Photo editing for 23.0.1.A.5.77

Is it possible to return to the former editor integrated in photo?  The new version is very dumbed down.  I miss the option of curves in particular.  Really regret "redevelopment".

  • Photo editing software

I have a new Nikon DSLR camera and you are looking for a decent photo editing for my Mac software program. I don't want anything real extreme that I am a beginner. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you want only an editor or a digital asset management system to store photos?

A great new Photo editor is affinity Photos.

You can also use Photos for Mac to organize your photos in a photo database.  Photos for Mac offers of many basic setting, and you can use the affinity or other editors as extensions of photo editing.

  • What would be the best video editing and photo editing software to use for an iMac for advanced users?

My first exposure to video and photo editing is on a PC with Adobe Premier and Adobe Photoshop.  I own a Macbook Air and have used iMovie and iPhoto.  It took me a few years to sort and organize thousands of photos archived and videos.  Now, with the changes in Final Cut Pro and the loss of the opening, I am, even once, sitting on the fence.  Compatibility between the software has always been a controversial issue and that you accumulate more and more files, it would be nice if Apple should keep in mind to develop software that can be upgraded seamlessly without losing or change any data.  For example, the photo is correct, once you become familiar with it. However, personally, I like the way events were created in iPhoto, but also how you can scrub through each event, just sweep a finger of each event.  Now in the Photos, you need to scroll right rows and rows of pictures, which seems to be a step backward when it comes down to the speed and convenience. I finally have the time to go back to my hobby of video editing and I was about to buy an iMac or a Macbook Pro.  What is the best choice for video and photo editing, or should I be looking back to Adobe?

You can go to Phase One's Capture One.

  • The upgrade of my desktop pc from HP a1540n for photo editing

    Hi all

I am currently running Win XP SP2 on desktop HP a1540n; System specs are here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00679533

After you have maxed out my RAM (4x1Go), the system has worked well for me for about 4 years.  However, I'll buy a new 36 MP digital camera and need to upgrade the operating system to a minimum (for Vista or Windows 7) to take over some of s/w that I use for photo editing. At the same time, I am considering a few hardware upgrades as well to improve the speed of the system (I work with large files).

I'm looking for options in order to make the system work and, if $ allow to improve performance.  I would like some advice on whether if it is worth upgrading the hardware or just bite the bullet and withdraw from the newer system for somethng.

Option 1: OS upgrade only, pref for Win 7; cost: ~ $140

Option 2: upgrade MB (with processor), optionally add a video card. upgrade cost:?

    Option 3: new system; cost: ~ $1000.

Option 2 makes any sense?  So I hate to waste the old h/w, I'm not sure whether this option is profitable.  Can the remaining material (power supply, etc.) support and are working properly with the motherboard more recent or other improvements will be necessary as well (in addition to the OS)?  I will be attaching multiple drives (some new, some existing); a new MB give me USB3 ability, or is it a separate addon?

    All advice/recommendations would be appreciated...

    -Rob

    Rob, welcome to the forum.

This is one of the most difficult situations to address.  The upgrade can be a good option if the original components are even more recent.  However, a computer that is 6 years old becomes a dinosaur.  As a result, purchase new may be a much better option.  If you can afford the $1,000, I think you would advance money.

  • Oh or Wacom for photo editing

I just bought a Wacom Intuos pro small... for 250 at BestBuy after that I see on the site of Wacom for 199.99 or even Amazon renovated for even less... but anyway... The point is while watching I see the Tablet Hurion... Good comments seem... for only $80!  It will endeavour to make cc a windows pc editing Photoshop 7? I'm trying to save money and I'm new to Photoshop, but learn fast!

    Hello

I have an Oh 610 Pro on Windows 7 and it works fine. I have a Wacom on another computer and that is good too, but was 4 times more expensive. Remember the main drawbacks are the lack of support for the tilt of the pen, which can be a problem for professional artists and calligraphy. For photo editing that is not a feature you will use a lot. The Huion has a rechargeable battery inside the pen which should be charged via a USB port from time to time, and you do not have an eraser on the back end of the pen. For me, none of them is a big obstacle. Its a very well done Wacom tablet equal in this regard. Where begins the critique, it's with drivers and the pressure sensitivity. For me on Windows 7, I have never had a problem, even with complex custom brushes, but there have been posts here where people have had problems with Windows 10. I would also add that there are a lot of messages on the Wacom pressure thus sensitivity. He gave a bit of bias to remember because as with IBM at a time, no one is ever fired for buy a Wacom tablet, because they are a de facto standard. The truth is like IBM, they exploit their market leader status and massive overload. That being said than tablets last forever and so any difference in price on average more than ten years is quite insignificant. I would recommend to anyone to try an remember before you buy a Wacom. You can buy on Amazon, test, see if the drivers are working for you and if you don't like the Tablet just return to Amazon for refund. If this I recommend to download the latest drivers on the Huion site as its often the case that the box is out of date.

Hope that gives you to think

    Terri

PS there are many reviews of the 610 Oh pro on YouTube that give a much better idea what a written exam. I would say that there is a 610 Oh which is slightly cheaper, but its worth the extra $ 20 for the Pro cheapest one takes a regular battery in the pen.
