The phone said I should update the software of OS of 10.2.0.429 despite the fact that it was already installed.  Every time I tried to follow the guest by phone, it seems while I got the last installed.  Two days later, I'd get another notification that an update was necessary and went through the process again.

  • Why the photo app will not be stopped?

My photo app acted strange for weeks. A few weeks ago I tried to copy the photos on my phone to my computer, a Macbook Air, the apple photo app. No photos have been copied and when I tried to close the application, it did not work. I can still see the icon in the desktop menu and when I click on the application it says «Closing Photos» It never end well.

I tried to turn off the computer, but it says I need to disable the first photo application. What can I do? Is this a common problem? Appreciate all the help I can get.

  • What just happened to my Photos app? I need help please. :(

A bit complicated, but totally mind boggling, and I need your help. This all started when I'm about to see my photos. I clicked on the Start menu, and then clicked on the Photos app. He just opened indeed, but all of a sudden it's just freezes and I can't seem to click pictures, and then it closes the force and brings back me to the start screen. Because I felt so mad and frustrated, I just came with the idea to uninstall this application and install it again from the store, and so I did. But when I was about to install the application again in the store, when I get the Photos app in the charm of the research, and I click the Photos app, I thought I'd install it with ease, unfortunately he only said 'you have this app' and we can't find the button "install". Just 2 questions: 1) I really own this app, but why the pictures tile app does not appear in the menu Start ; and 2) there are solutions to this problem of recover my Photos app/app tile and get back to work just the way that it used to be?

For a better understanding on this issue, here is 2 pictures (or titles):
This is the screenshot of store, in which is the time I try to re - install Photos app, but I can't because he said 'you have this app.
And this is the screenshot of menu start without Photos app. He said that I have this app, but I can't find the Photosapp tile. Even if I search in all applications, I can't always find.
If you answered, thank you very much, because I need this app.

    Hi BhoyKim

You do not have the application, simply to reinstall this App do the following.

    1. open the store, right-click the main screen and select your applications on the top toolbar.

    2. you will see 2 drop-down menus in the top/left. Select applications from the first menu and sort by name from the second menu.

    3. Locate the Photos App and click on the application.

    4. on the bottom of the toolbar, click the install icon.

It will be re - install this application.

Let us know if it works for you.

  • Move "referenced" in photos.app photos

I work with pictures (photos.app) in El Capitan.

I have a library of "referenced files" - files that are visible in the Photos, but still living in regular folders on my drive (they are not moved to the photo library).

I want to some of them move to another folder, but if I do, I fear that photos.app will lose track of them. I can re - import, but it looks like I'm losing a lot - for example, some are in albums, some have unsaved edits, etc.

Is there a way to move files without breaking the photos?

Nope - Here on several reasons that referenced libraries are strongly discouraged in Photo (or iPhoto) - Photos doesn't have the right tools to manage referenced libraries

  • transition from iPhoto to Photos app on iMac

My application on the iMac iPhoto became atomically Photos. How can I get Photos app on my iMac?

The Photos.app will be automatically installed if you upgrade your Mac to Mac OS X 10.10.3 or a newer system.

The system listed in your signature profile Mac OS X (10.5.2), does not support the new Photos.app.  What system currently installed?

Maybe it's because I switched to a MacBook Pro of the older, slower, but I cleaned the system and got rid of all the errors, as well as the material itself should not be a problem.

None of my adobe apps will load or open. The icon will bounce and then stop responding, and then I have to force quit.

    Why is this happening?

    Hello

    Please, try the following steps:

    • Set the "Read and write" permissions on the files of Adobe for all users in the following locations:

      • / Library/Application Support /.
      • /Users/ [user name] / Library/Application Support /.
    • Restart the computer.

A message appears on the iphone asks you to trust the computer it is attached (mac pro 10.10.5)

You type 'Confidence' and nothing happens. the photos on mac app publishes this message.

This Mac not yet have been granted access to the media on 'my iPhone '. To import media to this Mac, press 'Trust' on 'my iPhone '. You must first unlock the device.

This actually solved for me after going to settings, General, reset, reset the location and privacy... and then plug in the unit and pressing the trust... hope that works for others.

This behavior has emerged in the last days and the problem is that Kaspersky has marked these apps as "not reliable."

    Solution:

    (1) open the 'Applications updates' section of Kaspersky Security Intrernet. A new window will open.

    (2) in the dropdown in the top left corner, select 'all '.

    (3) in the search box of the appearance of the upper right corner (the one with the magnifying glass) to Skydrive, calendar, Chat, or any other application does not.

    (4) 'files' (with extension *.html and a few others) will appear. These files will be marked with a red circle and the text 'Not reliable' (or something similar) or with a yellow circle and the text 'Minimum restricted' (or something similar)

    (5) select with the mouse each of these files (one by one) that appeared in your search and press the secondary button. A new menu will appear with the option "move group". Inside this option, you need to tell the program that you want to move each of these files to the Group of "reliable." A few seconds later, you will see how the red circle turns green.

    (6) run your mosaic application. It should work perfectly.

    Kind regards.

With the help of Yosemite, I like Photos app in general; have big Aperture library, although I use rarely opening Tools. Advantages, disadvantages and pitfalls related to the migration of Photos?

Opening was a pro the Pro amateur-oriented or serious app, usually shooting Raw, probably on a digital SLR.

If that's you then pictures will miss a lot for you.

If this isn't the case, then opening was probably overkill for your needs.

If you like the pictures then this is the way to go.

  • Plug my 6s continues to open the Photos app even after controlling for him?

With the help of an iPhone 6 9.2 running. As a Mac Pro (mid-2012) running 10.11.2. When I plug my phone in, the Photos app opens wanting import me all my photos. I'm not interested by this on this machine, since it is a work computer, so I'm going to Capture Image and tell the computer not to open any application, when I plug in my phone. However, it seems that if I go a day or two without connecting to the work, it immediately at the opening of the Photos app is once again going even if I put it above to not open any application when it is plugged.

Any thoughts on why this keeps happening? Does not seem serious whether or not I restarted my computer, it will do the same thing anyway.

    Hello bdouglas,.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand that you don't want pictures to launch whenever you have your iPhone connected to your work computer.  It's quite understandable, so to get this option changed, please follow the steps below.

    1. Plug in your iPhone
    2. Select your iPhone from the column on the left in Photos
    3. Deselect the checkbox next to 'Open pictures for this device'
    4. Photos of quit smoking

After you follow these steps, Photos should more be opened whenever you connect the iPhone to your work computer.

    Take care.

I'm on OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 and I keep the nearly 200 gigabytes of photos on a separate hard drive so I can get more old photos looking at the content of the package and by copying and pasting in a recovery file, but it will be painful and very long. What do you suggest me? I thought that Aperture 3.6 was supposed to open at Yosemite or El Capitan? Thank you bripoppamac44

What happens, when you try that? You get an error message? If so, what error?
