adapter (with the inserted battery always) and start Notepad.

  Then download, install and run the latest version of the HP utility battery Check, on the link below.

  Does this work properly and if it indicates no fault with the battery?

  I have three serial ports on our lab computers, one is the default on the motherboard port, and two others are usb connectors of the series. The problem is the default com1 serial port has a cross write in MAX and two other serial ports are missing. All serial ports displayed correctly in windows XP Device Manager and in the register too. The version of labview is 8.5.1 with NI-visa 4.4. See attached photos.

  I have many hours of research and have not found a clue. Please help me.

  I can't find documentation to prove this, but I believe that it will not work as you wish. The mechanism that the use of phones IP Cisco to communicate information to the CFA is an owner for the SIP extension, which is blocked on the third-party SIP devices. In other words, RFC3261 does not provide a mechanism to do this. Most likely, the way in which the phone deals with CFA is issuing a REFER message when it receives the INVITATION of CUCM.   I use OPA version 10.4. I'm writing a rule by using a table of rules. Requirement is such that when the State is unknown then conclusion should evaluate to 'Others' (for example). Now, I have a condition (text) attribute and attribute of conclusion (text). Now when the condition attribute value is "abc" then attribute of the conclusion must be "xyz" but when the condition attribute is 'unknown' or anything else then attribute conclusion must be 'other '. I tried to implement this in the two table rules in word doc and also in excel table of rule but failed to get the desired result. It assesses the 'unknown' conclusion when the condition attribute is 'unknown '. Please suggest.

  After a power failure sudden, we could recover our vcloud Director cell, but all the virtual machines indicate 'unknown' State and all operations are disabled from the GUI. I am able to poweron vms with PowerCLI Start-CIVapp without problem.

  the vm_inv table can essentially be emptied... all the * _INV tables are basically just a get vCenter status... If you retrieved the table, the State may be absent for items in question.

  I think that you basically have to truncate all the * tables of _inv, followed by property_map... then reboot vCloud Director services.  This will force a full sweep of the inventory and get the correct/current.

  If you want to help by doing this, you can create a support request and the technical team can help.

• Virtualization host specific counters show unknown

  Looking at some Hyper-V hosts in a VWorkspace 7.5 site which shows the counters for all the elements in each of the Hyper-V hosts and for all hosts in the conters for provisioning and the total as being unknown.  I thought that I came across a VWorkspace document that said a fix, but I can't seem to find him.  It would be great to be able to see a graphic display of questions rather than the unknown state.  I've seen describes the fix as install a .net 4.0 but .net is installed by default to the installation of the role or he had to run Winrm quickconfig.  Would one of these whether this is, or is there something else that someone out there may have already solved.

  I have a question that is hard for me to understand and even more difficult to explain so please bear with me!

  I am hoping to make an app callblocker for my mobile and I connect to the signal callUpdated phones and successfully receive updates in my onCallUpdate slot when a call comes in.

  My problem is that my onCallUpdate slot is triggered several times for an incoming call, the first couple of times call.phonenumber () is empty, I thought it was good that I could wait just to phonenumber () .length () is greater than 0 before doing something like endcall().

  The problem with waiting for the length of the phonenumber to > 0 and only do something when the phone number is > 0 is that I also want to detect private numbers but phoneNumber () .length () is 0 for private always numbers.

  Is there another way for me to do something in my onCallUpdated slot when the phonenumber() is available other than check the length of phonenumber() so then I can say if it is a private number?

  Hope someone can point me in the right direction with this.

  This is a known bug that is fixed on the operating system, u01, there is a file defaults.xml. The SID of the DB got hardcoded for ORCL... so just change the SID to your DBs SID.

• Unknown status under ITA

  ITA recently reported 10 servers PE2950 in the unknown state under the Group of servers.  I tried to solve the problem by performing a discovery/inventory of the affected server, unfortunately, the problem persists.

  To resolve this problem, I run the troubleshooting tool and determined that ITA was unable to talk to my server via SNMP.  I restarted the SNMP service on one of the affected servers and then made a discovery/inventory to solve the problem (status is returned to the green).

  Around the same time, I met this "unknown status" issues I have restart my DNS server.  I'm not sure if it was the root cause of the problem, however, I can solve all hostnames after the DNS server has restarted including the 10 affected servers.

  Could you please help me with the following questions?

  -What is the cause of this problem?

  -Do you recommend an easier way to restore the functionality on the remaining servers of unknown status?

  I have one from my webcam on my envy 15-1030ef.

  It seems to be unknown in the Device Manager - I guess that's the webcam.

  I tried:

  Re-install HP MediaSmart Webcam, restart

  Re-install the Firmware of HP Webcam, restart

  Still havving the same question, the stay of device in the 'unknown' State in the Device Manager and the Firmware still refuses to install - I still have the same error.

  I've seen a few post here referring to questions similar to mine, but whenever they were closed and redirected to the post on «purple webcam pictures» I saw no solution to the problem.

  OK, right click on the unknown device, click software update of the driver and that it points to C:\Windows\system 32\drivers\usbvideo. sys and see if it takes place... If this does not work. Go to BIOS and set the to the default values by pressing F9 and check... If it does not work... we don't have webcam on-site... While that bit of luck, the recovery may solve the problem...
