  Hat is not a feature of Photos.

  If you want to make sure your new export is sorted after previous export, change the field "sequential prefix" in the Panel of the export to a string, which will be sorted after the original prefix you have chosen.

  

• How to get the right folder name/location during import?

  I can't get LR 3.x to import into the desired folder structure, as I used to do with

  LR 1.x and 2.x.  I am trying a structure that looks like this:

  

  I want LR to automatically create a folder with the timestamp in it and find the right year and then let me in the last part of the name of the folder that identifies the object, prior to importation.  So far, all I can get is the name of the file generated automatically by date with no ability to edit or a folder name completely custom where I locate correctly and typing the entire name, including the date.  In LR 1.x and 2.x, it was really easy.  LR suggest the name of the folder (or multiple folder names if the images extend over several dates) with the date in it, and I could double-click it to add the additional designation prior to importation.  Could not find any way to do in LR 3.x.  Does that mean, that I have to do the import, wait it ends and then go back and manually rename each file that it created.  It's especially a pain when there are several folders (through multiple dates) or when my backup program has already hit and made a backup of the date generated automatically until I come and rename it manually.

  So my question is, how do I get LR for the right folder name based on the date in the folder location good auto suggestion and I would like to add something on the end of it before importing?  It was very easy in the import of LR1.x and 2.x.

  He slipped under the radar when again the new window import. If all goes well, we will get it back in the next major update. In the meantime. You can add the importation of additional text in right click on the folder name and then selecting rename in the context menu.

• Rundll32 is not found, but it is in the right folder

  I can't access most of the files/programs in my control panel.  the error message says "application not found c;\windows\system32\rundll32.exe.  A search on drive C indicates that the program exists in the right folder.

  How can I solve this problem?

  Note: I am running windows XP sp3 and I just solved a problem of virus (FakeRean and Alureon.G) using a MS security essentials scan and clean.  the problem with the missing program of rundll32.exe appeared immediately after the scan and clean process.

  I tried both of your methods and they both took me to "choose the program to execute cmd.exe." but, because of your recommendation, I could navigate to cmd.exe and right click and click on "Run" and it opened.  the command you have worked me and I didn't need to do a reboot (but I will).  in any case, a preliminary test indicates the control panel and the desktop icons are now working as it should with one or two - minor (?) different questions.

  I followed the instructions in the link you provided. Double checked them and they will be all renamed starting with the first image file Name.jpg according to numerical order, the 2nd picture of the group is the name of (1) .jpg file, 3rd picture is the name of the file (2) .jpg and so on. These were numbered automatically, but first of all, I made sure that they were displayed in the order that I wanted them. I have clicked on and highlight the first photo, press and hold the SHIFT key pressed, clicked on the last image in the file, once all selected / highlighted, right click on an image, choose 'RENAME', typed in the name of the file, press ENTER. The first image of thought would be (1), but was just .jpg and then all the other images were numbered. Have not had time to read everything in the directions of operation Panasonic Blu - ray, but see nothing on playback in random order for still images.

• How to restore my photos to the private folder

  While in Windows Media Player, I'm wrong I could keep my images of projection in the drive without the library being touched. However, the practice has removed the library. The files are still in my office > Ariel > my images, so I don't need to restore those.

• How to combine 2 catalogs LR cc separate, referencing files from different photos in the same folder of file?

  Here's my problem: I messed up a complicated backup regime for LR5 involving several different external drives and catalogues. Now, I have valuable pictures on site .dng a drive with some exquisite development referenced in the catalog. I want to combine the images of .dng on A drive with .dng image on Drive B referenced in the catalogue B, so I can simplify things.

  
  

  It would be simple to simply enter the catalog B and CC LR move the images on the disk has to drive B, increase this drive; but then I'd lose all of this exquisite development referenced in the catalog.

  
  

  The only solution I can find to combine 2 catalogs referencing a augmented Drive B, is to export one of the catalog images A to B drive making jpegs. Then import one of the exported in the catalog B .jpeg images. But this requires a .dng .jpeg transformation I want to avoid.
