  I have 8.1 Windows and Photoshop elements 11 works well. I bought Photoshop elements 12 yetserday and since I tried at least 10 facilities following various forums suggestions how to solve problems related to space 12 elements Photoshopped without success (e.g., http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/troubleshoot-installation-photoshop-elements-premiere.html#main_Error__Below_mentioned_applications_have_failed_to_install__Shared_tech nologies_).

  Looks like Photoshop elements 12 and the organiser are corrctly SOLARCOSY but I get an error message related to shared technology (see atatched image):

  

  When I run Adobe Application Manager, there is a process of automatic upgrade from which is failling too... (see image below):

  

  So I hope that Adobe support will be able to quickly provide a solution to these problem.

  I lost my license key to my Photoshop Elements 8, the program was part of an agreement of packadge when I bought my Canon 9000 scanner - for which I stil have the receipt. I did register online as a user and have an Adobe account - unfortunately I can't see the program 'under products"in my profile. I still program insalled on a quickly dying old labtop - is possible to extrct the license key? Or any idea how I can get a new license key? Thank you

• Photoshop Elements 11. Don't save images, freezes. No technical support

  Hi, I got problem with Photoshop elements 11 in recent weeks that it freezes when I try to record images. I'm on a Mac, with the crew of Apple support I have checked everything on my side to see if the problem with my hardware or operating system but it's not like we uninstalled and reinstalled my OS. I uninstalled 11 PS elements yesterday and then reinstalled again (via my tab 'bought' in the Apple App store), but it does not solve the problem either.

  Customer support told me that there is no technical support available for this product because it is obsolete. Find it me hard to believe that Adobe lets its users into trouble with paid-for-the products that have become unusable well.

  Am I obliged to upgrade (from $99) or can someone please help me to solve these problems with my PS 11 elements?

  I have problems with activation Photoshop elements 13. The program itself won't let me even in my adobe ID (seems like it can't connect to the internet, even if my internet connection works fine in the case;) I even tried to disable my firewall and my antivir program). Then, I tried the offline activation method but I can't get a response code; I'm in (and verified) both my serial number and my activation code, but the latter seems to be invalid (even though it worked very well when it is used to get the serial code). I have already consulted the troubleshooting page and looked in my host file and the certificate - nothing helped.

  I have to say that this process of installation of a program are not as painful and tedious as it should install photoshop elements. Any help for this to work? Operating system is Windows 7.

  If you receive error message like "try following steps:"

  Adobe end all processes from the Task Manager.

  Once you have deleted the file Opm.db and set the network settings to detect settings automatically, launch the Photoshop Elements Installer and try to enter the serial number and check.

  Go to C: Program (x 86) > Common Files > Adobe.

  Under Common Files > Adobe.

  If necessary remove Adobe Application Manager folder.

  Click on the link below and download Adobe Application manager and install the same:

  Once the installation is complete, look for the icon of Adobe Application Manager launch on desktop and double-click it.

  It will start the update process.

  You need camera raw 6,7 & PSE10 for the 5 d mkiii. Otherwise, download and install the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your raw files to the universal Raw format files and Adobe will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for uses in the software of the camera factory)

  I can't get an image from a DVD player plugged in. I installed the VHS player in accordance with the manual of PC through the Monitor socket and the cable supplied. There is also an interesting note in the Manual: "before installing any device via the monitor-in port, you should give the Terminal Shape (form of sleeve) parameter. But there is nothing said about how or where this setting needs to be done.

• Photoshop Elements 12 - can't get pass the Shared technology installation

  I spent hours trying to install Photoshop elements 12 on my 64-bit Windows 8.1 computer. Happily chugs installation process along and then choke an unspecified error while installing the shared technologies and then cancel the installation.

  Setup leaves a load of files in the directory of 12 elements Photoshopped; the installation program fails uninstall throw up an error on an empty path that requires editing the registry to move.

  I tried a variety of "bugs" (it sounds like a common problem) remove the OOBE, installation to hard disk directory, turning of the auditor of virus/firewall, installation of command-line and even download the whole package from Adobe site (I bought it on CD) and all have failed and installation 'shared technologies' seems to be the problem.

  I'm a same experience computer user but I've almost reached the point of all packing up and sending back; I'm not very confident about the quality of the software, when I can't even past the installation program.

  Is it possible to install Photoshop elements on a windows 8.1 12 or maybe a way to download and install the shared separately technologies?
