  Turn on the device? You don't see anything on the screen? In this case, a USB OTG cable is your answer. You can connect a mouse or a keyboard if necessary.

  I'm a student in computer engineering at the University of Waterloo 1A, and I run a very serious problem with my HP Envy 15 "TouchSmart laptop computer running Windows 8.1. It is a problem that just started today, and I'd rather have a first support here before going to see the technical support Office sometimes tomorrow. It has to do with the screen and the fans where the Power LED lights in white, just as when the laptop works properly.

  (I have warranty on the laptop when it was purchased last June, except that if I find that I need to get a replacement, I'll lose all my work, I did on that since I started my semester.) It's so silly of me not to have all my work saved on a backup, because I have an external hard drive. Problem is, I've had too many problems in getting myself organized, I'm not being open-minded as I should, and worse, I'm not a balance between life and work at home.)

  Before I had my MATH 117 conference (Calculus 1 Engineering), I was in a nearby lab where my laptop was open and turned, works correctly. I've had NetBeans IDE running since I wanted to work on the second part of my current assignment of CS 137 (principles of programming). Because it was almost time for my presentation, I closed the laptop by simply moving the screen down on the keyboard, where it goes into mode 'sleep'. (Whenever I flip to the top of the screen, the laptop is supposed to return, and the sliding screen of Windows 8.1 connection will appear.)

  When I took my seat for reading, I wanted to spend a little time to work on my programming assignment.   The following information is taken from the HT201406 of the Apple KB article:

  Check your touch screen

  Make sure your hands are clean and dry, then try the following steps:

  1. If you have a case or a protective screen on your device, try removing it.
  2. Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint cloth.
  3. Unplug your unit.
  4. Restart your device. If you are unable to restart it, you can force restart your device.

  If your touch screen is still unresponsive as it should, contact the Support technique Apple or make your tablet in an Apple Store or Apple authorized service provider.

  Adjust your settings for tactile 3D

  If you have an iPhone 6s or later that does not properly respond to tactile 3D press, you can adjust the settings:

  OK, if the phone has been implemented using the o2 network and you want to use it with another carrier, you need to get o2 to unlock your phone.

• Satellite L300 - 1-5 - the screen does not work

  I tested my inverter of the screen and my backlight lamp to see that if that was the problem, but they both worked perfectly, I then tried the entire screen with the parts and that worked too. (I tried in my friends Toshiba Satellite L300 - 217)

  Then I looked around online and got told to try to connect my laptop to an external monitor, so I did and the screen didn't work there either. So now I'm stuck, I have tried everything even made sure all connections aren't loose etc but it still does not.

  This means that the internal monitor is ok and the reason must be the graphics card or card mother herself.

  I guess for now, you get only a screen empty and nothing happens on your laptop?

  In this case, you should contact the closest service provider authorized in your country. Just get in touch with the guys and ask for help. They can check the cell phone and fix it! ;)

  Hi apple, I dropped my iPhone 5 c not so long ago, and when I went to answer a text (my phone is locked with a password), I went to type my password in and the right side of my screen does not work, I tried to plug my phone into my computer , but it does not leave my access it from there because its locked and I cannot get in, is there a way to fix this?   It is most likely just be a screen issue that will be fixed with replacing the screen.  Assuming that you are out of warranty and do not have Applecare... Your option at Apple is a permutation of the screen for $129 - make sure you call ahead and confirm that your Apple Store makes replacements of the screen in the House, many do not.  Apple offers a replacement by mail from the screen.

  Your independent repair option would be similar - find a local store reviewed well, providing a guarantee of at least 3 months on the repair, ideally 6 months or life.   Now would cost about $75 - $110 for a 5 series phone.   Do not take a shop based on price because of alternative screens vary in quality a little.   Find a store that uses parts of original quality and is backed by the best guarantee.

  I have the already known problem that my touch screen is not responding. I already rebooted my phone but I can not enter my PIN. Because I'm on vacation I habe no possibility to connect my neigter z3C with mouse or PC.

• BlackBerry Q10 connection screen does not appear

  I have a Q10 and I can not log on screen to display.  When I click on the high background to unlock the screen, the screen came as usual, but in the upper part, the media volume is displayed. When I go to swipe to get the log to the screen the screen cleared all my alerts, but the login screen does not appear (although the display of the media volume is still there).  I plugged it in to see if that would do anything and now see a message that says "charging your battery more quickly, use the charger supplied with this device" but I was.  Any ideas?
