Reflections on non - Apple USB Lightning/cable

I am thrifty. Nineteen dollars for a lightning/USB cable is a lot of flat on money. But I read that the non-Apple cables can damage my device. Your thoughts? If you are using a non-Apple cable, can you recommend the most reputable? Thank you very much.

Do not use a non Apple cable or a cable that is not certified by Apple. It will not work, or if it works initially, it will ultimately be not. It is logical integrated in the firmware that will detect a non Apple cable and prevents it from working. The reason for this is that the market good cables peut causes problems with your device, in addition to being a potential fire risk, a risk of shock, etc..

Frugality will pay not here.

Good luck

  • How do I restore my Apple TV without cable USB - C?

When I start my Apple TV, it shows only one link on my TV screen: support.apple.com/appletv/restore. I went on this website and it explains how to restore an Apple TV using a USB - C cable connected to a computer. But I did not... Is there another way to restore my Apple TV to make it functional again?

If your device is working correctly, you would be able to restore it using one of the options in the settings menu (restore your Apple TV to its factory - Apple Support settings) but it is the screen, which will leave no navigate you the menus at all, then you will need to restore through iTunes. A USB A-C cable is not that expensive. Otherwise, you may make an appointment at an Apple Store Genius Bar or with an Apple Certified Support Provider and have them reset it for you. Hello guys and girls... I was just curious to know if it is ok if I sync data and restore ios using non certified lightning cable which means I have a Chinese... itunes restores the iphone to ios 9.3.1 perfectly and allows you to synchronize all the music and videos files without saying errors... but is it ok for my iphone? It could damage my iphone or will I get ios works in my camera? My iphone gets too hot during loading and the use of the wifi too... sometimes average 2 times he said cable not taken in charge, but during the restoration and synchronization please help me... im confused... tq for playback

Hi, I would not recommend using no real cables on Apple devices because they can cause problems. You get also the question of the products not authorized to appear on the screen which can be very annoying and it is because he has not got the necessary cable chip that its not true. The original cable is a little more expensive than the no real but its worth the investment that you don't buy new cables every few weeks. It will work with ITunes and transfer of data, but I wouldn't mind keen charging my iPhone/iPad with a as it is possible that they may cause damage. It's just not worth the risk.

  • Can I use my charger Macbook W 29 with a USBC to lightning cable to recharge an iPhone 6 more?

Apple has launched a new cable USB C lightning. I have a Macbook with charger W 29, I was wondering if I can also use this charger with a USB C to the lightning cable to charge my iPhone 6 Plus, with no risk of damage to the battery of the iPhone. Is there guidance from Apple or not experience from other users?

If it sends not more then 5volts to the device it cannot harm him.

  • Lightning cable I have phone 6

My charging cable began to wear in less than a year of purchase. And Apple Store refused me a replacement, I'm surprised to see such a bad response to retailer and a poor quality of the product which does not last even a year.

Why my charging cable is not replaced under warranty?

Sorry to hear but wear were never part of the guarantee. You must take care when using it.

    BTW, my iPhone 5 (2012), iPhone 5 s (2013), 6 (2014) iPhone, iPhone 6 s & 6 s Plus (2015), lightning cables are always good.

How to connect a non-apple for my mac mini screen?

    1. see #2.

    2. it depends on what type of cable the monitor has and the Mac mini ports; It is not a difference between an Apple and a monitor no Apple for this purpose. A Mini DisplayPort adapter allows to connect an older display until a Thunderbolt port.

  • Course speed SSD at 40 MB/s with USB - C cable

I recently bought a Samsung T3 USB - C SSD drive for use with my MacBook.

But right now I am facing a problem of course speed on that:

I bought it used with my MacBook retina 12' because of the support of USB - C

But there is a real problem for this drive to use with cable USB - C for USB - C:

If I use the USB - C to C USB Apple cable, I get only speed USB 2.0 which is capped at 40 MB/s in and out. As the 1-3 photo shows below.

If I use it with USB - cable USB - A C I USB 3.0 speed of 425 MB/s 400 MB/s on. But the downside part is for MacBook, I use a USB - C for the USB - A adapter as shown in photo 4-6.

If Apple is any course speed cable USB - C or Samsung should take the blame that send the wrong information of speed USB 2.0 for Macbook?

Use with direct cable Apple USB - C (I tried another cable USB - C like same problem anker/Chotech) cable is not the problem

You can see that the speed in the information system is listed as USB 2.0 at 480 MB/s

A speed test to confirm it is limited to the USB 2.0 standard:

If I use a USB to adapter USB - C and use the USB - C for cable USB - A on the SSD. It will run at full speed:

You can see that the speed in the information system is listed as USB 3.0 to 5 Gbps

A speed test confirm this works:

The USB - C to C USB cable that comes with the MacBook is not supposed to be used for data, this is to be able to only. You will need to buy a USB - C data cable.

    Dear Sir

I have laptop (Lenovo) with bluetooth Jabra wireless headset.

Could I use the most recent Airpod with my laptop or any other non-Apple bluetooth device?

    Best regards

    Denis Miller

    Hello

Airpod will work with non-Apple devices that use of plug in charge of Bluetooth headsets, but in doing so will not provide specific features of Apple.

When you use Airpod with Apple devices, users can benefit from automatic installation, Siri features and intelligent switching (with iCloud and macOS Sierra, iOS 10 account or watch OS 3).

  • Family sharing: every Member of the family needs of different Apple ID? Non-Apple ems can participate?

For many years - members of our family were Non-Apple, "PC users. 2 of us bought iPads. Read us carefully, which seemed to be legal briefs explaining specific Apple buys. We are Post grad educated adults. We have tried to read the 'fine print' Apple, but I guess that not ALL of us are not as intellectual as the "Tech Writers' @Apple.

Outstanding issues:-does not include members of the family in 'Sharing of the family' nor iCloud Photos (stored in icloud). -Is that each and every PC using the Member of the family, need to connect only with Apple ID? "ITunes game is" separate object Apple ID too? Finally, how many times can you change as a manager of Apple account with credit card, so "readily" available iTunes purchases without a warrant of a judge of the circuit court? Seems to my family, no, w/o peripheral non-Apple, can't do much, only with these iPads. Would appreciate answers polite, helpful, non-judgmental ppl who feel, if we don't have an in-depth knowledge of Apple, they are NOT intellectually challenge. Thank you

I try to analyse questions strung together.

"- Cannot include members of the family in 'Sharing of the family' nor iCloud Photos (stored in icloud)." I don't understand this.  Members must have an Apple ID, which you then invite to share.  Family shares - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT201060

    Yes, everything works with AppleIDs.

An iTunes subscription game is one by AppleID, not shared.  There is a similar feature which operates as part of a subscription to Apple's music for which there is a family subscription option.

The system is configured to work with the software and Apple devices even if part of the software is available in Android and Windows.

My verse ATT modem ({use of devices not apple wifi of this modem} is connected to the ATT line, Time Capsule (iPhones, Macs use the wifi of the time Capsule) and connect to the Uverse modem via ethernet.)

Both devices are set to the highest security and each uses separate passwords.

Non apple devices can collect data from iPhones or Mac using the time Capsule?

With a bit of work by someone who knows how to do such things, not Apple computers could read some files on the Mac if file sharing is configured on the network... devices non-Apple and... He knew the device passwords or administrator for Macs.

Mac could also play the files on other Macs if file sharing has been implemented and the device password or admin was known.

If you ask if a PC can read the files on the Time Capsule, the answer is Yes, without doubt, assuming that the PC knew the password of device for the time Capsule.

  • Pouvez the Superdrive Apple USB used with windows computer

Can I use the Superdrive Apple USB with the windows computer

Only on a USB Bus, which can provide more standard power 500 milliamps.

Apple computers that support this drive directly have a USB function that allows it to attract more of the standard.

    Drive sharing

If your Mac is not a built-in optical drive, and you must use a CD or DVD, you can connect an external drive as the SuperDrive Apple USB.

You can also share disks of the optical drive of another Mac or a Windows computer that has the DVD or CD sharing Setup installed. Sharing of CD or DVD allows you to access documents stored on these disks and allows you to install some software.
