Photoshop 5.0 installing THE 64-bit windows 7 PC

I have a new PC because Windows XP is no longer supported.

Tried to install the upper SW mentioned without success because it is a 32-bit version.

How procedures? (I have the key to the first installation)

Chances are that the software is too old to be compatible with a new machine.  Although you can install it there is little hope that the key would be usable for lack of an activation server.

I have a new 64-bit Win7 64 bit computer and I'll install CS5 as soon as it arrives on my front porch

Given that I have no 32-bit add-ins and the 32-bit version is useless, is there a way to tell the installer to use the 64 bit version?

To answer your question, it's the readme CS5:

    "

Photoshop will automatically install the 32-bit version of Photoshop CS5 if you're on a Windows 32-bit operating system. Photoshop will install both versions 32-bit and 64-bit Photoshop on 64 - bit systems. To install only the version of Photoshop 64-bit on a 64-bit Windows operating system, follow these steps:

    1. run the Photoshop CS5 Installer.

    2. Enter your serial number. Click on accept.

    3. on the right side of the Options Panel under the title of 64-bit, uncheck the box for Adobe Photoshop CS5. Let the "Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 bit)" option checked.

    4. complete the installation.

    Hope that helps

Prior to this installation, I was running 32 bit XP pro

You'll need during cratch because there is no way to upgrade a 32 bit OS to a 64-bit version of Windows.

Check your BIOS to make sure that your DVD drive is set as the first boot device, and then save your settings (if a change was required) and get out.

With the 64-bit DVD in the DVD drive, restart the computer.

Choose the "Custom" option and then delete the existing system and Windows partitions, click next to continue the installation,

Since you enabled the OS using the 32-bit product key most likely you need to activate by phone this time.

  • I installed Windows 7 64 bit and then some programs will not install the 64 - bit while telling me that I have a 32 bit OS. How can I make sure I have load a 64-bit version only when there is a choice?

I have create a new PC and installed Windows & Pro 64-bit. While some offer programs install both 32-bit and 64-bit as a single installation and the installation of the program checks it should install. A few programs installed 32-bit when I said to use the 64-bit. I received a message that I had a 32 bit OS and that it could not install the 64-bit version. How can I ensure that the 64-bit version is always installed when it is available. I have a program that I need it's 32-bit however.

I also installed Office 2010 and want to know how to check if it installed 32-bit or 64-bit.
All this is because I'm about to build a new PC for my wife and want to avoid these problems right at the front with it.
    Thank you

If you buy a commercial version of win7 you are provided with the installation dvd of bit versions and a unique activation key. You cannot install both versions.

Most of the programs will install without problem in a 64-bit version of victory, there is very little that will not be installed on Windows 64-bit.

You install programs as usual, you don't need to change any settings or install to anywhere other than their default locations. -C' IE you do not manually select the x 86 folder or any other folder.

If the program you are installing has the ability to install a specific version of bit, and it does not work, then the problem is that options program installers, you must contact the program support

A retail version of Office 2010 also comes with two versions of ILO.

Having a 64-bit version of victory does NOT mean that you need to install 64-bit Office, in fact MS recommends that stick you with 32-bit Office (reason being compatibility with various plug0ins Office)

And of course the 32-bit version of win only supports 4 GB of memory

  • How to download and install the 64-bit trial applications?

    Hi all

I am trying to download and install applications from the trial Adobe (Photoshop CS6, CS6 Dreamweaver and CfBuilder) on a Windows 7 64 bit.

When I chose the file to download, he showed me a 32-bit and 64-bit version of the application, so I thought he was even Installer for both...

But now at the start of the installation, it shows me that it will install in the x 86 folder.

Is this ok? 64-bit application installed in the x 86 folder...

Or do I have to re - download the installer? And how can I download the 64 bit version?

And if the Setup is the same, how can I force to install the 64 bit version of the application?

Something that could be linked to this problem: I have a very old Adobe account and before I used a 32-bit workstation... perhaps that the Setup is so stupid that he 'remembered' it?

I thank in advance for any suggestion

    Good bye

Once this is done, you should be without the notification and your Microsoft Updates must return to its normal state.  If you ever want to upgrade to Windows 10 new (remember, this is a work in progress and if you upgrade already on this system and active - there is a license for Windows 10 you'll never pay for related to this individual machine for the life of this individual machine) you can probably use the media creation tool to make * or * reverse the registry values (all above (: 00000001 becomes: 00000000 and all DWORD: 0-0000000 becomes: 00000001) and save this file and MERGE again.  Restart and you are back where you were before.

    * TIP * for everyone out there.  One thing I saw not advertised on the option of restoration of 30 days you have with Windows 10 is that * if * you run the media creation toolat any point in these 30 days, it BREAKS the ability to restore - even if you did just to create an ISO image, so you should have the installation media to continue.  That's because this tool recreates the $' Windows. ~ BT' and ' $Windows. ~ records of the WS on the root of your C drive and these two folders and their content after the upgrade as well as the "Windows.OLD" folder (the only 'visible by default' one of the three) are all necessary for the process of restoration work.

Yes, it should work. You may need to activate by phone after the upgrade. Ranging from a 32-bit OS for a 64 bit OS requires that you choose 'custom' own installation option.
