  • Change in "Photoshop cc 2014' does not work from Lightroom

I've recently upgraded to Lightroom as well as Photoshop CC 2014 5.5.  I'm unable to attempt to alter a photo of LR to Psalm

Using the right click option - "Edit in Adobe Photoshop CC 2014"open PS with no picture to change.

    Please notify.

Many people have resolved this issue by uninstalling and reinstalling PS - CC 2014.

But I also agree that it takes a few minutes for the image to open.  You could try to open a second image of the LR in the PS without closing PS between the two and see if that gives PS to do enough time to open both of them.

Because you have CC 2014 on a Mac, which tells me that your OSX is probably 10.8 or less.

The updated Camera Raw, 9.5 causes this error due to a conflict with older versions of Mac OS x, and you go back to 9.4

Setup for 9.4 is in this technote: error: 'File not found' when opening JPEG files

So just follow the instructions and you should be fine.

  • Photoshop CC 2014 - unable to open multiple files at once from bridge or Camera Raw

Somewhere along the line of the last few months I can no longer open several files in bridge or Camera Raw.  A single file opens fine, but I can't load files into different layers, or perform a photomerge of bridge.  I've tried dumping the preferences file, but it made no difference.

Problem seems to have started when I undid an installation of Photoshop CC 2015 (too many crashes) and tried to replace Photoshop CC 2014.  The 2014 version seems to work in all respects, except the impossibility to open several files.

This continued through a few updates.

No idea what to try next?

    Hi ajphotoman - we,.

    Have you tried the following?

Select multiple images in Bridge and go to the menu Tools > Photoshop > load files into Photoshop layers.

    OR

Open Photoshop and go to the menu file > Scripts > load files into a pile

  • [Mac] Photoshop CC 2014 leave when I open a document

Hi, I'm on a MAC (10.9.5) and since yesterday, it is impossible for me to open a document in Photoshop CC 2014.

    I can't even open a single image.

I already uninstalled the software, reinstall and deleted via the keyboard shortcut preferences.

    Anyone with the same problem?

Looks like Photoshop tries to set a preference in a plist file and Apple to work with plist files code crashes due to something already in the plist file.

Apple has fixed a few similar accidents in their code plist in the past, but this one is not quite one of them.

I'll have to do more research to see if we can understand exactly what plist is bad.

My first guess is that the shared MRU list (used by bridge) is corrupted (it's happened before and exhibited some of the previous accidents Apple).

Exit Photoshop and Bridge, and then try to delete the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.mediabrowser.plist

Then restart Photoshop and try to open a document.

I can't open the Lightroom (5.7.1) files in Photoshop CC 2014.  When I right click on and select Edit in Photoshop CC 2014, nothing happens.  I uninstalled CC 2014 and Lightroom but no change.

    All,

Thanks for your help.  The only thing that worked was uninstall LR and CC 2014 AND preferences Remove.  After you have reinstalled the programs worked well, but I still couldn't edit CC from Lightroom in 2014.  After restarting the MAC, many times the function returned.  I don't know why, but it works now.

    Thanks again.

  • Photoshop CC 2014 crash when you open or create new files when running with Cintiq 13HD.

I have a problem where Photoshop CC 2014 crashes when you try to open or to create a new file while the Photoshop window is displayed on my Cintiq 13HD.
When Photoshop is displayed on my main screen, it does not crash.

I am running Windows 7 (64-bit) and have updated my graphics and wacom drivers in their latest versions and Photoshop is completely up to date. (I'm under the 30 day free trial)

Here is the log of the events of the accident:

The failing application name: Photoshop.exe, version: 15.2.1.257, time stamp: 0x543dbc5e

    The failed module name: atig6txx.dll, version: 8.14.1.6398, time stamp: 0 x 54176130

    Exception code: 0xc0000005

    Offset: 0x00000000000122b7

ID of the process failed: 0x23dc

Start time of application vulnerabilities: 0x01d0030b1092334e

    The failing application path: D:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Photoshop.exe

Path of the failing module: C:\Windows\system32\atig6txx.dll

    Report ID: 61680f48-6efe-11e4-aeeb-bc5ff45851ea

Next, you need to communicate with AMD/ATI to see why his latest driver is crashing on your system and not on the other user's systems.

  • Photoshop CC 2014 will not open all the files, not even create new ones

I have a freshly installed version of Photoshop CC 2014, and it is enough to open any file single no matter what I do.  I also CC 2014 Illustrator installed since last week and it behaves very well, and even open files that Photoshop won't open (jpg, psd, png, etc.).

I tried uninstalling completely and reinstalling and it doesn't always open all files.  In fact, nothing happens when I click on the 'Open' button in the open file dialog.

I also try to reset my user preferences using this video tutorial, and it also has not solved the problem: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/preference-file-names-locations-photoshop.html

Everyone knows this or can give information on how to solve it?

    Thank you!

Well, I finally got to work by trial and error.  Here are the steps I used to run:

    (1) make sure that you are not behind a Firewall/VPN/etc, just connect directly to the internet (if possible).  I use Adobe for my work laptop, and I was informed that this could be a problem during the installation process.

    (2) uninstall Photoshop via the creative cloud application interface.

    (3) click on icon creative cloud of the system and "Quit" status bar (it is automatically started for me to a previous start)

    (4) make a right click on the creative cloud desktop icon and choose "Run as Administrator"

    (5) Photoshop re - install

After completing the above steps, I can now open any file png, jpg, gif, etc, so that start a new file.  I have no idea why it works or if my not play no role in fixing it, but I thought it was worth sharing for others to try if they encounter a similar problem.  It could be the firewall that I was behind, or the permissions (I don't think creative cloud starts as an administrator).  But I'm not able to say that I know the exact resolution.  I hope this helps!

This means that those who are photoshop cs6 plugins and do not work in photoshop cc 2014

Cartella main plugin: / Applications / Adobe Photoshop CC 2014/plugins /.

Then launch photoshop cc 2014 and see if that makes a difference

Hello.  I use Photoshop CC 2014 on a MAC with os x LION.  I also have Photoshop CS6 installed.  When I double-click on a file in Bridge CC, it always opens in CS6.  If I say 'OPEN WITH Photoshop CC 2014', or if I drag the file directly to the CC, 2014 in the Dock, it will open in CC.  Since I want to double click or hit back in the deck, I constantly have to wait that the file opens in CS6, CS6 abandonment then opens another way to get into Photoshop CC 2014.  I tried to disable CS6 by hiding, but double-clicking Bridge has nothing.  Any ideas why this happens?

Check and adjust the file types Associations in cc Bridge preferences.
