  I have a new Toshiba Portégé A600-122 - the version with built in 3G modem. I have downgraded to Windows XP.

  I have a sim Vodafone Mobile Comms provided with a USB dongle, I used on a laptop earlier. £15 / month over 18 months, type of transaction.

  When I put the fist the Vodafone Sim in the Tosh all was fine and I could surf the net fine and do everything which that needed me. I was happy because I think the Modem in the Tosh is by Erickson (who do not use Vodafone to dongles) and the Wireless Manager I thought that maybe was not a problem!

  Unfortunately, something seems to go wrong. I can still connect, but when I look at a Web page, only half is displayed and no amount of waiting see fill. Its logical continuation in the present.

  I've updated the Manager wireless version: 5.2.1047.63 and no change. The new version seems to insist that select you a profile. The only one that works is Vodafone UK - contract. Which includes:
  Name of Access Point: internet
  Username: web
  Password: *.

  I don't know what is the password - as he came.

  As I tell a connection is established, are a few k installs and nothing. I tried to hang my firewall and antivirs package (Kaspersky) but no difference.

  Edited to add: I took out the sim card and handed in the Vodafone dongle and tried on another laptop - and everything works fine. If the card Sim and Vodafone seem to work well. I mean I don't know what has changed on the Tosh between work and not - I do not have regulalry use 3 G comms and if his was windeos updated and some programs added - as you do. Don't think I did something weird!

  I need your help or solutions. My problem is about my mobile broadband using stick and wireless optical mouse at the same time. I just bought a laptop Acer V13 and excited to use when I'm out and about. I have more access to public wifi and that's why I have this mobile broadband USB which I bought at my local service provider so that I can connect to the internet with it. This stick allows me to connect to the internet with a prepaid SIM in it. I'm sure you know what I describe about. I'm just explaining in detail. In any case, my stick is kinda huge. Then, when I plug in my USB port 1, I can't plug my mouse receiver into the other USB port wireless because the stick took so much space.   As mentioned above. I discovered that I can not use several hubs extension BUT... it works when you use usb single exntension. Managed to solve the problem and I finally can I plug my mouse wireless receiver so my stick mobile broadband. See photo!

  I installed Windows 7 on my Toshiba NB100 and after that the Wireless Manager says 'No SIM'. I have re-installed the Manager and all the new drivers from this site, but it does not help. It worked fine on XP.

  When I look in Device Manager and smart card readers there is a TOSHIBA F3507g Mobile Broadband USIM Port and when I look at the properties of it, he said: no drivers are installed for this device. I tried to click on Update driver but the system indicates that the correct driver is installed.

• Portege M750 Win7 64 bit Wireless Manager (3G) will not work

  I can't TOSHIBA Wireless Manager (3G) to work in a new installation of Win 7 64 bit.

  I did a test installation of Windows 7 64 - bit on and old SATA hard drive and checked TOSHIBA Wireless Manager would work. He did.

  I then did a fresh install of Windows 7 64 - bit on a new Crucial C300 Real SSD 256Go.

  The new facility with the Crucial SSD is not very successful... The operation "stop and restart" does not - the closing not always power off completely and you must push the switch down to.

  Sometimes the SSD does not start - you enter the password of the BIOS but then nothing happens. Sometimes you turn off the power and remove the battery before as the startup disk.

  But the biggest problem is that the (3G) Wireless Manager will not work. The application opens and indicates that "died" - which it is impossible that I use WiFi to post this question.

  I tried to install the software Vodafone 3 G portal. It detects the presence of the 'mobile device' (SIM in housing) but then can not turn it on.

  I downloaded and installed all the latest drivers for the chip, the pilot 3G, 3G software, LAN driver, LAN software and all updates of Windows 7.

  To be honest I don t understand how you could remove connections to broadband?
  However, you should check first if the 3G device is recognized in Device Manager correctly.
  If it is not recognized, this would require a 3G driver installation.

  So far, there is no driver / WM for available for download Win7.
  The existing XP/Vista driver / WM may not work on Win7.

  SW for an update of Windows 7 will be released soon.

  If you want to re - install or update the wireless driver you can download it on the Toshiba site, or you can find one on the CD tools & utilities.

  The profile used is taken from your provider's SIM card - do not try to create one yourself. He usually works with the settings.

  Try this:
  1. disable the 3 G module and exit the Wireless Manager.
  2. wait 5-10 seconds.
  3. turn on the 3 G module, and then open the Wireless Manager.
