Photos in Windows Live Photo Gallery does not?
I use the photo gallery Windows for years. When I updated to Windows 7 recently, I upgraded to Windows Live Photo Gallery and everything has been fine until recently - all of a sudden, when I open it, there are a ton of pictures that don't charge - they are solid gray rectabgles or rectangle of generic icon 'island '. When I double click on it, my image opens, but I have to be able to see all my photos in the Gallery - is - anyone know why this is happening?
(b) what kind of image files you are trying to open?
(c) that you get the error messages?
(d) what is the size of the file you are viewing?

Windows 8 Photo Gallery does not recognize images library
Photo Gallery does not recognize my images from the library. They were transferred here via my old Vista computer flash drive and I can open them in the file Explorer, but Photo said that my library is empty. Any ideas?I can see my Facebook photos in the photo library.1. create a new folder on your C drive named Pix22 copy a few files inside image3. Add to the library using the desktop/Explorer/library interface4 re - index and wait until it endedBarbNumber 4) helped to me exactly the same problem:
I just removed the folder my pictures from the picture library and put again; I'm guessing that the reindexing did the trick.Although a little concerned why this happens in the first place. I have absolutely nothing: he worked 2 (*) days, then no new program installed, not even new photos imported, maybe some updates for Windows and kaboom. Everything disappeared from the Photos app (everything from my computer, SkyDrive worked all the time.)
(*) My installation of Windows 8 is now 5 days old. It took 2.5 days to find this answer. Uninstall + Reinstall and other stuff suggested did not help.

Photo Gallery does not open some files that it used. He said that its not "supported"? In addition, I can't open some of the files that are in that I think an older version of word. How can I fix these problems? There is no window that opens for updates when opening Photo Gallery.
Well, you don't say what files it used to open then try this. Control Panel, programs, by default, set your default progaams, Windows Photo Gallery, set this program as default.

Windows live photo gallery does not recognize fujifilm camera files
I used to be able to download pictures from my camera without problem. Windows live photo gallery no longer recognizes that the file type and used to download my pictures more.
Any ideas?
Garet
What format are the photos?
What is the complete error message you see?
If you work with RAW files so that they will not be supported without additional codecs. Unfortunately, the optional Microsoft Camera Codec Pack does not support the Fujifilm RAW files at this time. Another option would be to use this converter on the site of Fujifilm software:
http://www.Fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/myfinepix_studio/RFC/v3220/index.html
(Please check that it applies to you before using it).

Windows Live Photo Gallery does not use default printer
When I print from Windows Live Photo Gallery it always by the incorrect printer default. By default, it uses the fax printer. All other characters to the right printer progames be default. And under priners Control Panel, it shows the green check mark on the printer default right. If I change to a photo printer, it prints very well. But then the next image always defaults to the fax printer. I use Vista 32 bit. The version of Windows Live Photo Gallery is 14.0.8064.206. The printer is a HP C7180. And I have the latest version of the driver.
Is there a way to get Windows Live Photo Gallery to use the default printer? Thanks for your help. Harry Karr
I think that the part Ne03 refers to a network or shared printer that is connected to your machine. For what it's worth, I have this entry in my registry.
HP Photosmart C4380 series, winspool, Ne02: so your entry (to me) seems pretty good.
Have you clicked on your HP printer and select the option "Run As Administrator" / Properties / Security and checked permissions, such that manage printers, records management, to ensure that everything is all right in there?
I'm still thinking possible "Bug", but are happy to be contradicted.
