  I'm trying to photomerge a panorama landscape of portrait shots. CS6 aligns them vertically! I have merged these same photos successfully in CS5, so I know that the overlap is adequate. What Miss me?

  You can ignore the Photomerge script by

  Photoshop layers loading bridge

  Select all layers and go Edit > Auto align layers (automatic selection)

  Select all layers and go Edit > mix textures Auto (with transparent tones and colors checked)

  I remember having problems with the script with CS5's Photomerge after that something has been corrupted, but never with the CS6.

  I need to import a mov. file in Premiere Pro CS6, but it gives the following error 'Preview in the source monitor failure' - error message: "Codec missing or unavailable.

  I looked up the prefrences codec of video via VLC. Here are the codecs:

  You can download it from the Web Avid site.

  NB: If PrPro will not see the Avid codecs after successful installation, the Avid QuirkTime codec package, go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \QuickTime\QTComponents folder, copy all the *.qtx files and paste it in C:\Program Files (x 86) \QuickTime\QTSystem folder.

• Photomerge in Phtoshop CS6: where is manual setting?

  I used to use Photoshop CS on a PPC Mac with OS 10.4.11. If Photomerge was told that it could not automatically arrange two or several images into a coherent whole, thumbnails of the files appeared, I can move the files in the pane of exploitation and could align manually - or even, if I wished, not align them - and nevertheless make a composite image.

  I now have CS6 on an Intel Mac with OS 10.8.4. If automatic alignment fails, I see only one image at a time on the screen and it seems there is no way to manually move the images of two or more. I would be very grateful for the clarification and instructions.

• Still missing library CS6 files

  Hello to all the freaks.

  In recent years, I have been CS5 Production Premium installed and then decided yesterday to CS6. I purchased, downloaded and installed the Production Premium. I also installed the package additional ReadMe files from Adobe first Pro CS6 more content (menus, buttons, and backgrounds) for Adobe Encore CS6.

  With Encore CS6, it created the Corporate, entertainment, general, technology, travel and weddinggroups, but apparently not menus, buttons or backgrounds when you click it.

  I looked into the respective folders under Adobe Encore CS6/Library /, but they contain no psd file, only two files m2vloc about 10 to 20 KB.

  When I browse the files in my old CS5, there is a large amount of psd files with menus, buttons and backgrounds in these folders, but not in my installation CS6.

  I hope someone can help me with a solution, so I can pass.

On the other hand, Adobe staff has (at my request) deleted my original profile, as she constantly showed my e-mail address instead of my user/Pseudo name.   I have cs5 and don't know if I am entitled to cs6 as mine is 1 year old. I reinstalled photoshop because I hoped she would fix some missing files formats and live live CS '...   I use the trial version of Adobe Premiere CS6 and trying to export a movie in quicktime (.mov) format and with the video codec sorenson, both do not appear in the lists of options. According to the site assessment CS5.5 and later Web is all supposed to have the same options for export than the full versions. Any ideas what could be wrong, or have just removed Adobe a lot of options between CS5 and CS6?

• Video effects missing in CS6 Mac

  I am a member of the creative cloud subscription and I install a Windows and Mac of CS6.

  The other day I went looking for a Zoom effect in the body that I was previously using Windows in my Mac installation and could not find it.

  Today I have bothered to check how it has been used, "Camera view", but it is not present on the Mac.

  Installing Windows also had more overall effects, i.e. feathers of edge.

  Under Windows I have all applications of CS6, on the Mac, I have installed only what I intend to use the body, AF, hearing and PS, could have a little more but not the dev web ones.

  What are the differences between CS6 Win & Mac or have I forgotten to install something.

  If you search for the string "Windows only" in the community help search, you will find all the features that a Windows of Premiere Pro version. There are a number of things not on Mac.

• Photomerge (missing manual)

  We are using photomerge to assemble huge panoramic overflights of the retina. We cannot guarantee a 30 to 40% by photo overlap, we must keep to the exposure of the sample as the lowest possible level, but it is "easy to assemble" photos, completely fixed, only a change in X / axis must be performed and images must be perfectly stitched.

  So far, we use Photoshop CS2, because this is the last version that we know to have a sewing manual mode (automated sewing epic fails with our photos). Since the photos are very large (easilie 12 x 12 photos of 3 k x 3 k Pixels) the limit of memory on 32-bit has forced us to put together them in patches.

  We got a new Core i7 / 8 GB of Ram now, workstation running Win7 64 bit and installed the trial version of Photoshop CS5 extended to get the best out of 64 - bit... only to come to know that the build in photomerge functions perform worse in the seams of our images and manual mode is "gone".

  I discovered that I could install the old Photomerge ( http://forums.adobe.com/message/2242257#2242257 ), but I guess it will be 32-bit and also limited than we already use?

  Is there another solution to this? We would like to upgrade to CS5 (for all other nice functions and filters of 64-bit, no limitation of memory plus, GPU support, etc.), but if it cannot improve the main function we use...

• Photoshop CS6, Photomerge

  I had problems using the Photomerge tool in CS6 (iMac running Mavericks).  When you try to merge three 60 MB tif files the application takes forever to process the image. If I run the utility with the same images through CS3, it works very well.  Anyone else having a similar problem?

  One thing that improves the performance of Photomerge, which I've seen mentioned above:

  In Performance preferences, try to increase the Level of Cache setting to 6 or more.

  These are the instructions, and I think that they do not work, there are a number of problems that may arise. What problem are you having? If you do not see 'previous versions' etc., please post a screenshot.

  This feature is available in the program monitor in CS5 and CS6.

  Try by double-clicking on image in the program monitor.
