Photoshop CS6 continues to plant

I installed photoshop CS6 extended on my brand new mac pro early 2013 book and it worked without any problem until Thursday, September 4, 2014. While working on a photoshop illustration quit unexpectedly. A huge binary explanation is included in the message to quit smoking. Having received the order to go on the forum so I advise initially by Adobe uninstalled photoshop and reinstalled. Following still advises I then removed the preference folder as well as the section of library adobe brushes folder. I also removed the illustion that I worked. I am at a loss to know what to do next as the problem continued. Can someone help me please? as it became very frustrating.

You have not installed updates CS6 - go install the updates of Photoshop.

Please check your host file and try to activate again:

    Reset the hosts file:

  • Could the corrupted Photoshop CS6 files be planting my iMac?

I have by mistake upgraded to El Capitan, while using CS6, and it caused problems since. My iMac would be cut and then turn again, turn off, suite... repeatedly. Apple and I did a lot of troubleshooting before I checked the compatibility and realized CS6 and El Capitan are incompatible. Duh!

I erased from my hard drive and reinstalled my old OS, 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and then used my saved .dmg since when I bought CS6 years ago and resettled. The computer always crushed.

I then downloaded new files from Adobe and ran both InDesign and Photoshop for a few days and everything was fine. Today, I was once again, the two, but in USING Photoshop running when it crashed again. When it crashes, the screen goes gray white and it takes several tries in Recovery Mode or Cmd Option PR to get it back in service again.

If I am to the old OS and files installed in new ONES from Adobe, I don't understand why it always crashes. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems?

Apple ran the diagnostics on the computer last week and they said that the material was normal, so there must be software I'm running.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Applications can cause all of the closed system, freeze, restart or BSOD/Kernel Panic.

These behaviors can only be caused by bugs in the operating system, bug in low level drivers, or faulty hardware.

By far the most common cause, that we have seen is faulty RAM.

The gray screen say anything? If so, it's a kernel panic, and Apple technicians can get more information from the system. (don't let them blame Photoshop, because they should know better.)

Diagnostics of natural material of Apple (the genius bar or in the backroom of the store) would not catch errors like that - they would fail only for the same types of errors that could prevent the machine from running at all.

For example, test RAM problems with accuracy to swap the memory, or send the machine to a regional repair center that has the best material (and more experienced).

I'm trying to update photoshop CS6 v 13.0x64. I was told to close the bridge until he could continue but the bridge is closed and nothing that I will not convince him. What should do?

This happens often enough for me with other applications.  Even if they are closed, the computer detects it as still running.  I use Windows Task Manager to end the process.  Another option, restart your computer.

  • Photoshop CS6 upgrade from versions CS4 continually asking serial number.

I bought an upgrade Photoshop CS 4 to 6 CS Photoshop directly from Adobe in December of 2012. (My version of CS4 was purchased by me as part of a CS4 Web Premium Suite.)

My CS4 version works since 2009 with no licensing issues.

I have not installed him see CS6 immediately, I just install it in August of this year, but I don't think that the problem comes from my delay in installation.

What happens is that each 6 - 8 times I open the program, I get a screen asking me to "License Creative Cloud", which I don't want.

The only options I gave are: join now, this licensed productor trial to continue.

If I simply X out of the screen, Photoshop CS6 open at all.

If I click on: this product licensed, I get a login screen asking you my serial number, I fill out and then my program opens.

I tried 3 times to customer support - a cat and 2 phone calls (all less than 1 hour each time) and I do not receive the correct help to solve this problem.

I am extremely frustrated and outraged that I'm embarrassed by this stupid question.

Please help me stop this screen on creative to appear cloud and constantly having to enter my serial number.

  • Photoshop CS6 extended Vs Windows 10

After that Microsoft forced an upgrade of windows 10 while I was away from my computer.

I tried to run my Photoshop CS6 Extended version 64 bit.

"The Splash screen is displayed and the line of the message says" searching for the Plugin.

I let Photoshop continue his search from one day to the next, without success. the next morning, I checked the Task Manager and it did not any percentage of CPU.

I finished Photoshop and tried to restart with a REBOOT.

Again tried to launch Photoshop and he Hung with the same search for status of Plugins.

I finished Photoshop and tried to restart with a REBOOT.

I tried to re install Photoshop CS6 extended 64-bit from Creative Sweatshirt Setup.exe

He said that he he has reinstalled in the same place as the original Photoshop CS6 extended 64-bit.

Use File Explorer to navigate to the folder programs/Adobe/Photoshop CS6 extended 64-bit and double clicked on the Photoshop.exe

the start screen appears as before and stopped looking for Plugins status.

In the folder of the Photoshop Plugin, there are the following plugins

    Fiffin DXF

    Topaz Labs

    Portrait Studio Pro Max V15

    Collection of NIK Googles

I used windows Explorer to navigate to the folder Program files (x 86) to Adobe/Photoshop CS6

I double-clicked on the photoshop.exe and open Photoshop and all plugins are here and they are working.

If I go to Bridge CS6 and open a file, it tries to open the 64-bit version of Photoshop and crashes.   looking for plug-ins

What should I do to get the 64-bit version of Photoshop CS6 Extended working again?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide

    Hey GaryM,

Hold down the SHIFT key and launch Photoshop, now this will help you to jump all plugins at startup.

In addition, you must reinstall the Plugins for use in Photoshop on the manufacturing site.

  • PhotoShop CS6 repeatedly crashing and complain of graphic material

We have a copy of Photoshop CS6 running on Windows 7 in vmware Fusion on a macbook pro.  He has worked very well for a year or two, and now it does not start.  It will give the typical mistake of crash Windows "Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped working".  And it will sometimes give you the error "Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver and has temporarily disabled the improvements using graphics hardware.  This behavior persists if we check the box to activate the graphics performance or not (under edition/preferences/Performance).  We tried to reset the profile of Photoshop with ctrl + alt + shift.  There is no update for the graphics card.  Photoshop runs fine on the Mac side, but not in Windows.  I've been everywhere in the internet and forums, but continue to operate in the same suggestions that do not work.  Any ideas?

  • Reinstall Photoshop CS6

I'm under the creative cloud of Photoshop and Lightroom versions. Programs work well, but I don't have a GPU in my computer so some features do not work. Sometimes I need to use the filter correction Adaptive wide-angle. In Photoshop CC 2015 this filter requires the GPU, Photoshop CS6 requires no GPU. So I decided to reinstall Photoshop CS6. The first update, I have been told everything went well. But then I have notified a second update and received this error message when I tried to install it:

    Capture.JPG

I followed the instructions and downloaded the update and tried to install it manually. But I received a notice that the update has failed and that the update applies. Photoshop CS6 seems to work very well. Filter Adaptive wide-angle works as expected. But the Manager of creative application cloud continues to tell me that there is an update, and it will not be installed. Any suggestions?

  • Photoshop CS6 no longer works.

I bought the standalone Photoshop CS6 years when he was released and later joined the creative cloud. I recently decided not to continue my subscription to the CC and thought I could continue to use the CS6 as I already had, but appears not to be the case. I'm puzzled as to why I need a subscription to the CC to use the stand alone version that I bought before existing same CC.

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you. Kim

  • After a update on Win10 / 64, I can't install Photoshop CS6

    After a update on Win10 / 64, I can't install Photoshop CS6 (version 13.0).

    Anyone know a solution?

    Thank you!

    I found the problem yourself.

You just have to "ignore" the prompt for restart (= buuton).

Then, the installation will continue and install the rest!
