  There is no free version of CS2.  There is only a special version of CS2 available for those who have bought and need to reinstall it.

  You must read the user final license agreement and you will find that the OEM licenses have restrictions. You need to understand.

  You can have active copies of Photoshop and technically to only use one of them at some point. If you have not disabled your total on your old machine running will always be two so you will need to contact Adobe and have them reset your account.

  You can get the license of VMware site as described on the blog post that you posted above, because there is no different license for OEM ISOs.
