Photoshop, do not print correct size of paper

I have an Epson WF-7520 and last week when I try to print from photoshop - any size, I created the new page layout (11 x 14, 11 x 17, etc.) it prints the work 8.5 x 11.  I know that it is a problem with photoshop because my illustrator program print to the specified paper size.

I tried everything in my power - there must be a gift I messed around with makeup that happen... Any help is much appreciated please!

Go to the Epson website and download the latest printer driver from the Mavericks for the Epson WF 7520 and start its installation. Software printing would not have been compatible Mavericks.

If that's not solve this problem, Reset the OS X printing system (this is a link to the instructions from Apple) and reinstall the Epson printer driver.

  • Designjet z6100: Z6100 do not print correctly

I tried to print to my DesignJet z6100 after update to windows 10 but the machine will not print to something greater then 14 ".  I have a 24 "roll loaded on the machine and when I try to print with photoshop, I select a page 16" x 20 "size, but it prints just 14" and then cut the rest of the image.

The printer is reading so I know that's not that media to 24 ".  It seems that im missing some menu items in the print settings that I can not select a custom paper size dialog.  my software support HP tells me that my drivers are up to date, it reads as a pilot class HP designJet z6100 42 inch.

Any ideas what could be the cause, or is there something else I should do to print on this machine?

OK so I finally understood this point, I have listed the steps below in case anyone else had this problem.

    1) download the drivers from the HP website

    (2) unzip the drivers in a folder somewhere you can find it (I put it on my desk)

    3) go to start > settings > devices and click on add a printer or a scanner

    (4) after scanning, an option that says 'the printer that I want isn't listed"will appear. click it

    (5) select "add a local printer or network printer with manual settings.

    (6) select your printer is connected to the port (because mine is networked, I selected the IP address of the printer that was rated) and click Next

    (7) select "have disk" at the bottom right

    (8) select 'Browse' and that it points to the folder that was unzipped earlier.  There should be a file that appears, select it.

    (9) from here must install a driver called "HP Designjet 42 inch Photo HPGL2" it's the one you want.  You can share or not, I've selected do not share

The "class driver" is the software an HP and windows tries to install, but it has very limited functionality.  Honestly im a little upset I fgure on all this for me.  the HP less could do is put som instructions for installation with their drivers in a readme file or on the site.  Instead, they just give the files you and waiting to discover by yourself.

I have a HP Pavillion on computer 2 years with Windows 8.1

    I have a HP printer Deskjet 1055

I have a business card (10 cards to a page) implemented through Microsoft 2007 (it is not their software).  When I'm ready to print the view shows all 10 cards to print, with colors on some lines.  When it prints I get a card to print in the top right corner and not printing in color lines, these lines just do not print.  Cartridge is not empty, tested with other programs (not microsoft schedule print program... correct does).

I ran the basic "fix it" for the printer... nothing to fix.  Did not run scan... as I don't use than ever.

Any solution to my current frustration?  Or am I relegated to install the new card program to print?

    Thank you, Kris

    KrisLove,

    Welcome to the HP Forum.

For years, I used the very nice, clean, easy to use - AND free - software with all my templates Avery Avery DesignPro.  Alas, it will be no more installed with Windows 8.1; I'm sorry to lose this program.

There is a replacement of Avery- Avery Wizard for Microsoft Office

After reading your post, I finally had the time to download and install the program Avery Wizard on my own installation of Windows 8.1 running Office 2010.  The Avery Wizard works.  It is compatible with your Office 2007.

The wizard installs quickly and without a bit of pain in Word, where you can click on an icon to start the initial process to create a business card page (and no, the new program will not read the biz DesignPro workbooks - rat nozzles).

The list card templates and label in the wizard includes the card very popular model number 8871; your chances to find a model, you can use are very good.

Open Word, click on the Avery Wizard icon > the small window of the wizard opens and that's what you get work creating this model.    Fortunately, this is a process short to get anything on the card models.

You have to kind of the rock and the ratchet through a clumsy process where some buttons do not work, the entrance is off, Word may stop completely and all this reminds you that even if the software is free, it might be better to buy something that actually works.  To complain.

    Tips:

    • Select this option to fill the entire page of ten with the entries of same.
    • Enter whatever it takes to get a couple or three lines of simple text on the map, ignore the fact that you will not be able to select the text you want, the color, the size - it may work, it may not...
    • Click next
    • Click here to see your print preview - no matter what you see, it's very good.
    • Save the document with your standard Word doc or docx file
    • Once the file is saved in Word format, you're golden.
    • You can save, open, change, insert your images, make what you want.
    • The impression is that it has always been - if I remember: set the stock cards face down, top to the printer

Printing options > paper > Media must be set to Brochure / card stock or whatever you have that is close

If - the work of the Assistant, it's just a bit of a pain to use.  He gets a model card in a standard format that you can then print like the old days.

    Ta-Da.  Low magic.

Click on the Thumbs-Up Kudos to say thank you for the help. ».

I snipped an element (using the Windows snipping tool) and pasted into a Word document.  When I view the document in the document print preview mode is correct.  When it prints the HP 8610 printed changes the size of the item snipped.  I tried to print the document using my old Pro from HP 8000 and it prints correctly snipped the element size.  However my 8000 old Pro does not print in color so I can't use it for this document.

This isn't the first time the 8610 has changed the size of an item, snipped.  How can I solve the problem?

    Hi @socalobie,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see you are having problems printing to a chiseled image correctly to your HP Officejet Pro 8616 e-all-in-one printer. I'd be happy to help you with this.

In order for me to help you best, I can get more information.

What format you save the image under?

What program are you printing from?

    I recommend the following steps:

Start with the capture of the image that you want to print, select Save Snip or click on the file-> record under-> Select the JPEG file-> save.

Now, locate the image that you saved and double-click it to open it.

It should open in Windows Photo Viewer.

Choose Print-> Print-> choose your printer-> choose the right size of paper-> photo select to adjust the framework.

    See how that turns out.

If you still experience problems, it could be a problem with the printer driver.

Printing and scanning doctor will determine if the printer uses the correct driver. Please download and run the print and Scan doctor, it will be probably diagnose and fix the problem you are experiencing.

What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!

  • Photosmart 7520 will not print on color construction paper.

My Photosmart 7520 print text on color construction paper.  It feeds through the status bar, but does not print.

    Hey @JanMO,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

If you have a 7520 Photosmart all-in-one that doesn't seem to not want to print on color construction paper? Because the product is to feed the paper in the paper tray but isn't actually put ink on the page is does not seem to be a problem with the book itself and not filling not the management of specifications that your printer takes in charge for a type of paper.

According to the specifications of 7520 Photosmart it can handle:

    • Types of media supported: Paper (brochure, inkjet, ordinary), photo paper, envelopes, labels, cards (greeting), transparent
    • Supported media formats: Letter, legal, 4 x 6, 5 x 7 in., 8 x 10, no. 10 envelopes
    • Recommended weight: 16-80 lbs.

    Plug Photosmart e-all-in-one printer 7520

You know the exact weight of the construction paper?

Your printer will print on other media, such as plain white paper or photo paper glossy with no problems?

You could try to browse the next document in troubleshooting print quality, but please note that if your paper is not listed in the support media types, sizes or requirements of weight that you can do more harm to your printer.

  • HP Officejet 7110: HP Officejet 7110 will not print A3 size

We bought the printer and are having problems trying to get the printer to print A3 size. Setting the parameters of the A3 printer (and the printer settings also calls on A3) the printer still prints in A4.

We use the latest driver from HP. We use the wireless operation mode. Three different computers running Windows 7 OS all faced the same problem.

After using the HP 1220C 'work horse' for many years (make a few noises now!) without any problems, decided to upgrade to the 7110.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Gemini02,

    Thanks for your help.

Tried to change the parameters of location on the computer to the United States. This has no effect.

Also, check the print in the print dialog options, changed a few settings but put back them as they were, but he noticed that print preview now shows a decent view for A3 (before the part showed A4 drawing on the page. The printer now printed A3 drawing correctly! Really not sure what I did but it works now!

Decided to download the latest version of the driver and versions of Firmware for the printer 7110 since the HP (64 bit exe) website just in case where for some reason I did not use the latest software of the printer.  Two other peoplke in Office did the same and we are all now print A3 drawings properly.

    Thanks again for your help

  • HP Deskjet 2540: Does not print correctly

    Hello!

I was wondering if everything can perhaps help me?

I'm in Uni and so have to print several etc test and for all these front page - but every time I try to print this cover on the printer page or amends the provision does not print. Why is this?
The cover page looks essentially like a chart with several boxes.

And even if there is enough paper in the printer it says exactly the opposite, I want this problem is easy to fix (remove the film and put it again), but it's starting to annoy me

Is there something I can do?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello @alinah,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are printing problems when printing a cover sheet with your tests to your computer Windows 8.1 for the all-in-one printer HP Deskjet 2540. In addition, you have met your printer issues as well with intermittent 'in paper'. I want to help you solve these issues today.

To be honest, the paper intermittent power issue and the cover page number can down to a problem of programming with your printer. If your "brains" of printers is corrupt in any way that the printer is not responding correctly. To make your printers programming up to date, please click here. When the site opens, select the download button at the top left. Allow the download to run. Please follow the instructions on the screen to complete the Firmware update of the programming.

Once the update is complete test please print again. If the number of cover persists, please continue to the next step.

    Add another driver:

It is likely that the driver for Deskjet you use is in conflict with your Windows 8.1 operating system, even if your printer is compatible with the Windows 8.1. To ensure that a driver conflict provokes questions, please follow the steps below.

    1. Open the Start screen (by selecting the windows start button in the lower left corner or by selecting the "Windows" button at the bottom left of your keyboard to the left of the 'Ctrl' key
    2. In the start screen, type "devices and printers".
    3. If the option devices and printers automatically fills, click settings at the top right and then click on devices and printers.
    4. In the devices and printers folder right click on your HP Deskjet 2540 and left-click on properties of the printer
    5. Left click on the Advanced tab
    6. Left-click on new driver
    7. When the new driver window just press 'Next' until you see a list of manufacturers on the left and a list of Printers on the right.
    8. Select HP as the manufacturer on the left
    9. DeskJet 9800 select the printer on the right. If Deskjet 9800 is only select "Windows Update" at the bottom left and once the update has been completed, you will be able to select Deskjet 9800.
    10. After selecting Deskjet 9800 hit Next to complete the wizard driver new
    11. Under the printer properties window, select "Apply", but don't hit not OK
    12. Select the general tab
    13. Rename your printer in HP Deskjet 2540
    14. Click OK
    15. Finally, right click on your HP Deskjet 2540 one more time and left-click on Printing Preferences
    16. Left click on the paper/quality tab
    17. Left click on the drop down menu 'Normal' for quality printing at the bottom right and change its normal fast
    18. Press apply and OK

Once the new driver is added, please test print to see if your problem is resolved.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hear from you!

  • 4.0 beta 12 do not print correctly. Is there a solution? How do we uninstall Beta 12?

After installing the latest patch, nothing will print properly. All the sites, all the files, just not spacing correctly when sending to the printer. Previous version worked end and all other browsers print correctly.

The fix will be in the next beta version, if there is one, or in the version 4.0 Release Candidate. Or you can install the last mine field every night.
